I kinda agree and disagree t the same time. Leon and Chris are just the opposite of each other like Yin Yng. Leon is very agile, witty while Chris is sheer force to reckon with. The producer of capcom once said that if Leon and Chris fight, it will be a very close fight and if there was a winner, he can never fight again.

And wesker had a deep sense to prove to Chris he was better that’s why he was just monologuing and taunting him and giving him a chance and throwing him around the place rather than just killing him. He would not toy around with Leon he would end Leon very quickly wesker is stronger and can teleport and dodge bullets and is more agile there’s nothing Leon can do.
