I don't normally comment on TH-cam videos, but I felt compelled to leave one for this video. Casey, you remind me so much of my Dad (and I am older than you are!). Your kids are supremely lucky to have you as a father. You are doing a great job teaching them what really matters about hunting. It isn't about the kill, although that is always enjoyable. It is about spending time together and doing the right thing. It is awesome to see them get to experience a great hunt with their Dad and their Uncle Logan. Hats off to you!

This is my favorite type of hunting vid! Getting kids involved and out there enjoying the outdoors. It isnt about the kill or the trophy in that situation at all. In the beginning of the video I know that gas station/convenience store/restaurant. I won’t say where it is because I don’t want to give the unit away but anyhow. But at the store they have quite a few elk mounts in there. My sister-in-laws adopted dad has his elk mount in there it’s supposed to be the biggest one there. When you guys travel through there again ask the clerk which mount is Chuck Hanni’s aka Butch to the locals hopefully the person working there knows. But anyhow. It’s cool. Awesome to see the boys out hunting with their dad. Such awesome memories being made. They will never forget these times spent with you. Thanks for sharing. Take care, see ya :)

I didn't have to take hunter safety until I was 36 years old even though I've been big game hunting since I was 14. My father taught me everything I know about hunting and I 100% would never have taken that shot either. My non-hunting wife is sitting here next to me as I watch this and she said "He's a good dad". I'd say you've done pretty well as that's high praise from her. Keep up the great work.

I realize it's an older video and this has probably been said but you really want your level on the left side. You can open your non scope eye and see if if you flip the mount around. You also can deploy the level with your non shooting hand. Dope video but just a tip for the future! Fair winds and following seas. Semper fi
