@@dareemmanuel6079 the £200 bank switch you cannot get again if you have got it since 2021 (since you are obviously gaming the system and not likely to use Nationwide more frequently). The £100 is basically a loyalty bonus/dividend so they have no problem with paying this every time they feel like it.
Yes, as has many others. There is no time restriction, it's based on how well Nationwide have done the past financial year. They're not a bank they're a building society.

Have to mention seeing all those disappointed with NW comments, its free money so there will be conditions! Atleast they are doing this which many others don't! Definitely disappointed if you don't get it, but their conditions were fair i thought!
If you use them for everyday banking you are getting rewarded. If you are abusing certain things from them, you get diddly squat - fairplay nationwide
Especially as the criteria is the same as last year , they are just crybabies
They withdrew this offer on 4th July so it ran for barely 6 weeks. I missed out on this waiting for the direct debits to take effect on my donor account. I could have really done with that £200 😒
I tried it and got told by nationwide (during their soft credit check) that I'm "not allowed to open another account with them based on my previous history using their account."

you don't have to open a brand new account to get the bonus, just switch from another bank into your existing account and you'll get the £200 :)
@@louismiles2340 they've also blocked the switch in feature on my current account (which had 1p sat in it for months)
That's why I was trying to open another account to circumvent it, sadly they're smarter than some banks

hi i know this switch offer is finish, but out of curiosity can i ask if both me and my husband have each 1 individual current account with nationwide, will we be able to switch 2 individual non nationwide account and 1 joint non nationwide account and be eligible for £600? or do we need to have 2 individual nationwide account and 1 joint nationwide account to be eligible for the £600? thank you
Just spoke to NW. With a joint account who benefitted from the bonus recently, I cannot get the bonus on a personal account

me and my wife have a joint mortgage with nationwide, can I get solo and joint switch bonus(600) ? if I can't, can I do two solo switches then?
Hi, quick question... What if I have a joint Flex account and a joint mortgage account... will we only be able to do it once? (Therefore max £200?). Or can we both do it, perhaps me on the Flex Account and my partner using the Mortgage account?
Also - does the bank we are switching from also have to be a joint account, or will a personal one be fine?

What happens if you just switched a nationwide current account away two days ago and open a 2nd current account now?
Could anyone help me out with the following... If I only have a joint current account with my wife, does this mean we are qualifying members? And we could open a sole account each and use the joint account for the switch enabling £600 in total?

Done loads of switches but haven't experimented with joint switches yet.
If you already have one of those qualifying NW accounts, and you already have the two direct debits coming out of that NW account, would that qualify?
If I have just set up a number of direct debits but they have not yet been debited on the account I am going to switch over into nationwide will it still work?...
Hi Andy, I switched from a Nationwide flex account to Lloyds a few months back. I still have my flex graduate account which is a qualifying account. Am I still eligible for this deal if I closed a flex account and then look to open another one back up or should I open a different account just to be safe? Thanks

I've been with "The Cheshire" i.e. Nationwide for 20+ years, and I've only just caught on to this dividend reward today! I've only ever had a building society / ISA, not a current account. I've set one up now and also the member's 18 month fixed term saving account. Pretty p'ed off I've missed out on the £100 though.
So when you switch accounts, do you have to close your entire bank account with the the other people, or just the current account? I have a save to buy ISA and a digital saver 6.5% with natwest and don't want to lose them if I switch?
You need to do a switching service from.another provider to nationwide to receive the 200. You'll have to check what your terms are with natwestv
@@Goady1000 Well, I just set up a plum DD and deposited £1 to may PP account... let's hope those payments go through as DD in the next 3-4 working days and I'll go for it!
Thanks Andy. I left a question on your Facebook page but, I received an automated response. My question is simple, I am eligible, but the account I am looking to switch from has Plum as one of the Direct Debits. I wanted to know, would that Plum DD switch along during the process?
If your question is simple you're probably best off Googling it or reading the T&Cs than asking someone too busy to answer simple questions you should be able to understand
With the Nationwide Building Society 18 Month fixed savings account paying 5.50% interest, do you have to wait the whole 18 months to receive your interest payment on a maximum savings of £10,000?
Yes, “We'll pay the interest on the anniversary of the date you opened your account (regardless of when the account was funded), at the end of the term, and on the day your account closes”

Honestly if you found that confusing just give up, you'll never manage to cope with Google and then reading a terms and conditions page
Haha! It’s the ‘must open or already have a current account’ but I thought it was only open to current customers? Then it says the old account must be from a different bank? So yeah.. confusing!
Last year, my wife and I separately opened a Flex Direct account and received a total switch bonus of £400. Can we apply for another joint account this time to receive the £200 bonus? I'm a bit confused and would appreciate clarification.

NW far too many conditions to avoid a payout to all its members of course....

Hate how Nationwide’s offers are based on what’s happened in the past and not something you can actually influence now, like almost every other bank’s offers

Very easy to meet if their your bank, of not your bank then good job on Nationwide for rewarding loyal customers. Much rather they paid 300 and nor 200 to new customers

All you need is a current account and savings of more than £100 , hardly “full of hoops” lol
@@Narrowsplice Unfortunately you have failed to read the deal correctly, in addition you have to hold a savings account or mortgage with a 100 in or owing along with a flex account etc to get the 100cash. A regular banker will not get the 100 if only holding a current account.
