My pen was dropped, after that, when I try to use it, it's always selecting everything and when I'm drawing, I can't stop drawing. It's like it's always holding the left click
Something wrong with the buttons, try opening the pen and taking out the buttons. If it works normally without buttons, then you know what the problem is. :)

You may or may not have to pull the nib slightly out, but for me, it further spaced out the occurrences of the glitch to a tolerable amount. I still recommend ordering a new pen though, but this might be a great temporary fix.
I FOUND OUT A SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM :D If you have a "TabletDriver" Application in your pc customise the "pressure senstivity" on the MAX point it worked for me hope it helps you guys too~

@@noiJadisCailleach Maybe the plastic part (the white one) near the nib broke slightly and kept pressing on the cylindrical part where the nib is connected. try to rearrange the position of the plastic break make sure it is not pressing on the nib cylinder sorry, maybe this reply is too late but maybe this will be useful for people who have just experienced a similar problem

Step two: Use a pin or a paper clip to push in the small gray button under the metal square. Step three: Don't fully remove the electronics, just lift the part up enough that the gray button is outside of the pen. Step four: See that small metal square? Check to see if the square is at an odd angle or the end of the square is *not* touching the copper thing inside of the pen. Step five: If the square is messed up, use a pin or paperclip to try and reposition the ends of the square so that it will touch the copper thing in the pen. Step six: You may have to change the nib as well (I had to) Step seven: Close the pen back up and test to see if it works. If it works, it will probably be doing the weird glitch where it's constantly left clicking (how to fix that is the next step), If it doesn't work, try steps one through seven again and make sure that the end of the metal square is lined up with the copper thing in the pen. You may have to try again multiple times like I did. Step eight: If the pen works but it is doing the weird left click glitch, open up the green PenTabletDriver icon on your computer and allow it administrator access Step nine: Change the pen sensitivity to max (to the right) and *make sure you press apply before testing it.* Step ten: Go into the sensitivity test thing and make sure the bar is completely empty and there is no very thin lines appearing when you hover over it. If it is functioning correctly, Great! If not, you can retry steps one through seven as much as you want, but if it still doesn't work after at least ten tries, you may need a new pen (not a new tablet, just a new pen.) If there is a problem with the wires, sorry but I can't help you with that. You can try what the guy does in the video, but a lot of people said this broke their pen, so I wouldn't recommend it.

"for if you dropped it and it stopped responding completely" I dropped mine and it tore pen wire for the electromagnet I was out of the city and I had no internet I still had a warranty and could have replaced it but because there was no internet when I got back couple days/weeks later the time was over so I couldn't replace it. I hope this helps cus I couldn't open it to rewire it or anything... edit:tysm!
I had the exact same problem with my Huion H610 Pro pen. I found that if I shook the shit out of it, it worked for a few seconds and then started the glitch again, so I just unplugged the tablet and ordered a new pen on Amazon. Oddly enough, a while later (right now), I plugged my tablet back in just to see if it miraculously worked, and it _did_, for right now at least. I don't know why slapping it against my palm and shaking it vertically in anger fixed the problem, but try it; you never know. It's at least a temporary fix until you find a better solution (like buying a new pen).
i know what to do but you not fully fix this problem with my advise. I have the same problem too but if you just at pen settings make preasure sensitivity more to the right it works
For H950P and owners of others (probably). If you dropped your pen and it stopped working at all then disassemble it and check two wires connecting with coil on the end of pen and if they both are.. well, connected. Soldering them may be a solution. Hope it helped.
if you break the wires, you can solder them, it's pretty easy after a few hours of practicing, but if you don't want to solder you can try using eletrical tape to press the wires back in the terminal
Aren't electrical tapes insulators? I researched about it since my siblings have broken one wire and I can't seem to fix it since I don't have a soldering iron. I also researched if electrical tapes can help to conduct electricity but then I found out that it's an insulator
@@lily_8406 they are, you should press and make eletrical conection between the wire and the pad or two broken parts of the wire(remember to remove ennamel from the wire with an knife or sandpaper), and hold everything together with eletrical tape

Hovering could be caused if you invert the wires in assembly, happened to me. I nearly died when i thought it was impossible a fix in the situation i was, but it was simple as adjusting the the coil wires in the right position and re-adjusting the spring, though there are other circumstances, so just consider this in case doing all others methods just don't work out. And be careful with the spring, i lost and passed like 2 hours hunting down that crap.
Unfortunately, nah :') But, u can fix this but just for temporary. By shake it slightly and quick, but after like 5 minutes it will be broken again Now i never use that pen this whole year, its suck. Just making me angry everytime i use it.

N4O // NoAiOne think I found the solution. Kinda. Had the same problem with my tablet feeling pressure while just hovering over it not pressing down at all. Go to device manager, it should pop up if you search for it in the start menu. Click on human interface devices and scroll down to HUION HID. Right click on them and choose uninstall device on every HUION HID. then unplug and plug in your tablet from your computer and the problem should go away. It worked for me. If you still have the same problem after doing this then it’s most likely your tablet or pen is defective and you need to reach out to customer service for a replacement. That’s all I’ve found that works let me know if it did.
when pen doesnt turn on, the metal part at the top that is squar and connect with metal around - at end of the battery is not reaching the metal, get sharp object and pull it OUT! dont the pen will work but to fix the issue where it constantly clicks and drags just increase the sensitivity, using huion application and increase it to a point where its comfortable, than it will work normally, but sensitivity will change, getting used to that is something else lol

For those of you who have the issue keep dragging things (left click) even if it's not touching the tablet: - Just remove the buttons on your pen (01:59) then just tape it to cover the holes If you're a cheap person like me don't spend 20$ on some pen, but If this method still doesn't help buy a new one. A way to solve the problem if your pen keep drawing/selecting while hovering is to do what this guy did clean it with a toothbrush and oil(I used 3 in 1) and reassemble it then go to the pc to the pent tablet option and play with the “pressure sensitivity” it worked for me. Hope this helps!

I opened my pen and found out that one of the wire was not connected anymore. So i went to my neighbor (electrician) and asked him for help to solder it, now my pen is working again😭😭 so happy
I found a way on how to fix it: Open the pen. Then pull out the board. De-solder the two copper wires. Then switch those two copper wires.(L-R to R-L). Re-solder it back then try using it again. I can't assure you that this will work.
Is the number of turns of the wire important? I accidentally broke the wire while trying to unstick the nib so I unwound some of it but then the pen started to malfunciton. After a while it broke completely. How does the tablet recognize different actions i.e. buttons pressed, touching etc?
I went to work on a piece but I couldn't because my tablet (Huioin 580) was registering a click while I was hovering over the tablet with my pen. I took the pen apart, intentionally broken the copper wires and unscrewed the top. I repositioned the black rubber dome on the spring and screwed it together. I didn't screw it all the way in, I left it at around 30% screwed in; just enough so that my "clicks" with the pen felt clicky again. I soldered the wires to the appropriate metal pin (there are four pins in two columns and two rows, I soldered the wires to the top left (furthest from the tip) and to the top right). Didn't work, the tablet was still registering a click while I was hovering. I took it apart again, this time I tried out multiple combinations (top left, bottom right (tablet doesn't register the pen at all); top right, bottom left (tablet doesn't register the pen at all); bottom right, bottom left (tablet doesn't register the pen at all) only top left (tablet doesn't register the pen at all) only top right (tablet doesn't register the pen at all) bottom left, bottom right, top left, top right (tablet doesn't register the pen at all) top left, top right (tablet is holding down left mouse key while hovering) The black areas are melted plastic which are melted to prevent the circuit board from falling out of the housing. Therefore, it doesn't serve any purpose (and yes, I did try combinations with the black spaces as well). I tried new nibs as well, nothing. Finally, I tried screwing tighter, and screwing looser; all to no avail. It didn't work. My tablet is still registering a click while I'm hovering above the tablet. What do I do now? EDIT: No, I haven't fixed it but my pen now works without me turning it on. I'd really like some schematics on huion pens...
Hi, after some trial and error and reading @Ace Techno’s comment (pinned comment), I found out a way that worked for me. Please try Ace Techno’s method before looking at this. Like they said, there is a metal square that you have to adjust. Zooming out, you can see that the metal square is part of a metal hook thing. The metal square has to touch the metal cylinder that is around the battery, so it can communicate with the buttons, nib response, etc. Take a toothpick or thin/long object and pull up on the hook so it protrudes out of the slot where it is in. This will touch the metal cylinder in the battery part of the pen and it should work. (My problem was that it was pushed too far in and wasn’t touching the metal cylinder around the battery.) Hope this helps!
If that doesn't convince you it's a fake then at the end he uses the pen says yup it works THEN puts the batteries in EDIT: NOT JUST THE BATTERIES BUT THE WHOLE BACK OF THE PEN ON AFTER HE SAYS YUP ITS WORKING

When i first got the Huion H420 with that pen, i was satisfied. Until 2 weeks eventually, it doesnt show the mouse cursor on my chromebook. Its the pen. I tried to find a way to put it back on the screen, the pen can be like the mousepad as you move around the screen. It lets me show where i drew, NOW ITS INVISIBLE since it still works but I DON'T LIKE IT, I MEAN WHERES THE CURSOR. i tried replacing every pen tip and it still doesn't show the cursor as it still works. Please does anybody have a solution??? USB Huion on Chromebook??????
In my case, when I droped my pen, the ferrite core inside the coil (a long black cylinder) was broken in two, and I simply glued it back with super glue. Be carreful, do not put too much super glue, just a bit!

hi y'all my pencil had the same sensibility problem described here in the video and on some of the comments. The solutions that were given worked for me but just partially so i just stopped using my tablet for a long time (i'd say more than a year or two). Now, i'm back, i installed the driver again, i changed the tip, changed the battery of the pencil and also deactived the settings of the bottom's functions to none and the sensibility is all back. I never thought i'd come back to digital drawing lmao it took its years of rest but it was worthy or maybe i'm just stupid, still, i hope this helps someone
idk whats the problem for me, it happened while i was drawing.. I pressed a button on my pen and it stopped, when i released the button it kept working.. when i rotated the pen so i can access the buttons again so its easy for my fingers it stopped working.. im reall confused

Si no te funciona ninguna de esas cosas y tuviste el mismo problema que yo, intenta ponerle aflojatodo (como el WD-40 multipurpose Spray) en la parte del resorte del botón. Solo quitas el resorte y le colocas ahí. Así le hizo mi papá y ahora funciona correctamente.

I love HUION but I have to say the styli are a definite drawback, I've broken two so far and I've never been entirely sure how

My pen dropped,and as I tried using it back on ,it's almost selecting everything. And keeps on drawing endlessly , someone please help.

For those of you who have the issue keep dragging things (left click) even if it's not touching the tablet:
- Just remove the buttons on your pen (01:59)
then just tape it to cover the holes
If you're a cheap person like me don't spend 20$ on some pen, but If this method still doesn't help buy a new one. Hope this helps
A way to solve the problem if your pen keep drawing/selecting while hovering is to do what this guy did clean it with a toothbrush and oil(I used 3 in 1) and reassemble it then go to the pc to the pent tablet option and play with the “pressure sensitivity” it worked for me.

For me, my power button is stuck up. Whenever I push it down, it just comes back up and I can't draw.

Thank you this video is very helpful and i don't need to buy new pen 😭 i dropped my pen and suddenly my pen was not working at all. I opened my pen and found out that one of the wire was not connected anymore. So i went to my neighbor (electrician) and asked him for help to solder it, now my pen is working again😭😭 so happy
I found a way on how to fix it:
Open the pen.
Then pull out the board.
De-solder the two copper wires.
Then switch those two copper wires.(L-R to R-L).
Re-solder it back then try using it again.
I can't assure you that this will work.
Is the number of turns of the wire important? I accidentally broke the wire while trying to unstick the nib so I unwound some of it but then the pen started to malfunciton. After a while it broke completely. How does the tablet recognize different actions i.e. buttons pressed, touching etc?

I went to work on a piece but I couldn't because my tablet (Huioin 580) was registering a click while I was hovering over the tablet with my pen.
I took the pen apart, intentionally broken the copper wires and unscrewed the top.
I repositioned the black rubber dome on the spring and screwed it together. I didn't screw it all the way in, I left it at around 30% screwed in; just enough so that my "clicks" with the pen felt clicky again. I soldered the wires to the appropriate metal pin (there are four pins in two columns and two rows, I soldered the wires to the top left (furthest from the tip) and to the top right). Didn't work, the tablet was still registering a click while I was hovering. I took it apart again, this time I tried out multiple combinations (top left, bottom right (tablet doesn't register the pen at all);
top right, bottom left (tablet doesn't register the pen at all);
bottom right, bottom left (tablet doesn't register the pen at all)
only top left (tablet doesn't register the pen at all)
only top right (tablet doesn't register the pen at all)
bottom left, bottom right, top left, top right (tablet doesn't register the pen at all)
top left, top right (tablet is holding down left mouse key while hovering)
The black areas are melted plastic which are melted to prevent the circuit board from falling out of the housing. Therefore, it doesn't serve any purpose (and yes, I did try combinations with the black spaces as well). I tried new nibs as well, nothing.
Finally, I tried screwing tighter, and screwing looser; all to no avail. It didn't work. My tablet is still registering a click while I'm hovering above the tablet.
What do I do now?
EDIT: No, I haven't fixed it but my pen now works without me turning it on.

Hi, after some trial and error and reading @Ace Techno’s comment (pinned comment), I found out a way that worked for me.
Please try Ace Techno’s method before looking at this.
Like they said, there is a metal square that you have to adjust. Zooming out, you can see that the metal square is part of a metal hook thing. The metal square has to touch the metal cylinder that is around the battery, so it can communicate with the buttons, nib response, etc.
Take a toothpick or thin/long object and pull up on the hook so it protrudes out of the slot where it is in. This will touch the metal cylinder in the battery part of the pen and it should work. (My problem was that it was pushed too far in and wasn’t touching the metal cylinder around the battery.)

So i think i broke my pen while doing the opening thing (i didnt even move anything, seriously!) and now because of that my days old pen doesnt move the mouse anymore and my mom's gonna be angry at me when i'll tell. what do i do? i tried reopening it again and readjusting it a bit, but nothing works. also, back to when it still works, i cant even draw a thing. thats the main reason why i opened it in the first place. help please? ;w;

When i first got the Huion H420 with that pen, i was satisfied. Until 2 weeks eventually, it doesnt show the mouse cursor on my chromebook. Its the pen. I tried to find a way to put it back on the screen, the pen can be like the mousepad as you move around the screen. It lets me show where i drew, NOW ITS INVISIBLE since it still works but I DON'T LIKE IT, I MEAN WHERES THE CURSOR. i tried replacing every pen tip and it still doesn't show the cursor as it still works. Please does anybody have a solution??? USB Huion on Chromebook??????
In my case, when I droped my pen, the ferrite core inside the coil (a long black cylinder) was broken in two, and I simply glued it back with super glue. Be carreful, do not put too much super glue, just a bit!

it actually works, you guys just dont have to turn it aggressively. All you need to do is to turn it slowly, atleast one slow turn could work
still not working, the two red wires on the side look like they were cut/ burned and whoever tried to fix it used tape to put them back together :/
Hi, I just bought one of these things, but I can't figure out how to 'open' the pen. I'm afraid to try an force anything... do you just twist it? Is there some other aspect I don't know about?

hi y'all my pencil had the same sensibility problem described here in the video and on some of the comments. The solutions that were given worked for me but just partially so i just stopped using my tablet for a long time (i'd say more than a year or two). Now, i'm back, i installed the driver again, i changed the tip, changed the battery of the pencil and also deactived the settings of the bottom's functions to none and the sensibility is all back. I never thought i'd come back to digital drawing lmao it took its years of rest but it was worthy or maybe i'm just stupid, still, i hope this helps someone

idk whats the problem for me, it happened while i was drawing.. I pressed a button on my pen and it stopped, when i released the button it kept working.. when i rotated the pen so i can access the buttons again so its easy for my fingers it stopped working.. im reall confused
If you broke the wires you need to solder it back to place

soda got on on my pen and now the buttons keep getting stuck even though. i spray alcohol and that loosens the buttons but after they get stuck again
My pen won't click. It responds when you hold the top button but other than that it stopped working.

The pen nib was stuck before after I dropped it. After it got stuck, my art thing went crazy because of the pen. I used the pen again after i fixed the nib but now it won't work at all.

A mi lo que me pasó fue que el botón de ON / OFF no hacía ese "click" cuando lo prendías. Vi varios vídeos, entre ellos este, e hice lo que decían (lo desenrosqué, lo desarmé, pero el alambre que muestra en el minuto 3:05 estaba bien en mi lápiz digital).
Si no te funciona ninguna de esas cosas y tuviste el mismo problema que yo, intenta ponerle aflojatodo (como el WD-40 multipurpose Spray) en la parte del resorte del botón. Solo quitas el resorte y le colocas ahí. Así le hizo mi papá y ahora funciona correctamente.

Make sure the metal button isn't too inside of the pen, otherwise it won't receive the negative end of the battery.
