    Ernie was such a positive, optimistic person. No wonder he lived so long.

    Thank you to Chris, and his talented
    2 friends, the cameraman and the narrator who asks Ernie interesting questions, I want to personally thank the three of you so much for doing such an excellent job with these series of videos of Ernest Borgnine driving across Middle America in his SunBum. These videos have provided hours and hours of joy and happiness for me during these difficult times of COVID. I literally feel like I am on the bus with all of you too!!! Thanks to the fantastic job you have all done with these one-of-a-kind videos, I feel so privileged to get to know this gem of a man, Ernest Borgnine, in such a natural unique way in 2021, 26 years after it was originally filmed in 1995. Thank you!❤

    I remember this guy visiting Walter Reed when I was laid up there. Got pretty busted up while I was deployed back in 07-08' He say on the end of my hospital bed and we talked for almost ten minutes. Ernie was just one of those people and there's not too many out there. He had an aura to him, if that makes any sense. I could feel how big his heart was and that he possessed a bottomless well of love and kindness to draw on. Ten minutes is all it took for me to love the guy and I still do to this day.

    Ernie was one of the NICEST, SMARTEST, MOST DOWN TO EARTH, AWARD WINNING ACTORS THAT WE HAVE EVER SEEN. He was definetely one of a kind and is missed terribly. RIP Ernie we miss people like you.

    Earnest Borgnine! One of my top 10 actors of all time! I'am 57. My dad had a parking lot in Indianapolis in the 50's and 60's. right next to the Athletic building on Pennsylvania Ave. I remember some of the stars my dad parked their cars for! John Wayne, Dan Blocker, I can't remember that far back well!. I don't remember if Earnest Borgnine was there, I was only 6 or 7. He was a great actor though! I would have loved to have met him on my RV travels! God Bless you Ernest! You were a people person that loved America. I suppect your young son is the same! Carry on Son!

      He was from North Haven, Connecticut. A talented actor, a Navy veteran, and a true American patriot!

    A way of looking at life we are losing and when this generation is gone manners will go with them.

    • @susanronan725
      @susanronan725 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes indeed. All manners will be forgotten and compassion will be nonexistent. You see so much of it today, and it is the fault of the parents of how they were raised.

    He’s great at changing the subject when the question gets stupid.
    “Look at these farms! Ain’t that gorgeous?”
    LOL

      The kid that was asking all the dumb questions was aggravating, and Ernie was just being nice by changing the subject, instead of telling the kid what's up with all the stupid questions. LOL

    I love finding out that a movie star I admire was indeed a nice person off-screen. What a humble down to earth person he was. Gosh, the stories he must have had! Wonder if he wrote an autobiography?

    John Wayne wasn't known for cursing outside of "hell" or "damn." The worst curse he ever used on film was "S.O.B." in full, in "True Grit."

    I love how he pronounces, "Mukwonago." "Mook-wahn-AH-go"😅 It's actually pronounced, "Muhk-WAHN-ah-go. But Ernest can say it any way he pleases.
    My brother lives in "Mook-wahn-AH-go." I am going to have to pronounce it like that from now on.😀

    I thought the interviewer was very good got a lot of questions in. I ask myself all the time why the cursing totally unnecessary.

  • @colh5910
    @colh5910 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The interwiewer is terrible at asking questions. Such a shame as a more professional person would get alot more out of the interviewee by preparing in advance.

      I don't think that was the object of the trip. It wasn't a TV show.
