Nice fix, the DPF probably got blocked because there are outstanding fault codes. Yours being the glow plugs and the fuel temperature sensor. Until they are fixed, the van won’t regenerate the DPF under normal driving conditions and will likely become blocked again. You can also monitor the DPF pressure and grams of soot on your scan tool reducing via live data, whilst you’re doing the clean.
Great fix, definitely worth doing I've used the cans a few time and it's always worked. Sometimes you need to reset the pdf values and tell the car it's had a new dpf
Just a point of safety make sure you’re on top of the ramps because they can fly out I noticed the passenger side wasn’t all the way, also 500ml is half a litre😂I asked Alexa 😂😂
Hi, thanks for commenting, i did try to get it off but the bolts were not good, I applied hestntp them too, I used the 1 can to see how it would do. I'm going to get more and do another on the van and un my car.
Links in the description for the dpf cleaner.
Used this 2 months ago, worked great and my car now runs great.
Glad I discovered this gem, saved me a fortune. Thank you for commenting

Yer I am due mot and I'm not mechanic, I have glow plugs ready to go in. Appreciate the message though.

Good explanation and easy cheap fix for a change 👍

i got quoted £195 to do my peugeot van, did it myself cost £7.98, 2 cans of oven cleaner.

Hey thank you very much, kind words indeed.
Make sure you are using the correct oil. If its not low saps you will block the dpf quicker.
What is low spas please, I know the oil has to be a decent viscosity for the any dpf regen to correctly.

Lol yer I realised after I had said that about 500ml, I had but chocks, behind the rear wheels too, thank-you for commenting though.
Which topscan tool do you have?
2024 TOPDON Bluetooth OBD2 Code Reader Full Systems Auto Car Diagnostic Scanner
That saved you some money
Just a bit lol
A nv 200 is a nightmare to remove dpf.....😂😂....the Qashqai pretty easy😊
Yer that's why I just went in underneath
Get some dipetane now and keep adding it regularly
Can I ask what dipetane is please?
Blimey someone else who has a jackery. use mine in my school bus, as old, and need for phone sat nav etc, as 12 volt not working on my old Transit.
Always come in handy, thanks for commenting buddy.
Nice cheap fix. Gone are the days when you could do most of the repairs yourself with all this computer controls now it becomes a pain in the arse
You are not wrong Nigel, but I did plenty of research and got it done.
Blimey! You did well to fathom that out. Think what garage would have charged you!
TH-camveristy lol, saved me a few quid.
Think I would have used 2 cans of that.
Maybe try removing the DPF yourself mate and clean it that way
