In an ITV interview with his friend Tom Bradby , he suggests his relatives were 'complicit' in the 'pain and suffering' inflicted on Meghan Markle, and astonishingly likens them to 'abusers'. Prince Harry also insists he would have physically fought Prince William in Nottingham Cottage if he hadn't been receiving therapy, criticises King Charles III's parenting and makes a cryptic reference to 'a lack of scrutiny to my family towards a lot of things'.

I agree with Richard 100% !! Harry just needs to grow up and get over himself, maybe do some positive and useful things.
Always appreciate Richard's reporting.
Richard articulates the thoughts my head is screaming. So, thank you! Harry needs to be confronted with the inaccuracy of his accusations.
Always on point. Harry wants us to believe he's so much happier now but the reality is happy people are not resentful and trying to take others down. That is the realm of the sad and dysfunctional. The man needs real therapy sans mushrooms. I do wonder if Charles and Camilla ever apologized to the boys or Diana for what they did. Cheating and affairs are very painful for the children and spouse.
Love Richards freestyling interview technique. The analysis is a bit daft. Harry's story is more about the ethics and the power dynamics that papers like the Mail use in order to make a buck. Now Harry uses the same tactics against them, and it shows in this analysis. Perhaps it's time for a some kind of mea culpa from the media about how they keep on messing with this family in general and with this prince in particular. Who were those paparazzi that kept on taking pictures of Diana when she crashed? Who are the reporters that keep on distorting the real lives of the people they report on? Time for a purge?
The condensed version: William and Catherine tried to warn Harry about Meghan, Harry ignored them, they were proven correct, the rest is history.

The truth is usually somewhere in the middle - and far less sensational than both sides of the story we all see. It’s all down to money within the media inc papers, publishers, social media, streaming services etc.

Maybe family members like Kate should have set the record straight about crygate that Megan did not make Kate cry, it was the opposite. The confusing part for me, an American who listened to the Oprah interview, was that he says they never called the monarchy racist. If they did not, then why accept an award for calling out the monarchy for structural racism? And they did - it was implied by Meeeghans facial expressions and in the words she said. Also, they both had plenty of time to correct it and never did.

Bingo. Plus, if he thinks Meghan’s gotten bad press or death threats! As far as I know, Camilla never once whinged about it in public, smartly never styled herself Princess of Wales (even though of course she was entitled to it), and simply accepted that, well, being accepted was going to be a very heavy lift. Which she then did. It took decades. I can’t see Charles being ok with a strategy of ripping Harry down to build Camilla up. Harry has been his own worst enemy sometimes. I remember Irresponsible Party Boy Harry before he was remade into Harry The Good Soldier. The palace cleared up after him more often than not. If they do it too much, they come in for criticism of kicking things under the rug.
Being a royal is a rough road sometimes. I suspect it’s why Kate and William spent a long time deciding whether this was going to work, because face it, she was sort of going to step into Diana’s shoes, and they needed to make sure that this would be in a good way and not a bad way. On the face of it, she is doing a very good job.

The MAIN reason for this whole debacle is Markle's bullying. The Sussexes were angry that the Palace refused to say that Markle's bullying never happened. Why did the palace refuse? Racism? No, because it's TRUE that Markle was an abusive bully to her staff, Catherine's staff, Harry's staff, the Queen's secretary, the Palace chef. I think the 'never hugged him', should be taken with a grain of salt. As the ' I never got to ride a bike' story. Proved to be wrong.
Charles was a very affectionate father who hugged and showed much warmth and affection to his children, as much as Diana did. There are many photos and videos where you see Charles showing warmth and affection to both his sons. There are photos of them riding push bikes which again refutes Harry’s claims of not being able to ride pushbikes at his home when young.
Its pretty ironic that he told his dad not to marry Camilla but heaven forbid his father and brother have an opinion on his choice of bride really pathetic

Harry said to Tom Bradby in the recent interview, that he barely remembers his childhood from before his mother’s tragic accident. “I mentally just wiped all those memories out, probably as a defence mechanism.” he said.
Could it possibly be that Harry, who immediately upon waking, had just received the most devastating news of his young life, might simply just not recall whether his father hugged him or not?
He is making his father out to be a cold fish, which he isn’t, judging by all the photos of him being affectionate with both his sons. But I suppose to a young Harry, in comparison to his overly affectionate mother, he might deduce that. After all, he was still creeping into his mother’s bed in the early hours of the mornings for cuddles when he was twelve. So he might well have felt deprived of hugs following his mothers demise. But Charles wasn’t as demonstrative as Diana and it is unfair and unreasonable of the now adult Harry to blame him for that. She had suffered a cold and unloving childhood when her mother left the family home and sadly lost custody of her four children. Charles had spent his formative childhood years at boarding school.
According to Harry himself, up to the age of 12, he remembers little to nothing of his childhood from all the years before that age. Just from the age of 12 or 13 to present day.
So where is he getting all his information from? The media perhaps?
It can’t be from family or friends because he has always said he refused to talk about his mother with anyone. It was too painful and he didn’t see the point. Because of his refusal to face up to the fact of his mother’s death, his brother William suggested he should seek therapy.

But, when he talks about the leaks through the media, I have a hard time believing him. I lost my dad young and my best friend’s husband lost his dad in a car accident when he was only 14 (the accident was caused by a drunk driver). Losing your parent when you are still so young and growing up without them is very traumatic, however, you have to pick yourself up and go on. Harry is 38 and is a father himself. The loss of a parent never goes away but at some point it has to recede into the manageable past so that you can live your life without being obsessed.

The only thing I got from the interview is Harry's loose relationship with the truth. As far as Harry is concerned he can't let the truth get in the way of a good story which he has embellished with dramatic licence, eg Kate's reaction to Meghan at the afternoon tea and Camilla's desperation for the crown. If Harry hoped these interviews would put his image on a better footing, he has made a disastrous mistake as he and his wife are the ones who have come off worse than ever. I don't see how the RF can make an form of reconciliation with these two. He has not accepted any responsibility for his actions. Harry does not understand the concept of privacy and personal responsibility. I don't blame the RF at all for keeping him at a distance.

The Palace hugely underestimated Meghan's threat to the monarchy from the start, and continues to hold off neutralising her, presumably because they worry that this might make Harry worse. But he's going to get worse anyway. Charles should now act as King, not as a father, and do everything necessary to protect his family, the monarchy, the country and the Commonwealth from this evil trollop.

I've been wondering about this. She clearly wrote bits herself (sings with seals, lip gloss, broken necklace etc). She doesn't appear to be doing anything to get Harry the help he clearly needs with his mental health. She must know by now that Harry is in a PR nightmare of their joint making.
