Anthony, or anyone, what does "remove" mean in the Copy Settings dialog? I have looked everywhere and Googled, but I can't find it or what it does. I've checked it a couple of times, but it seems to do nothing. It would not be there if it didn't have a purpose.
Do we know how to reset the heal and clone tools? Previously if you used the heal tool…. but wanted to change it to clone all you had to do is click on the clone tool and it would change to clone. Now if you use heal and want to use clone you have to delete your heal action first and now edit it as a clone option. It was so much easier before. I have Lightroom classic ty
Say you use the heal tool, after you apply it, a box will open in the tool settings on the right, directly below the Size and Feather sliders called, "Selected". Inside of there is a dropdown where you can change it to Clone, Remove, or Generative Remove.
@ thank you! It was just so much easier before. If you were using the heal tool…… but changed your mind ….. which I do a lot….depending on which tool works better…. all you had to do was click clone while in heal and it would change automatically without having to delete heal first. I will try your suggestion ty
Thankyou for the information. I havve been having terrible problems with the sync feature taking days to work. I have just hit the button and guess what, its all ok now. I will keep this video for future use and share with t my friends. Brilliant
@@AnthonyMorgantiwait a minute... You can hit the Copy button, then select all in the filmstrip, Paste and it will work the same way as Sync but not take so long??
It might be a Mac only thing, I'm not sure but with it, you can check your spelling and grammar in any text field in the metadata. For example, in the metadata, you can add a caption and check the spelling.
@ Thank you for your reply. Yes, this must be Mac, there is nothing corresponding to this on the PC. Lack of spell checking and poor searching of keywords has long been a shortcoming of using Lightroom as one’s DAM. Even the most basic apps provide spell checking and better search capabilities: it is beyond comprehension why Adobe has never addressed these basic issues.
When I use Topaz Auto AI currently Every time I process an image when it finishes and it returns to LRc I get a message saying that Topaz failed and quoted an error code. It seems to have worked but it is really annoying and I am not sure if it has fully done the job. Any ideas?
I didn't realize what those copy/paste buttons did. I just did "copy settings" under whatever tab it's under. Recently learned about the sync button, too. So that's pretty helpful, will have to try those buttons out.
Can you do a tutorial on how to contact Adobe, I had to once it took me three days of telling a bot I needed to speak to a human before it finally let me.😠
Yeah, getting help from Adobe is a pain. In the U.S. you can call 800-833-6687 - that number may work in other countries too - I'm not sure. What might work better is posting your problem to the Adobe community. There are a lot of experts there including Adobe reps: community.adobe.com

Excellent ❤ I remember Jesus Ramirez finding a hidden banana in Photoshop once. I hope you find one in Lightroom some day 😃
Usually around April 1st, Adobe puts an Easter Egg in LrC. I've yet to find one myself.
I loved you saying "copy dadada"!!!
The first stuff on preferences. I think they soudn't be hidden
I agree. Nothing will get broken if you click on them so I'm not sure of Adobe's logic.

Thank you! Still surprise to see someone using Lightroom Classic. I got ride of it since 2 years. Much happier with no catalog or sync issues!
The Catalog is still a pain in the neck.

What is the “spelling” option at the foot of the Edit menu which can briefly be seen here?

There's a bug with Topaz that they're aware of and I hope will fix soon.
@AnthonyMorganti Thanks ... I have updated it a couple of times and it still occurs. I hope they do rectify it.
