In the last 50 years of listening to a wide range of musical artists both live and on records I can safely say with the utmost confidence that Angelina is one of(if not the best) female artist I have ever heard.
Doing a cover of a huge song from a huge artist that arguably has the most strong fanatical followers is already a huge challenge. Making an almost new song out of it is already stepping on a danger zone. But Angelina took all the risk with this one and made this old classic song current while still paying homage to the one and only King of music. She made a whole new story telling but still brought it back home where it does belong. It was a throwback yet very much of a present time. Great visuals and damn great vocals. And the piano of course...amazing production.
Couldn't agree more. Her bravery is astounding in a 16 year old. One could argue when she was younger she didnt really understand the risks she took. Now she does and still she just sticks her heart and soul all out there, on the line.
All I got to say- I cried from the first note till the last! First, this brought back memories of my youth so many years ago, of listening to Elvis every minute I could, of going to his movies, going to a couple of his concerts, and luckily getting to meet him! To me he was the best! That is till 8 years ago and I heard a little 8 year old Angelina doing things with her voice that should not have been possible. She is now (IMHO) THE BEST EVER!! Absolutely awesome. I am 75 years old and I live in Melbourne Australia which has the unenviable reputation of being the longest locked down city in the world during COVID. I discovered Angelina on hearing her on AGT in 2020. Since then I have listened to her every day. It gave me something to look forward to and kept me sane. I wish her the best and I know that she will eventually get the mainstream world wide attention she deserves.

Doing a cover of a huge song from a huge artist that arguably has the most strong fanatical followers is already a huge challenge. Making an almost new song out of it is already stepping on a danger zone. But Angelina took all the risk with this one and made this old classic song current while still paying homage to the one and only King of music. She made a whole new story telling but still brought it back home where it does belong. It was a throwback yet very much of a present time. Great visuals and damn great vocals. And the piano of course...amazing production.
Couldn't agree more. Her bravery is astounding in a 16 year old. One could argue when she was younger she didnt really understand the risks she took. Now she does and still she just sticks her heart and soul all out there, on the line.
All I got to say- I cried from the first note till the last! First, this brought back memories of my youth so many years ago, of listening to Elvis every minute I could, of going to his movies, going to a couple of his concerts, and luckily getting to meet him! To me he was the best! That is till 8 years ago and I heard a little 8 year old Angelina doing things with her voice that should not have been possible. She is now (IMHO) THE BEST EVER!! And this song is now the best she has ever done!

I am 75 years old and I live in Melbourne Australia which has the unenviable reputation of being the longest locked down city in the world during COVID.
I discovered Angelina on hearing her on AGT in 2020. Since then I have listened to her every day.
It gave me something to look forward to and kept me sane. I wish her the best and I know that she will eventually get the mainstream world wide attention she deserves.
Maybe not a random thing , Angelina giving us joy and happiness when the world needed it most. I’m 66 I live in Northern California.
