That's a 1.375 threw spindle dia, also is able to be modified easy by boring out the short spindle. Also if your electric ever want out, it's a easy modification to turn that back into a foot power lathe. That lathe is a fantastic gunsmith lathe, easy spindle bearing fix's, cuts great threads, looks like a 12" swing and 56" between centers, locking cabinet drowers, takes up small space.. Collects works great on that lathe also. If you got it free you gotten a great deal, I paid $750 for mine many years ago, it's been working fantastic for me. Just saying !

How do you lock the choke on a Sheldon Lake from the 40s
