"Big releases" vs underground seems arbitrary these days. I've certainly heard of Ghost Bath and 1914 before, but never heard of Blood Red Throne or Kowloon Walled City. I guess it depends on what the Algorithm thinks you want.
Another band that released a world war I themed album this year is Kanonenfieber: a shellshock of a record with a cover i hope Blayne will find awesome!
Missed out on the new Antichrist Siege Machine record LP. Any band that can make "war metal" that sounds refreshing with good production that isn't overly clean sounding deserves some spotlight.
