I totally understand your reasoning not to have therapy days. We all need to remember you can only do so much. I was so worried for you both, you were spreading yourself so thin! Luke looked exhausted. The daycare pack of course will be missed, but as you stated they those dogs have incredible homes! Anyone who is upset with Luke and Sam decision may I offer you volunteer your time in animal shelter and do some good! I’m extremely thankful for Luke and Sam sharing their lives, saving dogs that would be put down, they changed their whole lives to do this! I’ve been in rescue for 25 years, the amount of stress you feel when rehabilitating a dog you will never understand until you personally do it. On behalf of your fans, we thank and love your family!
I volunteer at a local animal shelter and while it is sad that there are so many dogs and cats that need to be adopted, I know I am making a difference by being there to love on them and try to make them feel wanted. I wish I could take them all home but just knowing I am making a difference, no matter how small, is so rewarding! 😊
Beautifully said so thankyou. I will miss the Dashies so maybe they'll come and stay. I'm hoping that one day the Farm can have more baby puppies but I know it's a huge cost in people power etc but when we look at the happy lives of Miss Red, Violet, Waffles, Django, Buddy and of course the triplets it's clear its best to begin expert care in the first weeks of life but to do this Sam and Luke require 30 hour days rather than the 20 or so they currently work. Until then I'll watch the dashies' video and buy some lottery tickets.

The longer the better, they are all intensely interesting on so many levels, especially for those of us who have been with you for ages, watching all the dogs incredible progress. Sam, I'm loving the longer videos. They are way better than the majority of television programmes that are on. They have the characters, humour, heart pumping drama, love, empathy and above all kindness from these precious Doggies as well as all the Humans at The Farm. Love them.
As someone who discovered the videos while they were going through chemo, I can echo how important the positivity and joy of the farm was to my recovery. Thank you for all you do for the dogs and sharing your experience.
Listening to Luke talk about the lady who lost her niece recently to cancer made me think of my brother who just passed on the 10th of this month. We would watch the videos posted together, he realllllly liked Roscoe most of all. Was very impressed with him. Tomorrow, the 25th of October would have been his 65th birthday. He is sorely missed but watching these videos from above and loving all the dogs. @@nshpbh I too have TH-cam Premium and looked it up. They (in this case The Farm) get credit for your views even though you do not get the ads (TH-cam gets the income from the premium). So just watch the video to the end and click the like button. You are supporting them.

You put it so well, Tracey! It’s exactly how I feel. Each time I see a long video, I feel a delicious sense of anticipation. I may not have the time to go through it all immediately but I know it’s something to look forward to later in the day. Meanwhile, if I’m busy, I will just let the video run and let the ads play right through. And the fact that it’s minimally edited makes it feel like you’re really there at the farm, moving along with Luke, Sam or the family and all the dogs, spending some time together, having a bit of a chat. I love it. ❤️🐾
We need the thousands that have not found this channel to find it. Besides watching ads making comments and liking the videos make these videos move up on the algorithm so they appear in more feeds.
I have to admit that I have noticed Hope looking towards the other dogs for guidance and company, she may have been giving Faith comfort instead of the other way round but she has certainly started to be a more rounded member of the pack, which is such good news for her, love them all 😍🐕❤️
That is very possible. They had been through so much together and dogs can sense when another is sick. At the Farm they were allowed to take care if each other. Now Hope can heal herself.
Dear Luke and Sam,l have said before that you don’t need to explain to us about the decisions you have to make. Dedicated people often stretch themselves far too thin because they feel they have to keep giving. That’s what makes you so special. As you said and as we have seen and understand rescue dogs need so much more time and training and as this is always what you have wanted to do it’s great that you have decided to focus all your attention in this direction. Having watched the transformations in the rescue dogs that have come to the farm so far it is easy to understand just how important this is to you. Dogs who haven’t been given a good start in life or have been abused deserve the chance to become the best dogs and have the best life they can and without people like you this just doesn’t happen. Your videos are amazing,short or long they have a special place in so many peoples hearts and give so much joy to so many around the world. You give your best to all dogs in your care which in turn gives so many a huge sense of peace and you make us feel we are all a part of the Farm. Thank you so much for everything you do❤️❤️

Don't forget that Freddo totally nailed that top job down when he saved Elle in the pool! Besides being sheriff and top canine dog (Luke's consigliere), he also showed strong super-hero tendencies! (Barney's name tells it all - he's Barney Fife. One of the most beloved characters in American situation comedies. Nobody wanted to be sheriff more than Barney - but he just kept coming up a bit short.)

Having a chronic illness, it's easy to focus too much on what we can't do anymore. Watching your videos, reminds me to remember what I can still do. Especially the dogs with special needs.
That's very much something I take away from watching The Farm...a couple of my heroes are Shadow and Tilly...when I see how much happiness they squeeze out of each day, despite their pain or troubled histories...I realize I could be doing the same. 💚🧡💙

These long videos are a definite treat. I'm retired so finding time to watch them is no problem. Kitty Rose is a delightful addition to the pack and her antics bring me great joy. Can't wait to see her out sky diving in her new back pack on Luke's back! Luke, that was funny! The Farm videos are an integral part of my daily life especially in my attempt to find positivity in a world that has gone upside down in the past couple years. I refuse to give energy to that. You do the entire world a huge service. I appreciate hearing your explanations of all the changes you have made - pros and cons - as you go along. I've followed probably for 2 years and have been a member for 1 year (yaay...a Charlie badge which I love because when I started watching Charlie was sadly nearing his end days and I grew to love him and frankly dread when he would pass. So it's an honor to wear his badge.) As I have to do when one of mine has to go and I've lost many, I grieve for The Farm's dogs, too. The remaining pack helps ease some of that because Life marches on regardless of our grief. I joined when you started taking on the rehab of the first shelter dogs knowing it required income to feed them. Sam, I kindly and respectfully would ask of you to not feel the need to apologize so often for the decisions you and Luke make on a daily basis on how best to run The Farm. No One on Earth compares to what you two have been offering therefore No One can completely know the position you are in. You keep adapting and adjusting which are admirable qualities. I was staggered at the cost incurred for the weekly Therapy Day! Obviously, that personal cost is not sustainable. Your commitment and conscientiousness make you 2 very special irreplaceable people. I admit that I sure do miss some of the DDFT dogs yet will see some who come to holiday. And who knows what will come next? I can rewatch older videos and the new series that Ben has been producing. Thank you for the special attention given to Rover on this last shelter day out. He's a handsome smart responsive boy given a badly diagnosed rap...I would adopt him in a heart beat if I lived on your continent. lol Lastly, thank you to the gift givers with special shout out to the New Jerseyites as I AM a Jerseyite living In Pennsylvania. Firstly, long videos are a bonus for me. I love them! Secondly, I respect any decision that you make in regard to how The Farm will be run. It is your call, and we have no right to be critical in any shape or form. We are not living your lives 24/7. You have to consider family, dogs, yourselves & your future & make the best decisions for all concerned. I'm sure most of your subscribers understand this. Sure, I'll miss seeing the therapy pack, but that is me being selfish. As you said, those dogs are already living their best lives. Hopefully, lots of them will come for holidays with you. I agree!! I at least get to see some of my favorites that I follow on Instagram and saw yesterday on Instagram that Adam is trying to get his day care started. Bella, Koda & Buddy mentioned it.
I am glad the longer videos are helping out. The financial benefit is a real bonus. Less editing allows more time and energy for the other important parts of your lives. The shorter more planned videos are good, but these longer videos I feel show us more of the real Sam and Luke and the true workings of the farm.
Oh, don't apologise for the longer format videos, I've learnt so much from this channel about working with and relating to my own doggos that having more to watch is an absolute joy.
My husband and I often talk about many dogs. We know most by their names and know their personality traits. We celebrate their achievements and shed tears when one crosses the Rainbow Bridge because they became part of our extended family.
Looks like Hope has adopted Sam, she is so relaxed with her ,and Chance has adopted Luke and the way he always looks at Luke with so much love. It is so wonderful to see so much love coming from the dogs.
Yes, and it is so wonderful to see her having an easier time going through gates and interacting with humans and other dogs. She is a little more relaxed everyday.

Seeing these beautiful, innocent, funny creatures happy - makes me happy too - of all the rescue channels I'm subscribed to - 'The Farm' and 'Takis shelter' are my favourites - both make you feel like part of the family and give a renewed faith in the goodness of much of humanity - 'Takis shelter' (in Crete) has so many characters too ----- although all animal rescuers are heroes in my opinion --- best wishes from Sussex UK🙂🙂🐺🐺
I’m 80 and don’t consider myself old! But, what I do is take care of friends pets when they go on vacations. We don’t have much access to animal care facilities up here in the mountains, so having them in my home is like being in their home! Besides it gives me a chance to talk to someone other than myself!

That coat and matching collar was a pretty color on Chance. He looked so dapper. I couldn't help but laugh anytime Wolf gets near water, in a bucket, in a puddle, it doesn't matter. He doesn't need toys to keep him busy - just water. Another entertaining video. I also enjoy seeing what people send. Those collars for the staffie sisters were gorgeous! I have never seen such pretty ones. With the rate those two go through collars (with all their collar wrestling) they are going to need every single one of them. I have never seen so many well dressed dogs. Freddo must has a whole closet of bow ties. 🙂
Don't apologise for the longer videos. It is lovely to have them watch in the background. Do not worry about the chatting, for some of us it might be the only smile that they get. For people who live alone, it is can be comforting to just listen to a conversation that is normal and to feel part of a family. You are not just helping the dogs but for some, the side effect could merely be feeling connected to something. Life is difficult right now and watching dogs who live in the moment. I love the comment from Mum worrying about Miss Violet and Dad saying 'she' is fine' is something that parents all over the world can understand 😀 Happens a lot in my house😀😀😀 The sheriff routine was fabulous 😁

I liked the comment someone put in their letter about the squeaky toys on the channel making their dog want to play. My energy level and schedule prevent me from having dogs. But I can say my cats are no longer bothered by dogs barking which makes vet visits a lot less stressful for them.
I have a very close attachment seeing Wolfie and dad (Luke) together. I often got nicknamed at school Wolfie & I was very close with my dad.. so seeing “Wolfie & dad “ together always brings very special memories for me ❤💙
Tilly, Lily, Billie, and Millie, is this a rock band? Chopper’s ears are starting to go full on kelpie, while Tank is staying with staffy ears. Miss Violet is testing her capabilities and proving that she can run with and swim with the big dogs. Will Sam survive Miss V’s independence? Chance really just wants pats and cuddles, not that interested in running around. Needs an owner with a big couch and a big lap for the big marshmallow.
i think chance is savoring the flavor of being out, free in the wind, smelling the trees, playing in dirt etc. marshmallow, for sure, definitely a couch candidate, snuggled up watching tv. 😂
You can post any length unedited vids for as long as you want, love them, hopefully nothing shorter than 1.5 hrs would be good. Wolfie has turned into a Golden Retriever
Watching this video today was great as we hear much more of how you started and different avenues you nearly took..but to hear that you were surprised to find out just how much your video help so many around the globe..into today's world when is such crap on social media and with everything else that is so negative in the world I totally understand why so many get joy and happiness..and sometimes sadness from Watching you all at the farm..its real..its authentic and so much love,care and joy ..its refreshing that there are folks you you both ..its therapy Watching the doggies..brings me joy every day that I can watch the videos. When I see a long video, I know I won’t be having dinner and spending the evening alone. Long or short I enjoy every one, but there is a naturalness to to your dialogue and interaction that is so refreshing. I got so mesmerized watching vet day I couldn’t remember if I ate my dinner. I’m sure negative comments are inevitable - that’s our society - but for heaven’s sake, blow them off! Poof! In the bin. I believe Freddy has taught Wolfie the love of mud puddles. No such thing as too long of a video. Love all of them, long, short, edited, unedited, just please don't stop.

I know we're going to miss seeing the Therapy Group gang but as always, your attention is on the dogs in your care, and their special needs. Dear Bandit might not be as nimble as he was, but he's got all his marbles and doesn't miss a trick when treats and squeaky things are around. @@amandatolleson7740 I love when they show us their local wildlife. Their cockatoos are our "exotic birds" here. Our area has managed to acquire a "wild" flock of small green parrots. Someone's pets got loose and we now have several hundred in our city. But about a dozen frequently visit our bottle-brush tree. They love to steal the blooms and sit on the power lines to eat them. The driveway is then covered with red stems after they've been here.

I also like the longer videos and all the chances you have to explain how you train and care for dogs and the bases for your decisions. The two of you do a remarkable job of taking on these difficult dogs and giving them what they need for a loving, forever home. I totally agree with your reasoning. You would support and look after a 100 dogs if it was a viable option...but it is not...you have to live in the real world and give the best you can for those you can. We all can see why you want to focus on the shelter and rescue dogs and why that means sacrifices in other ways such as day care and wider therapy support groups. Thank you so much for all you do to give care love and support to the dogs you can. And thank you for sharing the videos to all those who follow them and get so much from them. Hopefully this will be a journey we will all share together for many more years to come 😁❤️
I had to laugh about Freddo and his protective fence run. My Jack Russell used to sit on my daughters lap in the car, she'd get out, shut the door and if she touched the door again he'd attack the window like he'd never seen her before 🤣🤣 re Therapy days, you have your own therapy pack now and they have "been there, done that" you can see how they approach the shelter dogs differently.
You just reminded me of something I'd forgotten. My Uncle, he was hard of hearing, if you touched his arm so he knew you were talking to him, his dog would go into total protection mode barking. The funny part was if my Uncle grabbed his own ankle, the dog would go to total protection mode barking frantically as well. That dog went with him everywhere. We went to the local diner. Before going inside my Uncle would flip the leash over the newspaper stand outside the door and his dog would lay down under the newspaper stand outside the restaurant. He never had to tie him or tell him to stay. His dog just did.
I can certainly relate to your mixed feelings. I will miss many of the dogs from the day care who have helped me smile and "de-stress" these past few years. But you must do what's right for you and your dogs. You have not lost a fan or a member. God bless Miss Violet and Wolf. I love their philosophies of life. Investigate everything, don't be afraid to to dive into a dam or a pool or splash in mud puddles or get dirty, you might find gold like the old time miners did. Walk, run without fear while you still have mom and dad to catch you if you fall, you will learn to never give up when you're older and that scrapes and bruises are part of life. Most important, laugh while you walk, laugh while you run, watch the birds and the sunrise with wonder and never forget to love your pack. I bring you tube up on my large tv and my 4 dogs watch the videos. They love all the barking, ball chasing and my old (13 yrs) German shepherd Zeus LOVES watching Ms, Lily dance with her sticks. It is the craziest thing to see. LOL
I’m amazed by the way Miss Violet is taking to the water. She scares me every time, but also makes me feel proud and happy for her. She’s fearless and loving life to the max! 💜

I have just been reading through some of these heartfelt comments. I 100% agree with them. One other thing I would say is take care of yourselves and your family. This wouldn't be happening without you and would be the saddest thing. This morning i woke at 5am and was worrying about things. I turned on my tablet and found the video about Rover. His transformation in Luke's hands is truly wonderful. To see him playing amongst, and with, some of the pack is magical. He might give some of them a run for their money with the quad bike. so by the looks of things Wolfie is loves puddles just as much as the dogs do. At least there are baths and a washing machine. And then Evie joins in. Happy days!
I'm sad that there is no dog therapy day anymore, but I understand. And I hope all former therapy dogs doing bordering for 2 days or more for holiday. Super for them and for us to see them again. 🤩
Just one more note - I wanted to thank you all for these long videos! When I see a 2-hour video coming from the farm I feel like it's a great Christmas present! I work from home and now I'm late starting quite often because my favorite way of starting each day is by watching your videos while munching on a breakfast of egg and cheese burritos and sausage links - washed down with lots of coffee. It makes me smile just to think of it! I was just wondering - do you still allow the shelter to bring their dogs down on Fridays? I was hoping to be able to meet some more potential adoptees.

I totally understand your reasoning not to have therapy days. We all need to remember you can only do so much. I was so worried for you both, you were spreading yourself so thin! Luke looked exhausted. The daycare pack of course will be missed, but as you stated they those dogs have incredible homes! Anyone who is upset with Luke and Sam decision may I offer you volunteer your time in animal shelter and do some good! I’m extremely thankful for Luke and Sam sharing their lives, saving dogs that would be put down, they changed their whole lives to do this! I’ve been in rescue for 25 years, the amount of stress you feel when rehabilitating a dog you will never understand until you personally do it. On behalf of your fans, we thank and love your family!

I volunteer at a local animal shelter and while it is sad that there are so many dogs and cats that need to be adopted, I know I am making a difference by being there to love on them and try to make them feel wanted. I wish I could take them all home but just knowing I am making a difference, no matter how small, is so rewarding! 😊
Beautifully said so thankyou. I will miss the Dashies so maybe they'll come and stay. I'm hoping that one day the Farm can have more baby puppies but I know it's a huge cost in people power etc but when we look at the happy lives of Miss Red, Violet, Waffles, Django, Buddy and of course the triplets it's clear its best to begin expert care in the first weeks of life but to do this Sam and Luke require 30 hour days rather than the 20 or so they currently work. Until then I'll watch the dashies' video and buy some lottery tickets.
I had no idea the stress rescue work was until I started to do it. I get so upset at humans. Dogs deserve so much more from us humans.

Listening to Luke talk about the lady who lost her niece recently to cancer made me think of my brother who just passed on the 10th of this month. We would watch the videos posted together, he realllllly liked Roscoe most of all. Was very impressed with him. Tomorrow, the 25th of October would have been his 65th birthday. He is sorely missed but watching these videos from above and loving all the dogs. Thank you, Luke and Sam and all of your helpers for what you do with these dogs and your own and of course miss kitty too! Hugs from Cabot Arkansas USA!

You put it so well, Tracey! It’s exactly how I feel. Each time I see a long video, I feel a delicious sense of anticipation. I may not have the time to go through it all immediately but I know it’s something to look forward to later in the day. Meanwhile, if I’m busy, I will just let the video run and let the ads play right through.

I have to admit that I have noticed Hope looking towards the other dogs for guidance and company, she may have been giving Faith comfort instead of the other way round but she has certainly started to be a more rounded member of the pack, which is such good news for her, love them all 😍🐕❤️
That is very possible. They had been through so much together and dogs can sense when another is sick. At the Farm they were allowed to take care if each other. Now Hope can heal herself.

Dear Luke and Sam,l have said before that you don’t need to explain to us about the decisions you have to make.
Dedicated people often stretch themselves far too thin because they feel they have to keep giving.
That’s what makes you so special.
As you said and as we have seen and understand rescue dogs need so much more time and training and as this is always what you have wanted to do it’s great that you have decided to focus all your attention in this direction.
Having watched the transformations in the rescue dogs that have come to the farm so far it is easy to understand just how important this is to you.
Dogs who haven’t been given a good start in life or have been abused deserve the chance to become the best dogs and have the best life they can and without people like you this just doesn’t happen.
Your videos are amazing,short or long they have a special place in so many peoples hearts and give so much joy to so many around the world.
You give your best to all dogs in your care which in turn gives so many a huge sense of peace and you make us feel we are all a part of the Farm.

Don't forget that Freddo totally nailed that top job down when he saved Elle in the pool! Besides being sheriff and top canine dog (Luke's consigliere), he also showed strong super-hero tendencies! (Barney's name tells it all - he's Barney Fife. One of the most beloved characters in American situation comedies. Nobody wanted to be sheriff more than Barney - but he just kept coming up a bit short.)

These long videos are a definite treat. I'm retired so finding time to watch them is no problem. Kitty Rose is a delightful addition to the pack and her antics bring me great joy. Can't wait to see her out sky diving in her new back pack on Luke's back! Luke, that was funny! The Farm videos are an integral part of my daily life especially in my attempt to find positivity in a world that has gone upside down in the past couple years. I refuse to give energy to that. You do the entire world a huge service.
I appreciate hearing your explanations of all the changes you have made - pros and cons - as you go along. I've followed probably for 2 years and have been a member for 1 year (yaay...a Charlie badge which I love because when I started watching Charlie was sadly nearing his end days and I grew to love him and frankly dread when he would pass. So it's an honor to wear his badge.) As I have to do when one of mine has to go and I've lost many, I grieve for The Farm's dogs, too. The remaining pack helps ease some of that because Life marches on regardless of our grief. I joined when you started taking on the rehab of the first shelter dogs knowing it required income to feed them.
Sam, I kindly and respectfully would ask of you to not feel the need to apologize so often for the decisions you and Luke make on a daily basis on how best to run The Farm. No One on Earth compares to what you two have been offering therefore No One can completely know the position you are in. You keep adapting and adjusting which are admirable qualities. I was staggered at the cost incurred for the weekly Therapy Day! Obviously, that personal cost is not sustainable. Your commitment and conscientiousness make you 2 very special irreplaceable people.
I admit that I sure do miss some of the DDFT dogs yet will see some who come to holiday. And who knows what will come next? I can rewatch older videos and the new series that Ben has been producing.
Thank you for the special attention given to Rover on this last shelter day out. He's a handsome smart responsive boy given a badly diagnosed rap...I would adopt him in a heart beat if I lived on your continent. lol

It is your call, and we have no right to be critical in any shape or form. We are not living your lives 24/7. You have to consider family, dogs, yourselves & your future & make the best decisions for all concerned. I'm sure most of your subscribers understand this. Sure, I'll miss seeing the therapy pack, but that is me being selfish. As you said, those dogs are already living their best lives. Hopefully, lots of them will come for holidays with you. I’m 80 and don’t consider myself old! But, what I do is take care of friends pets when they go on vacations. We don’t have much access to animal care facilities up here in the mountains, so having them in my home is like being in their home! Besides it gives me a chance to talk to someone other than myself!

That coat and matching collar was a pretty color on Chance. He looked so dapper. I couldn't help but laugh anytime Wolf gets near water, in a bucket, in a puddle, it doesn't matter. He doesn't need toys to keep him busy - just water. Another entertaining video. I also enjoy seeing what people send. Those collars for the staffie sisters were gorgeous! I have never seen such pretty ones. With the rate those two go through collars (with all their collar wrestling) they are going to need every single one of them. I have never seen so many well dressed dogs. Freddo must has a whole closet of bow ties. 🙂

You are not just helping the dogs but for some, the side effect could merely be feeling connected to something. Life is difficult right now and watching dogs who live in the moment.

I liked the comment someone put in their letter about the squeaky toys on the channel making their dog want to play. My energy level and schedule prevent me from having dogs. But I can say my cats are no longer bothered by dogs barking which makes vet visits a lot less stressful for them.

Long or short I enjoy every one, but there is a naturalness to to your dialogue and interaction that is so refreshing. I got so mesmerized watching vet day I couldn’t remember if I ate my dinner. I’m sure negative comments are inevitable - that’s our society - but for heaven’s sake, blow them off! Poof! In the bin. I love that padded overstuffed couch sound whenever Luke pats Chance on his barrel belly❤. Hope’s cares have been lifted off her shoulders. One day she will only remember the love and kindness good people will give. Wolfie loves water too.

Has Freddy given him tips on how to find the best puddles? 😂 I love watching the dogs just be, sniffing, running, crawling, digging, playing and seeing them live their best lives, knowing that they are all learning how to grow with your help, love and training 😍
I believe Freddy has taught Wolfie the love of mud puddles. No such thing as too long of a video. Love all of them, long, short, edited, unedited, just please don't stop.

It's so lovely to see, she's finally having the life she should have had and now living it for her Mum as she no longer can!! I know we're going to miss seeing the Therapy Group gang but as always, your attention is on the dogs in your care, and their special needs. Also, a lot of the gang are on Instagram and can be followed on there. Dear Bandit might not be as nimble as he was, but he's got all his marbles and doesn't miss a trick when treats and squeaky things are around. Lovely video with so many precious bits, and the classic ending with the kids playing in the mud instead of the dogs. Thank you Luke and Sam 🥰

Hope's joy to be free and safe - no words. Freddo and Roscoe - the Sheriff's in town! Billie's Farm adventure - always an experience for her. Barny's Sheriff in training course - enthusiasm extraordinaire and ever hopeful. @@amandatolleson7740 I love when they show us their local wildlife. Their cockatoos are our "exotic birds" here. Our area has managed to acquire a "wild" flock of small green parrots. Someone's pets got loose and we now have several hundred in our city. But about a dozen frequently visit our bottle-brush tree. They love to steal the blooms and sit on the power lines to eat them. The driveway is then covered with red stems after they've been here.

I also like the longer videos and all the chances you have to explain how you train and care for dogs and the bases for your decisions. The two of you do a remarkable job of taking on these difficult dogs and giving them what they need for a loving, forever home. You always work so hard to make sure your children and the dogs get the love and support they need. Thank you for all the joy and love you bring to all of us,
I totally agree with your reasoning. You would support and look after a 100 dogs if it was a viable option...but it is not...you have to live in the real world and give the best you can for those you can. We all can see why you want to focus on the shelter and rescue dogs and why that means sacrifices in other ways such as day care and wider therapy support groups. Thank you so much for all you do to give care love and support to the dogs you can. And thank you for sharing the videos to all those who follow them and get so much from them. Hopefully this will be a journey we will all share together for many more years to come 😁❤️
I had to laugh about Freddo and his protective fence run. My Jack Russell used to sit on my daughters lap in the car, she'd get out, shut the door and if she touched the door again he'd attack the window like he'd never seen her before 🤣🤣 re Therapy days, you have your own therapy pack now and they have "been there, done that" you can see how they approach the shelter dogs differently.
You just reminded me of something I'd forgotten. My Uncle, he was hard of hearing, if you touched his arm so he knew you were talking to him, his dog would go into total protection mode barking. The funny part was if my Uncle grabbed his own ankle, the dog would go to total protection mode barking frantically as well. That dog went with him everywhere. We went to the local diner. Before going inside my Uncle would flip the leash over the newspaper stand outside the door and his dog would lay down under the newspaper stand outside the restaurant. He never had to tie him or tell him to stay. His dog just did.

I can certainly relate to your mixed feelings. I will miss many of the dogs from the day care who have helped me smile and "de-stress" these past few years. But you must do what's right for you and your dogs. You have not lost a fan or a member. God bless Miss Violet and Wolf. I love their philosophies of life. Investigate everything, don't be afraid to to dive into a dam or a pool or splash in mud puddles or get dirty, you might find gold like the old time miners did. Walk, run without fear while you still have mom and dad to catch you if you fall, you will learn to never give up when you're older and that scrapes and bruises are part of life. Most important, laugh while you walk, laugh while you run, watch the birds and the sunrise with wonder and never forget to love your pack. May God continue to bless all of you as you continue your journey.

I bring you tube up on my large tv and my 4 dogs watch the videos. They love all the barking, ball chasing and my old (13 yrs) German shepherd Zeus LOVES watching Ms, Lily dance with her sticks. It is the craziest thing to see. LOL

I have just been reading through some of these heartfelt comments. I 100% agree with them. One other thing I would say is take care of yourselves and your family. This wouldn't be happening without you and would be the saddest thing. This morning i woke at 5am and was worrying about things. I turned on my tablet and found the video about Rover. His transformation in Luke's hands is truly wonderful. To see him playing amongst, and with, some of the pack is magical. He might give some of them a run for their money with the quad bike. Great work everyone. I even got back to sleep having forgotten my worries for a while. Thanks to you. Xxx

Just one more note - I wanted to thank you all for these long videos! When I see a 2-hour video coming from the farm I feel like it's a great Christmas present! I work from home and now I'm late starting quite often because my favorite way of starting each day is by watching your videos while munching on a breakfast of egg and cheese burritos and sausage links - washed down with lots of coffee. It makes me smile just to think of it! I was just wondering - do you still allow the shelter to bring their dogs down on Fridays? I was hoping to be able to meet some more potential adoptees.
