Dude fly fishing is a ton of fun. I fish for bass, crappie and blue gill using a fly rod. With a light action 11’ rod every fish you catch feels like a trophy. Enjoy the hell out of your channel. Thanks for sharing your life.
Your dump truck story speaks volumes to the man you are. You could have easily said, "I sold them". However, you choose to show some humility and were completely transparent. You're proof that tough times never last and tough people do. I myself am on my second company so I know how it feels to put in 14 to 16 hours days to build something up just to have to shut it down. You're a warrior, good sir! Keep up the good work!
Also if you find yourself up north in the Redding area I have a good friend that has cabins and knows some good guides. He could point you in the right direction to rip some lip.
I appreciate that Adam. I love comments like this where people who have been what I'm currently going through can understand what it means that even though you guve it your all sometimes it just doesn't work out but that doesn't mean you should quit. Hope your second company does well. If you don't mind me asking what does your company do?
@@Mr_Get_Muddy I'm an electrical contractor. My first go-around was high-end residential customs. Lots of AV and Lighting control systems. I started that in 2005 at 29 years old. Bought a house in 2007. The idea was to refi in 2009 into a better loan...Well, when that came time the banks refused to refi. Told me I was high risk because I was self-employed. So, regretfully I shut it down to take a job to save the house. They still refused to refi...blah blah blah forclosed 2010, that story is too long. Anyways all history now. About 7 years ago I started up another company. I'm strictly designing, programming, and selling Lutron lighting control systems. It's definitely easier the second time around. It's a bit more work but I keep it just myself and can make a living. Employees are like herding cats and I have a hard time with that. I'm an absolute neat freak when it comes to installation.
That's a tough call, but at least the truck went to someone who is family. I totally understand how you feel with your blue state pushing you out !!! I'm an operating engineer in a blue state where they are pushing this emissions and electric crap down our throats , problem is there is no electric option for our industry that actually work yet 🤔
@Mr_Get_Muddy I'm in one of the 17 other stupid states that signed in to do whatever California does environmental wise . I got 15 more years until I can retire and they want all electric in the next 10 Years , I see no option for a 6 yard excavator that can lift 60 inch rcp drain pipe and manholes and run 12 plus hours a day idk 😐
Oh man I see you're informed a lot of people poke at California and laugh but they don't realize it's coming there way too. I was part of a conference call with a group the other day that I can't name but pretty much they don't know what they are going to do because there backs are against the wall and there is no way that they can meet California's demands. It's gonna be literally impossible to work.
@Mr_Get_Muddy yeah just like the school districts , whatever California decides branches out everywhere !!! I'm in a machine all day everyday so I listen to Glenn beck and Dan bongino ( rip RUSH the greatest ) I listen until I get pissed off then I just listen to the motor all day lol I'm 35 a lot of people my age and younger have no clue what's going on and how much trouble we are actually in
Something else to add to the video, fuel cost were jumping like crazy when we got rid of the dumps, and the rates were not keeping up with operating cost. Also if you know anything about San Diego and driving dump trucks down there, they got you turning and burning all day, and San Diego is full of hills. All that makes for a poor environment if you are an owner operator.
I've only fished in Michigan and Alaska, never fly fishing though, just regular fishing. For obvious reasons, one day, head up to Alaska and fish on the Kenai River. I was blessed to have that opportunity. Check it out! Thanks for the content, brotha! I appreciate how many videos you've produced in the last week and half!
So funny story about these boots..... I bought like 8 pairs of them back when Sears Stores were still in san diego they were on super sale I got them for ridiculously cheap so I dont really care if I trash them but they are just DieHard boots. They work ok for how much you pay for them.
FISHIN CONTENT!LOL. awesome. For smallmouth bass I highly recommend benjamin nowak YT channel. And for largemouth & smallmouth I highly recommend tacticalbassin. Best of the best content/ information for bass fishing. High knowledgeable and tacticalbassin were actually located on clear lake, Cali natives until they moved to Tennessee. You can learn beginner stuff all the way up to what the B.A.S.S. Elites do from their content
Honestly I don't know how anyone that has a business let alone a business that's revolves around diesel engines and jobs that involve environmental studies can afford to stay in business in California. You'll get to where you want to be, probably Montana 😉!
@@Mr_Get_Muddy that's about when they're outlawing all diesel and gas engines and things are going to be even tougher. Ya I live in Idaho exactly 1 hour from Montana and 1 hour from Wyoming. I've lived in Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, Nevada, and I always keep coming back home to Idaho. Lol...
@Get Muddy aww 10 4.. just wondering.. I can underway why you stay in San diego.. I'm from there "santee".I would of loved to stay.. but it's cailfornia
Reason I mentioned the bass fishing youtubers is because California is literally one of the best places to fish it's actually insane the fishery they got. From largemouth, striped bass, salmon, huge trout. It's unfair lol
So I'm no expert in this field so dont have too much room for input but I have heard that a ton of people prefer the wirtgens. This machine has run great the times that I have used it. I heard 👀 now don't know if this is true but there may have been some ideas snagged from wirtgen to build this model lol.
Just put GetMuddy on the front and a pic of ur Pet on the back and you’ll sell them. I’ll buy one. Do a test run with Ryan. Won’t know if you don’t try. 🤷🏼
I would be fairly careful using your truck as a jumper, I know a few people that screwed something up in their electrical on their newer trucks jumping anything over a pickup. My wife was on me for a long while to move to another state and I basically told her if we move I have no connections for anyone or anything, and I'm not a fan of that 🤣

There is a ton of stuff I need to learn but just flipping the rod around is fun I need to get me some waders next

Electric stuff it getting out of control. But ya I figure we only got about 10 years of being able to truck in California before it's impossible.

James hook up with Ryan and sell some merch off his site. Maybe you can sell enough and get one of ur trucks back.
That would be a lot of shirts lol
