Thanks for the vid, shared it to a friend to help him. Do regularly grease the entire bike, especially the bottom bracket. Common misconception that sealed bearings don't need grease. I had a bike that had a sealed bottom bracket that was never taken apart for 11 years and the grease was solid in chunks.
Thnx buddy! I used to do this back when I was your age but that was probably about 20 yrs ago lol! I'm refurbishing an old bmx and forgot how any of this works! Nice video! 👍👍
NIce Job this is going to be super helpful to me. Bought an older Sunday two years ago, completely disassembled, my son and I will be putting back together soon but never saw it built in teh first place
Sidly Mizan told me you're channel had a lot of views so I had to do further investigation to see if it was true. Also, this is the first time I've checked my phone in hours so I wanted to see before I forgot.
you either have 1, a 48 spline crank which fits on tightly so you have to hammer it out, or b you have mountain bike cranks that require crank pullers(some 48 spline cranks also use crank pullers)
Ilja Jefimovs Remove the pinch bolts and stick them in from the other side and shove a penny between the gap then slowly tighten the bolt this will remove the crank arm
ste lamo wait what crack? the one on the side of the crank or the one on the spindle, if it is the the one on the spindle it might be becuase of spacers as the chain alignment is wrong, that is all i could think, of , if you could describe a little more i could help you
Yassid Martinez Crack lol ... i got the bike second hand , and at the time and the crank was lose, so i just tightened it all up.... Now on a second look after taking it apart, I've noticed that the spacer that aligns the sprocket was on the wrong way round. So the sprocket wasn't centered ! ... :)
Taya Master it must be because a: you have an American bb meaning it is held on with a nut. (If you mean the axle) Or B: you need to just smack it out (if you are talking about the crank)
good to see someone young actually doing their own bike maintenance rather than getting ripped off at bike shops, nice one;)
benji Jacko if somebody isn't smart enough to fix a bicycle... That's a problem. A mental problem
"Stick it in there if you know what I'm saying" 😂😂😂

Márcio Bueno BMX flatland
I’m surprised how easily the spindle cames out 😨
Why can't mine slide out?

re tightening with your chain on tight is never a great idea- should be slack- tighten all your fixing bolts then tension the chain
What are thoseeeee
çömez daha bisikleti bile tutamıyorsun bide bizi tamiri öğretcek ama iyi yapmış galiba bilmiyom daha izlemedşm mk
You didn't remove/replace bearings. Thats why I was here. Now i'm not..
Turbo Duckie this was on how to remove the cranks, not the bottom bracket. look up bottom bracket replacement on youtube
Same... So helpful... Not
Look at the title before you click a video. Quit giving the kid grief for your ignorance.
and your spindle slides out waaaay to easy! should be tighter than that.
Grease every part bro otherwise you'll stuff your cranks fml.....
