This game was a big part of my childhood and im glad to see it coming back out while staying almost exactly true to the OG, personally i would spend the 60 bucks anyways just for the feeling of nostalgia and fun.

I have brought something for 60 before. Back in the 2010s, that was the default price for games. Yes, that's a huge ask, but at least Disney didn't get inherently greedy it would have been 70 straight up

Purple Lamp (the team that's making this game) also did the Battle for Bikini Bottom remaster. They truly care about the fans and the products they're making. This game was definitely given the same treatment
Don't forget that Purple Lamp also developed The Cosmic Shake, which is essentially a sequel/spiritual successor to Battle for Bikini Bottom! Clearly the developers know exactly what they're doing when it comes to 3D platformers.
The Cosmic Shake in itself was unironically an incredibly solid 3D platformer in my honest opinion. I had so much fun 100%ing that game and it made me have HUGE respect for Purple Lamp and their understanding for good game design and respect for the fans of the source material they’re adapting. They’re easily one of my new favorite upcoming developers!
I enjoyed this on the Wii, but have played the demo several times, and all I can say is - this is how you do a remaster! Not only does it look visually sharp, but the camera issues are fixed, the controls have been updated and are SO much better, and it just feels like a new game and not just a graphical update. It's a bit pricey for the fact that it's a 14 year old game, but with all the changes I am completely fine with it. Can't wait to play.
The answer is it’s worth it because the game isn’t clunky, the demo controlled well only complaint is you don’t keep momentum while jumping, nowadays there are so many clunky trash games and it’s good to see this isn’t one of them.
Don’t let a TH-camr dictate your purchases go buy it. It was a part of your childhood.
I’m grabbing it we need fun games like this where it’s not that tedious and you can lay back and play I was hoping Funko Fusion would of scratched that itch to as well but not all things can be good

The two reasons I'm getting this is because I like platformers and I could always have another one. Secondly, the Disney distortion before you repaint it reminds me of Banksy's Dismaland.
The Wii copy sells for 5 bucks. I know the improvements are higher but I just can't bite the bullet at full price.

Except the will one is outdated in it's mechanics and I don't buy games at full price often but I'll make an exception with this one. I'll support purple lamb and this game
@@TimeMakerMan check the reviews coming out now. The outdated systems are still there. If you have nostalgia for the series that's cool, spend how you want to, but this isn't a revolution this is a new coat of paint on a game with fundamental issues
Price is too high when Nordic remade others for $40

10 more dollars for a game that costed 50 originally with much better graphics and other stuff

There's no reason it should be 30 dollars in my opinion, that's ridiculously cheap compared to others and it's a very well made remake of the game! I don't mind spending that price if it's polished and shown a lot of love 🤷♂️
idk why yall are complaining about this game being 60 bucks, it's 60 bucks because it's worth that, it's not some lame oh we upped the graphics give us 60 bucks now, it's got plenty of new content and a lot of stuff redone that desperately needed it, this is one of the few remakes that actually deserves full price
As for me the only reason as to why im picking up Disney Epic Mickey Rebrushed on both the Playstation 5 and the Nintendo Switch is because i didn't have hundreds of dollars back in 2010 when i was 15 years old to spend on the game,a special paintbrush wii remote and the Nintendo wii itself. Unfortunately, for Xbox fans, Disney Epic Mickey Rebrushed will be released without motion controls as an option because the Xbox controllers don't support motion controls,so in other words, if you want to have the option for motion controls you would have to play it on both Playstation and Nintendo Switch systems.
The Nintendo Switch demo doesn't use motion controls, so that's a huge improvement for me.
i never had a Nintendo Wii so this is brand new to me and i LOVE it :D

I had no idea this was a thing until I randomly decided to try playing it yesterday and to my surprise it worked!? The game is great already I'm having a blast, no bugs or anything either on xbox 😊🎉

The Switch edition lacks a bunch of sounds effects (I played the demo) which left me a little worried tbh... Also the volume is very low despite playing at max volume...
I've never played the first game, only the second one and I liked it even though everyone says it's significantly worse. That's why I'm really happy to finally be able to catch up on this game. And I'm happy to pay the 60€ for this game because I would like it to be a success, as this might enable a sequel in the future, which unfortunately was canceled after Mickey Epic 2 (you have that with Spongebobob or Crash Bandicoot, for example seen where new games were developed after the successful remakes).

I remember enjoying this game as a kid but I found it very confusing how it was a choose your own adventure sort of thing. I like games with more structure. So as much as I would love to play this again for the unique experience I don't think i don't love it that much for $90.
Might buy the wii version again for cheap though.

Fr, like, i'd get it if the original epic mickey was ported (which from my knowledge it hasnt been in a long time), or if the remake was just an HD upscale. But its completely remade and (seemingly based off of stuff in the Demo files) was at some point planned to, or is bringing back stuff scrapped from the original game!

I just used my 10,000 PlayStation points to get 40 dollars(never knew about it) so it came to 15 dollars for me 😂
They just should have done epic Mikey 1&2 on one disk for $60 would have been more worth it

After playing a good couple hours or so of the new version, it's honestly everything you'd want and more in my opinion! If you loved the old game you won't be disappointed I assure you 😄

reason it's 60 bucks is because it's one of those remakes that are actually worth 60 bucks, I'll be the first to shit on remakes and remasters that aren't worth full prices, this one is one of the few that are actually worth it

yes, i ended up getting the physical then later on the digital versions, and both of them have the black pearl bug, plus if this and 2 do well they may do a 3 since 2 left us at a cliffhanger.

i played the og epic mickey 2 for xboxone it was aful i didnt know if you dont do certain quest/missions in time it locks you out, oswald is responsible for my death a million times he just stands in the way and bad glitches all the way through did they fix it all?
