I found out earlier, if you let the demo run, it tells you two very important terminal codes in the credits. they allow you to create your own party or choose a specific random scenario. These can both even be done in sp and mp.
Security doesn't create any value - if you didn't have security in the first place, the driver would stay and occupy security's spot. You either have one spot clogged up by useless driver or useless security :/

If that isn't the case, then they can kick themselves out so it's as if you didn't have them in the first place. Really, their value comes more into play in other levels where more party-goers have beneficial active effects but negative passives, and/or their ability can be refreshed during the same party.
40:37 give divers a chance guys! NL forgot the art of OG grinding. Stick to the first few screens grind, and heal at the surface, slowly expand as you level up. DIvers is AMAZING, been playing it for hours. Don't mess with those piranhas that ate NL till level 5

@@shivoraththere are some of the more classical deck builder descent, like Dominion or Race for the Galaxy, that can support a larger deck either because you don’t get to reshuffle it automatically if you run out of cards or it’s related to turn end and such. Even they have some benefits to small deck builds though because it reduces the randomness so much.

What is the point of security if you are just kicking out basic Andys and drivers? The security guy still just stands there giving you nothing, would be the same as just drawing something other than him.

Every card (person) does a special effect, like giving more popularity, money, losing popularity, losing money, alot of trade-offs. Theres also an upgrade to increase your hand size (your party/house). Every round, you select the door and draw a card until your hand is full. At the end of the round when your hand is full, everyones points are counted as well as their special effects, giving you popularity and cash. You use popularity as a currency to buy more cards, and your cash to upgrade your hand size. You win the game by beating the scenario (basically an end-goal the game gives you, like being able to afford 4 of a special card)

Security can boot things other than doormen though, eg: aliens if you can't get 4, or troublemakers if you're in 2 deep, or drivers, etc, so you're getting that utility as well
Booting someone who has already used their ability and gives no cash or popularity leaves room for a guest with an ability and/or gives popularity or cash tbh.
at higher capacity having security to kick trouble can help you fill your house when you would have been boned otherwise, security having no bonuses isnt a big deal if it lets you get like 5 extra guests in. also later you get wrestlers who are goated and have +2 pop

The driver lets you choose which guest you want in, but is worthless when the party is full. I'd say both have their worth either way.

Kicking Drivers out is equivalent to the security kicking themselves out, and feels like more of a betrayal.
I like how when you have security kick themselves out, the text just says they were dismissed or something. I like to think they got paid.

UFO 50 is insane value. Most of these games would probably be like $2-3 on their own, but each in total the whole package is $25.
