What is your favorite Denzel Washington movie?
Either Philadelphia or Man On Fire.
There are many. But my favorite ones are Training Day, Man on Fire and American Gangster 😁😆🔥. These three films of his are my favorite
@@John_Locke_108yes 2 of his best ❤
I don't know the name, my sister chose it for a movie night. But that was awesome stuff. Thinking about it.. was it the first equalizer? 😲
you two are duuuuuuummb
Denzel not turning his back on his ex-team before he had the one's child in his arms. Brilliant. Subtle sign of training
The speech with the child , a gun on his face was amazing…you have no idea what death is…powerful!
It’s rare you get that level of emotional acting in a action movie
I love that scene too but Miles definitely knows what death is because his brother was killed.
@@jongordon7914I always was confused about that, but someone pointed out he may have meant you have no idea what CAUSING death is, like how taking someone's life feels. Idk if that's right, but it made those lines make more sense to me 🤷🏽♀️
@jongordon7914 I like to think that he was talking about killing without a conscience is, which is what his former team had become. Once you become like that, there's no return.
@@stormangelus6638 Then that would be "you have no idea what killing is."
I still think it's one of the best scenes in any movie though. When a scene is that intense, you can overlook logical inconsistencies. Like the fact that none of the gang members (or anyone else in the building) passed through that lobby area while they were there. And I think both he and his team had no problem killing without a conscience considering that they all did that for the government.
Susan was in the first one, she helped him find info on Teddy. She was the only one who new he alive as well and he went to her to also get permission to be who he was before, in order to take care of Teddy. He had promised Vivian he had left that life behind but since Vivian was gone Susan was the closest and next best person to ask.
Mr. McCall is the father every kid needs❤️
The sub-plot with Samuel and his painting..... separated from his sister, he even said "to lose her TWICE...". Fuck the painting, the painting was so he could remember her, and Susan found Magda HERSELF. Makes me cry every time.
that IS Pedro Pascal! Love him so much! Can’t believe he has 3 Emmy noms now! So deserved (The Last of Us, SNL and narrating a documentary)!
Susan was McCall's former boss at the Agency...thus she was able to help him out with Teddy's identity in the first one and she became McCall's friend, able to talk to him about Vivian.
I'm surprised you guys don't remember the female character! In the first movie, she was the one that he awoke to ask who the Russian dude was. I hate that she died in this movie, but I'm glad she went out fighting like a BOSS. I can't wait for Equalizer 3! Check the trailers for it, they're awesome!
The director said that Denzel wanted McCall to have OCD. I think that was an interesting choice for the character because it gives some weight to the character going out of his way to set things right that he can control. It's subtle in how they show you his compulsiveness, but it works. It adds depth and supports the director's assertion that McCall is actually not a vigilante. Great reaction!
Dust explosions happen because of particle size. Flour is very fine and has a lot of surface for its weight. So if there is a spark and the air is saturated with flour particles it causes a chain reaction which rapidly spreads while giving off heat, which is an explosion!
Yup. Grain elevator silos on farms have the same problem if precautions aren't taken.
And cuz of that flash grenade too
Basic science, the smaller the object the quicker it burns up. Carbon-based dust like coal, sugar, and flour can be explosive.
Good on Nobu for knowing about dust explosions. Flour is a fuel, it just doesn't burn very well unless its surface area is distributed amongst oxygen. When it's floating in the air each particle has plenty of oxygen around it to combust and a chain reaction of individual flour particles combusting tends to be large enough for a conflagration type explosion. It's like the difference between setting a barrel of gasoline on fire vs a cloud of gasoline on fire. The cloud will immediately be consumed but the barrel will take hours to burn up because only the surface is exposed to oxygen. The thing with those style explosions though is that they're more of a fireball - you're pretty much just going to get burned by the combustion rather than blasted by any kind of substantial pressure wave. That being said, a whole room full of a combustible fuel can itself be a bit like a bomb - you'll definitely have more gas inside the room than outside once that flour goes up. Also, the reason they refer to something volatile and unstable (typically in terms of unruly mobs, protests, political stuff) as a "powder keg" is because powder kegs back in their day were prone to exploding by way of the same dust explosion principle.
Grain farmers know, 'Grain Dust Explosions', are very real & deadly. Some have blown steel reenforced concrete silos apart at processing plants w/loss of many lives. Aluminum silos on the farm don't stand a chance. Steps are taken to keep grain dust at a minimum when transferring grain from truck to silo for exactly that reason.
That's why people centuries ago believed that milleres are connected to the devil because sometimes whole flour mills exploded.
Those 4 guys in the hotel suite called Robert! when they hired a late-night lyft ride from downtown and a brutalized young lady jumps in. . . The equalizer made sure to punish each guys body parts, based on whatever she told him. Woah.
Deep stuff layered in this film. Every shot, they layered some metaphor, subtext or visual innuendos.
The edit is fast paced at times and that’s when the film layers so well, designed clearly for re-watches.
38:30 I think he was able to notice the bookshelf thing because he was Roberts partner for 7 years like said in the movie so he knew some of his ways.
EQ2.
Another kick-a** sequel.
It just never ceases to amaze in having one of the great actors of all time in a well-honed action thriller.
I liked how this one was a little more closer, more personal for McCall.
Betrayal has a way of bringing out the worse in people.
But you don't just think that with McCall, you'll get away with it.
Ever better action sequences.
The car fight and the battle in the storm were awesome.
This outgrossed the first installment and became Denzel's highest grossing film ever.
EQ3 as an final chapter looks to be even more epic.
At the end of the first movie we saw him setting up a website for people looking for help.
Fun fact: to discover a 2 way mirror simply touch it. If you are touching your reflection it's a standard mirror. If there is a space between your finger and reflection it's a two way mirror.
I think it’s the other way around
It's the other way around
Lol ya but how many people would have lost sleep? Quick delete! Lmao
the moment he looks and analyses the medicine.. i'm like.. is he gonna kill them with a pill?!?
So glad you knew what a flour explosion was
I'm pretty sure that for the backstory of Macall after he was in the Marines he worked for the department of defense as a military contractor
Mr.McCall is one of Denzel Washington’s most iconic characters and a lovable character as he’s so full of wisdom in everything he does🔥. It was very different to Equalizer 1 and I liked that as I enjoyed this movie. Loved the action sequences as I loved the final action sequence in the rain. Denzel Washington is just a great actor and every role he does he does it in such an effortless manner, dedication and ease. Pedro Pascal was good as the antagonist. Looking forward to Equalizer 3 which coming this fall😆. Loved your reaction/analysis, take care and have a good one❤️
Yay, can't wait guys! I literally just walked in the door (6:50pm here)😂
I love Denzel Washington's character!
The lady and little girl are from the start of the film, hence why macall, did the sssssh gesture to thd little girl, the little girl was the kidnapped girl at the start of the film...
I missed it on first viewing myself but then I put it together on second viewing. He bought his books from that local bookstore but then the daughter was kidnapped by her father and taken to Turkey. The mother was going to sell the store to finance the search for he daughter. McCall found out about this and had Susan use her contacts to locate the father. He then went to Turkey and brought the girl back. The mother can now go back to her old life and does not have to sell the store. The little girl recognizes him but he motions for her to keep it secret.
This made me wanna go bring justice with a do-better smile lol. I hated cheering for Pedro's beat down, but his character was a... 😤😡😁. The action was top-tier, those creeps that hurt that girl were not spared by living, that pain is gonna haunt them into seeking death quick. Dude got slitmouthed by a credit card, that psyche scar ain't going anywhere.
I can't wait for you to see Nobody, just be careful of the music for the strike hounds. It's so good.
RIP Oliver Wood
He was the cinematographer
I feel like I’ve waited years for you guys to finally react to this sequel.
Flour mixed with flashbang causes an explosion.
The Equalizer in the original TV series was played by Edward Woodward...you probably know him as the CCTV operator from the NWA in Hot Fuzz
The TV show was a bit different, not _that_ much, but still... McCall still had that same (general) background, but didn't fight nearly as much. His goal was more to get people to stand up for themselves, he only helped more "actively" if the odds were really against them - he _equalized_ the situation so that the people who had asked him for help had a better chance. The police (in his home city) also knew about him, sometimes they were annoyed, sometimes they were kind of thankful...
All in all, it was less "cool action", more "how and why people should stand up for themselves, but it's still perfectly fine to ask for help".
Never underestimate Robert McCall, especially in the midst of a hurricane storm!!!🤨
Let's go for the equalizer 3! Denzel works with Dakota again!!!!
This one makes you wonder about E3.!!! I'm ready.
You guys reactions and analysis are always great to listen to.
As we say in Texas; y'all be safe.
Thank you. Really enjoyed your reactions on this one as I liked it better than the first. I like Denzil in ‘Philadelphia’ (no action) and Inside Man. One of the most underrated actors I reckon.
"Man is not spelled G-U-N"
"You have no idea what death is". The lines in this movie is just phenomenal and the way Denzel delivers them makes it perfect. Also that car fight scene is one of the best ive ever seen in an action film
If you put something pointed on the surface of a true mirror there will be a gap between the object and the reflection. On a one way mirror they touch. Try it.
I always loved this one much more than the first one, which says a lot, since the first one was amazing! Thanks for finally getting to this! Can't wait for the third one! Great reaction and analysis! Thank you! ✌💙✌
Loved this sequel, these are unexpectedly amazing action crime thrillers and I'm hyped for the 3rd one. The violence is brutal and raw, the tension in various scenes is built up so well. Robert McCall is a badass.
They were assets, like Borne, not war vets. They referenced the incoming hurricane the movie.
The Equalizer 2 is very cool.
Dust-explosion... Put half a teaspoon of flour in the palm of your hand. Light a match and hold it with thumb and forefinger pointing up but angled slightly inwards. Toss the flour straight up in a swift motion and see a miniature dust-explosion.
Horror movies i recommend:
Slither 2006,Dog Soldiers 2002,Rogue 2007,Eden Lake 2008,Wrong Turn 2003,1408 2007,Uninvited 2009,Let the Right one in 2008,Dead Snow 2009,The Autopsy of Jane Doe 2016,Crawl 2019,Reef 2010.
"he's not going out of his way"....travels to Turkey lol
Looks like They had a thing with Benchmade knives. 2 Benchmade Adamas and a Benchmade Nimravus BK
one of the best ever films of all time.
For more good Denzel:
"The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3" (2009 remake)
"Fallen" (1998)
Love this one
Heard there’s an equaliser 3 can’t wait for it !!
Good movie, but I loved the first one (the villian was better in the first movie).
Please watch more Denzel movies. I recommend Crimson tide (it's not action, but a battle of wills and Denzel is awesome)
Woo, excited to see this
Nobody messes with McCall. No matter how superior you feel. If you meet him, you've already lost. Be sure to check out part 3 too
Little weird to mention it here, but between Tron and the girls watching Terminator...all that 80s...would you all consider watching the classic Star Trek films? Maybe not the first one as it's goes on forever but it does have cool visuals...so maybe? I dunno, I think the films generally hold up at least until 4.
You need to do Equalizer 3!

archaeologist and provenance researcher here. the reason why those photos aren't proof enough for his valid claim is likely due to the war. monuments men were a real thing and they absolutely went throughout as many nazi occupied locations as they could and collected as much cultural heritage as they could. they then tried their best to log it as detailed as they could before locking it all away for protection. because of this process, provenance documents were likely lost to the war and to the protection efforts. its sad, but its also why a ton of museums are coming under fire recently for not keeping steady and legal provenance paper trails for the items within their collections, both displayed and stored.
Susan is the lady roberts close friend in the ist film DONT you guys remember she was married to bill pullmans character she was the lady who lived in that big house in the country who Robert went to help for to find out who Pushkin was and Nicoli was she worked in C.I.A
All of you guys should react to all of the Transformers movies from 1 to 5 and also The Bumblebee movie and it’s sequel Rise of the Beasts!
Hope you’re feeling better. 😊
Rule #1 of assassination. Always kill the assassin.
Rule #1 of being a soldier... situational awareness. Don't stand at the highest point in a town during a hurricane.
Have you guys reacted to back to the future? If you didnt ,please do its amazing
Have you guys seen Nimona? You definitely should if you haven't already. One of the best animated films of this year.
Why would you guys do this reaction, you don't even remember the first one, Susan is his friend from the first movie.
They also love it all the way through and then piss and moan about it at the end (like James does with all his reactions). It's no wonder the girls alone have way more views
Didnt you guys had a video on the sonic movie, or am i trippin??
Copy right issues, maybe there working on it.
There is a Sonic review
Just noticed the Sonic vod is no longer up. Hope they aren't in any trouble
I think the bad guy with the beard was in John Wick.
Would he be the guy who got stabbed and then shot bare bodied at the club pool?
You guys need to watch the movie, Cujo.
@whitenoisereacts you need to see Basic
Not sure what the reactors expect 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
in terms of any from of platoon, fire squad, black ops team, search and rescue etc. In any branch or contractor of military. The lieutenant and the enlistments or the squad leader and the members of the squad are night and day in "most" cases in terms of intelligence. To be a leader or lieutenant you need a bachelor's degree or a lot of classroom training (the thinking man). Enlistments or the general sqaud type are for lack of a better word "jarheads" albeit very combat experienced jarheads. But they dont problem solve like leaders do. Hence why his team was "dumber" than him. To me it was a realistic portrayl and worked well
Really, you can't remember Susan from her little teeny weenie part in the first one? 😂 Wow, perhaps you should do sequels sooner...like the next day. Your opinion on whether or not the sequel holds up on its own or is just a carbon copy cash grab only works if you can recall the prior film for a comparison eh.
My favorite Denzel movie... Crimson Tide, Training Day, American Gangster, can't decide...
Another thing I know is that one of its worse is this one, right here...
Plus, what's with his face on this poster? How much has it been retouched? :D
Watch the third and you also gonna love it ❤
Watching your reaction some of the questions you guys ask . Are you Watching or should I say are you listening to the movie. Did you really see the first one
@White Noise Reacts, this title film-first& second part is nothing like a certain," Take" film series,a few things that are far different-the character is much younger than The TV series, no trench-coat like other back then wears(example,Columbo& Kojak),lastly the studio behind the films changed the ethnic background from original source material?.
6:58 Comment noting Suss.-Ernie Moore Jr.
Denzel Washington is... BATMAN.
@White Noise Reacts,"The Equalizer" TV series are among two other drama crime shows back in the 80's,all three shows's characters are age at least older than late 50's/early 60 ? Back then the TV demographic were much different& the film studios now days target youngdr crowds to reach a certain profit when making any action based films even recycled IP media entertainment property?.
Have you guys seen 'The Foriegner' with Jackie Chan? Because seeing now you guys reacted I wanna see you guys reaction to how Jackie did his moves. How would I ask or however that works?
They got fired and became Ronins.
@White Noise Reacts, the "Equalizer" actor/character does fight in any caoacity but carries a gun, only? None of the trench-coat wearing crime show characters ever fight like Denzel in the film series?.
Please do Equalizer 3 🥺
I like you guys. But there should be a limit on the amount of times someone can say "sus" in any given time period. Like, two per day. Max.
King Kong STILL ain't got sh*t on Denzel - especially in this one!!!!!
they r all former CIA SAC operators
I love you guys and your reaction videos, but please, humor an old woman and use the entire word "Suspect" or "suspicious" - the whole "sus" thing is driving me crazy. It's not a word.
U seem u catch a lot of details and smart guys. How tf u cant get that they were agents in CIA!!!!
Nobo...please don't take this personally as it is just an observation and advice as I love the channel and want to see it grow. Please be more clear, succinct and direct with your comments/reactions...I rarely understand your thoughts (and that is not an overstatement) as your sentences are so broken, incomplete, and end with "like", almost, kind of and maybe...just say what you think without the caveat that you may be wrong. Say what you think man...and say it clearly. Your partner does...I wish you would.
Sorry who,are you exactly this is there channel if you don’t like how they do things on here JOG ON there’s nothing wrong with there comments this is how they do things and who they are why should they change the way they do things for 1 complete stranger they don’t no when they have hundreds subscribers who died and made you king your RUDE CHEEKY and maybe you should sling your hook and find another channel to watch and have a problem with
I love ❤❤❤❤ the way they react and there comments and opinions this channel is awesome and there’s nothing wrong with how they comment you rarely understand there thoughts because your the problem your stupid, bit of advice GET LOST if you don’t like the way they do things SLING YOUR HOOK. Maybe they don’t want your irrelevant opinion and advice.
I can assure you that I am not stupid. I am in a high level position in a national corporation and have been for years. Clearly, there is a vast difference between how the two reactors communicate there thoughts and reactions to their audience. If you cannot see that I would suggest that you reread your comments and look into the mirror to see who who actually lacks the intellect. I also am a fan of this channel and the reactions...I just think that if the two reactors were on the same page the channel would be so much better.@@rachaelhogan7850
I think its high time that you should upload RRR movie reaction.
Why I am recommending it so much??
The movie will Answer you.
Your channel will completely change after thst reaction.
Please its a humble request.
