I dig your wheels. I like that you did something different and didn't go with the done-to-death 5-spokes, Torq Thrusts like everyone else does...and didn't upsize to 20" or some-such ridiculous wheels with rubber-band tires.
I saw the Barracuda in Fast and Furious 7, it has the 1972 Cuda tail lights and different hood but many sources says it's a 1970 AAR Cuda. Do you know anything about that? Is there a customization like this for Cuda's?
@@bugraserdarr considering that they only made about 2,700 aars, I doubt it was a real one. The aar had 70, 71 square tail lights, a double sided single hood scoop in the center of the hood, not the j54 double ram air. And of course the graduated hockey stick stripe with the aar emblem. Probably something they patched together for the movie.
@@BLACKWOLF-1911 Thank you for the information sir. That Cuda in the movie looks so nice by the way. I hope one day I’ll have one of that Cuda’s! :) Have you ever driven a Roadrunner before? I really like that muscle too.
I remember that 'cuda from years ago, it was always a show car, now it deserves to be restored back to original!!! Those Cragar wheels, they were cool when they came out in the '80s, Had a set on a '74 Satellite, dressed up as a Roadrunner, well anyways, nice 'cuda, restore the car back to it's natural born look!!! Mopar or no Car!!!
0:50 What is that lump on rear quarter panel behind the wheel? Looks like the paint is bubbling up over rust? Nice color but the white accents ruined it.
This.... this will bring religion to your life. Has there EVER been anything more sexy ever built? The stance, the sound... I must have one! You'll never convince me of a better more sexy item in the world. '71 Cuda, everything else is a fail.
I fell in Love with that car since my granddad drove me to school with his one. i loved that hip swing, you know.. So last year i bought myself one 97 model, I found it in Russia, god knows why they got ist, with a totally broken engine, but rest on best condition. Unrestored and nearly mint, but now i´m looking for a genuine engine just to have that sound. All I found were some restored hemi versions that need to be renewed... I need a V8 brubbling engine! Does anyone got a help or hint for me? I pay for shippimg to belgium, no prob there.
😂😂 wheels got to go. Wheels are outdated. You realize it’s a classic car right? Classic cars/old cars are supposed to have older style/classic style wheels. Putting newer 18”-20” wheels looks absolutely horrible on classic cars, but that is up to the car owner. I’m not going to judge their style. And “outdated”, it’s not a kitchen, it’s a classic car, it’s supposed to look like it’s older.
I agree. I can't stand when I see a '70 Chevelle SS (my dream car that I will have one day...) with wheels that look like a Ferris wheel from from a state fair. Don't mess with perfection, in my opinion.
You could buy a new '71 Cuda on the dealer lot as late as 1973 because these cars (at the time) wereas ugly as AMC Gremlins. The bigger the engine, the harder they were to sell. This guy needs to lose the aftermarket engine and shaker. It sits way to high to be real.
Three things... One, those wheels are terrible looking, so outdated, completely not appealing, they got to go! Two, traction bars don't work on Mopars(thats why they have pinion snubbers) and they will certainly over time cause your axle tubes to twist and distort, they got to go! Three, that garbage you have hanging from the rear view mirror, yep,,, that seriously has to go!! Honesty is the best policy, other than that the car looks good.
'71 Cuda has to be one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen. When I saw the car in the movie Phantasm, I fell in love.
It really is a beautiful car. One of my favorites to photograph.
Yessss it's my dream car, and phantasm is what turned me on it,
@@jamesharrington4923 me too
@@Dingbotz same! 😅
Me too, that car is just as iconic as the characters.
In my opinion, the Chrysler E-body was the pinnacle of styling back then. This is a beautiful car
Beautiful Cuda! Those wheels are perfect for that car.
great looking car and those WHEELS! had those on a 79 Camaro they looked awesome just as they do on this Barracuda.
I like how the back is raised to make sure everyone on the road knows what kind of brakes it has.
This guy is living the dream
WOW, THATS A REAL CAR! John P.
The car of my dreams!

Nice Driveway!!
I had a 70 440 car, they really refined the 71. Beautiful car!

Ever since Phantasm I love this car
Stunning Cuda, matches the house, living the dream is right, imagine what his wife looks like, hehe.
Married isn't living the dream, you are doing time... I would say "imagine what his girlfriends look like" :)
The car's nice, the house is OK. No wife needed.
That's my lotto car, if I ever hit. Modern hemi modern suspension all the tricks.
Yeah! I could be very happy driving that car.
Just perfect I wouldn't do a thing to it.❤❤❤👍👍👍
What a beast! The 3 Musketeers are going for around 6 million at auction. The only ones made with 4 speed transmission
What are you talking about?
That's sick! Love it
Phantasm ‘Cuda……..bad ass.
them wheels looks great on that car , 1:30 i was thinking dont do a burnout please!
MORE CUDA, LESS BUSH AND TREES!!!!!! BEAUTIFUL MOPAR!!!!!!

Phantasm car wow
What a beaut....💪..😍
Living the dream right there
Had a chance to buy one of those in the early 90's. I kick myself every day for not doing it....
I remember someone selling a '69 440 in my area for 20k. It looked like new. It was around 1997. I know the feeling
That's the way molars were in the seventies jack up in the rear and front end low to the ground.
Wow, gorgeous. If you ever want to sell, please let me know I will seriously buy it.
Thank you
car makers need to bring this exact look back with new generation big V8 no turbos no compressors
The government is the problem
All I got is WOW!!!
Fantastic car😅🍢
I can hear the aftermarket cam in that bad boy.
0:50 What is that lump on rear quarter panel behind the wheel? Looks like the paint is bubbling up over rust? Nice color but the white accents ruined it.
I would LOVE to have that car, but I would be so scared to drive it LOL
It takes a day (or less) to get used to. Plain fun after that...
Does your rear end got air shocks ?
Or is it just the wheels and tires that make your rear end look higher than the front ?
Call it a "Combo cuda"!
How many of these Cuda's were built?
Dear Abby ;
Not too shabby !
Teaser!!!
No burnout?
❤
What wheels are you running? They look like early 80’s Cragars.
I think so. I really never paid too much attention to the brand but I do believe they say Cragar on them.
@@jeknechtphotography7106 beautiful car!
@@torekristoffersen176 it really is. I wish I could afford one. Always liked the Barracuda.
Cragar protechs

Whats that house doing in that old ghetto neighborhood?
See boys and girls what hard work can do for you? You too can own a nice home and car if you work hard and don't act entitled.
cudas/challengers have the best rear look
Nah, I believe that title is held by the '69/'70 Chargers. :)

No. At least not that I have heard from the owner at all.
It would make a nice fixer upper...for sure, or sell for junk price,so someone could fix her up.

Yo
that car is not home built, look at the house. that's credit card money.
The house was just the location. The car owner does not live there. Both the home owner and the car owner are friends of mine.

Ruined it. Those wheels and the raised suspension look terrible. They were really nice cars but not jacked up. Yuk.
I disagree. That's how they looked when I was a kid. Perfect stance. Big meats on the back and traction bars. Very 70s and 80s. Looks perfect!!
