Darkness, you are my favorite narrator. Darkness 2 is functional but lacks the emotion and entonacion that you have. For that reason, its narration is not relaxing or easy to listen to, and you know how we love to be soothe by your voice. You are excellent at what you do. ❤️

Wow this is the first time I have heard of a ghost haunting a McDonald's. All you ever hear ghost haunting are hospitals, houses and hotels. Never apartments, town houses, RV trailers, restaurants or motels. This by far is my number one ghost story.

I actually like automated voice story telling. It adds an extra layer of creepy hearing a good story from a cold, emotionless voice. But that's not what Darkness is using at all. It seems he got AI to sample his voice, so it sounds like him, just more uniform than usual. You can tell when it's the AV but as long as you don't focus too hard on it, you don't really notice

Darkness 2.0 is a great AI deep fake! A little bit fast at times, and the phrasing does sound a bit like that classic CG sound. But, it’s impressive. Needs a little tweaking, but it’s pretty dang good, although I must admit, the slight imperfections are a little distracting. However, it lacks… soul. What makes YOU so good, is your delivery. Like any good performance, it’s an intrinsic art from, and you, are a great voice actor and artist! That being said, I understand why you are exploring new means of getting out more content. So as long as you still deliver the majority of it, I’m down for whatever, and however, you deliver it.

Relating to the 1st story, I've experienced the same thing. Over the summer of 2022, I worked for the US Forest Service. I worked on the trail crew, fixing and maintaining trails. Working on the Wasatch mountain range of Utah one day, I was ahead of the rest of the crew brushing the trail. I worked my way into a a part of the trail completely blocking out the sun, it gave me Sleepy Hollow vibes. I felt like I was being watched so I decided to rejoin the group and all of a sudden heard something loud and heavy running up behind me. I swung around scared for my life but didn't see anything. For the rest of the day I was on edge. Once we were done with the trail we walked back through that area on the way back to the trucks. It happened 2 more times to me and needless to say I was the first back to the trucks. I believe I was being toyed with by some dark entity. I've had other encounters with ghosts and every time I get the same uncomfortable, dark and gloomy feeling.
I had a boss like the one in story three. I kept going to work sick and even went to a mandatory manager’s meeting at Denny’s deathly sick. I had a fever of 102, chill’s etc but I went in spite of this and they all could see how sick I was but it didn’t matter, he was angry that I was five minutes late. Finally the meeting was over I went home and was off for four day’s. When I went back to work my boss told me he had gotten my sickness. Now Get this, everything I said above wasn’t even the worst part. He had the NERVE to tell me, he was cursing me the whole time he was sick! Needless to say I quit that job after four months!

My immune system was down, so I was one of those folks who got it. Because of stress I was already under at the time, I couldn't seem to kick that bug, but I tried to keep working anyway. Failed some days to make it, was late a few, but I tried. A week in, I admitted defeat, because I was so sick by then that I had to literally crawl from the bed to the bathroom. I couldn't even stand up due to severe weakness and bad dizziness, much less walk straight. My boss called me repeatedly (waking up the sick person who REALLY needed rest), harping about how "inconvenient" it was for THEM for me to be out sick. Yeah, because I was having SO much fun. Grrrr. Extremely upset about the harassment, I finally ended up calling my hubby one evening a few days into the phone calls (he was out of town during all that time due to work). Following his advice, I worked myself up to a serious mad, drove to the office after hours, and quit - left my resignation and keys on the boss' desk. After I got back on my feet and feeling semi-human a week or two later, I booted up the laptop and found a BUNCH of emails my boss had sent during the same time she'd called - same thing - "inconvenient" for THEM for me to be out sick. I guess she thought I was playing on the computer at home, despite the fact I told her I was in bed sick beyond belief. Finding those emails made me REALLY glad I had quit.
"My company prefers ppl to tell harassers to stop" = they want to play blind so they don't have to do anything, that is a red flag for a company for sure.

We have the famous story of 2 trappers, one off checking traps one last time, to return to camp and his friend lie died by the fire where he sat, neck broke by being wrenched backwards, which only sometimes with hands and that had superhuman strength, like a large Sasquatch sized primate would have If this story is true, the writer is lucky to be alive! Yelling saved his life. Sasquatch do not like to be spotted

Honestly I'd be fine if you used an Automated Voice if that doesn't mess with your money. I love automated story like old Reddit Aliens and now they new channel Dr. Hollowed, but they always tell short, rather lame stories. You're one of few real voice narrators I listen to. The stories you choose told in an automated voice would be lovely. Maybe do it once. Perhaps for a "Things seen while driving at night" comp

i think for certian stories the automated offputting tone is great bc it adds a level of creepyness since its a little off and not natural, and for some stories being able to hear inflection and human nature of a real voice can add to the experience also
