Thank-you so much. What might be a basic tutorial for some folks was a life-saver for me. Over the winter some bird or rodent got into my garage and pecked the primer button to pieces. With the local lawnmower repair place reckoning they had a five-week waiting list, I bought the part myself and followed this to the letter. Thus, my grass is under my feet, not over my knee-caps. Thanks again!
Ive got a BMC with a similar setup, getting no fuel on prime, can't see any tears on the primer itself. Push to prime all i'm getting is air, similar carb setup too, is there something obvious I'm missing? As when I seperate the primer from the carb input it holds air when your press the pipe against your finger. Is the problem the fuel intake or a blocked passage, as I'd already cleaned the carb.
Replaced the primer bulb today with the help of your video - thank you.
