Do you agree with Richard and Charlotte's assessments of the Netflix show?
They are two despicable human beings. They have monetized their grievances, trashed the late Queen's legacy and slandered the Royal family. The Queen devoted her whole life to the Commonwealth focusing on inclusiveness. The Harkles are destroying that legacy, as though it never happened. Someone has to demand evidence. If it's just ignored, they win. And that's what they're hoping for. They'll just move on to the next sale of their debacle.
Just a correction, Richard said that Harry and William are 3 years apart in age and it’s actually 2 years.

I think Richard and Charlotte should put pressure on the Royal Family to deal with the situation rather than expect the British public to put up with being constantly belittled and lied about by the Sussexes. I don't see why we are expected to keep supporting the Royal Family when they are not supporting our reputation worldwide. I must say I find King Charles rather weak and pathetic to allow for this slow-mo car crash to continue unchallenged.

I had a VERY traumatic childhood, with extremely abusive parents. I'm 38, the same age as Harry. There comes a point in your life where you need to stop being a victim and take the reins of your own life. Yes, a traumatic childhood will affect you negatively for the rest of your life BUT it's still YOUR life and what you make of it. As an adult, you have choices, especially if you're literally one of the most priviledged people in the world. You cannot keep whinning forever, you CHOOSE whether to move forward (with your ups and downs) or stay stuck forever. It seems like he's chosen to stay stuck in victimhood.

She was envious, she wanted to be above the Queen, at times. The problem with William is that Catherine, not Meghan, is the heir's wife. Watch tapes of them all before everything flared up. He waves over to encourage her because that is what she wanted. Coquette is the word that comes to mind. But none of it works. Charles must realise they have to go. Friends in Europe and Scandinavia are horrified by the portrayal of a raging racist UK. A little history:- in the 1920's, my 16 year old grandmother had a black boyfriend, a West African Immigrant's son, loved by everyone. Mixed marriages were common from around the 1860's when escaped US slaves came here as refugees. One foot on British soil meant they were free. In essence fleeing NY onto a British ship and signing as crew meant full escape, once they sailed. NY had banned slavery but if the Southern farmers 'caught' their escaped 'property', then NY law meant they had to hand escapees back to their 'owners'. Taking flight onto a British ship was an escape route and on arrival they prospered totally free. Many in the North of England will have a black relative as big families were common at that time. History is just that. We evolve, we move forward. The UK truly is a mix of races. To be so despised by Harry and Meghan is bewildering. The Nation loved them. Now, I hope they never return. Enough is enough.

I didn’t see her mocking the Queen or the protocol. The whole discussion was about her not being prepared. So, she gave an example. To me she was making fun of herself, saying that she curtsied like she saw in Medieval Times Tournament because she didn’t know what to do and how to do it properly.

I cannot understand why anyone could think that what this couple are doing on a world platform is not horrendous. Reminder: they are earning millions of dollars out of family problems! I agree with Charlotte on many counts, Harry seems to think he was Diana's only child, disregarding her REAL LOVE for William as well. Meghan was not Harry's only girlfriend, and most people who would meet someone for the first time would be cordial but not huggy kissy as Meghan seemed to expect. They did not know her! And as far as Meghan being like Diana, well, recollections do vary but I remember that Diana was completely opposite of Meghan.

I am American. I am Californian. I want to extend an apology for the disrespect being paid Britain, her Royal Family and her people. I believe the disrespect and intolerance being labeled as “racism “ is bottom line a cultural ignorance. I have immediate family who are expats and have often “put my foot in it” when mingling in their country. My English friends are continually “tickled “ by my goofs. But, I wish to respect and embrace the differences and honor the richness of each culture. When you add disregard for elders, the family unit and wrap it all up with a mean spirit, you emerge with a very broken pair. The best response is to move on without giving any credence. As a person from a commonwealth country New Zealand, I believe they are attacking the commonwealth because none of us wanted them when they were doing megxit. We love having the RF visit and the Princes Trust has done great work here, the late Queen, King Charles and Prince William showed great support for our country after the Christchurch earthquakes, the mosque attack and the pandemic to name a few things. But there was no way when they mentioned maybe moving here that we wanted them and the cost they would've created.

As a historian who minored in international relations while earning my BA, it has long baffled me that MEghan never gets challenged over all she has claimed not to know and understand by the press and/or spitting-mad Wildcats fed up with her insulting their alma mater and bringing dishonor with her ignorance act!!! Northwestern is Midwestern Ivy, and there is ZERO chance she came out of a program of study in the field of international relations but somehow never learned about the royal family in the pole position as our staunchest ally in the "special relationship"! For that matter, the same applies to doing one of their programs in an embassy intern job without learning the protocols taught even to the lowliest peons to prepare for interacting with heads of state and various dignitaries with all sorts of cultural customs having to be respected. My question is why then did she do that deep curtsey at the Queen's funeral - even deeper than Catherine's, Sophie's and Louise's? That said, perhaps she was merching her shoes - the label/name was seen on the bottom of one of the shoe's? I think not only is Harry claiming his mother's memory, Markle is co-oping it, which I think is her endgame. Markle is going to monetize Diana. I read sometime ago, that when Harry introduced Markle to the Spencer's he tried to push this - via asking them if they also saw how much Markle was like Diana. Whereupon, the Spencer's said no that she is not like Diana, and further added that she would have trouble adjusting to royal life. Additionally, Earl Spencer spoke to him more than once about not marrying Markle. Interestingly, Markle never mentioned that as racist? I suggest that the Spencers not acknowledging this symbiotic relationship between Diana and Markle would be bad for her brand. Meghan seems to expect everyone to operate to her liking, failing which people are then labeled as lacking, disappointing, etc. Kate was probably as uncomfortable with M's effusiveness as M was with Kate's supposed "coldness". But we don't hear Kate saying anything of that sort, do we? I think because Kate knows that that's just life! You meet people; you have awkward encounters; you grow into relationships, sometimes easily, sometimes painfully; you make mistakes and learn from them; you have sad and happy moments. You carry on.
For M, every single encounter, every single disappointment, every single awkward moment is an EVENT. It has to have its own soundtrack and spotlights and must be watched by and known to millions around the world. She thinks her inner life is one of a kind, special, unlike any other, documentary-worthy. Of course this very likely means she has no space for other people's feelings or views.

I lost my mother at 13 and have never recovered, I miss her constantly and am happily married with teenagers! It’s so horrible and disturbing that so many people treat losing a parent as a teenager as somehow not a big loss. So many people “adultify” teens and expect us to have got over a massive loss because they can’t handle dealing with a bereaved teenager. William’s loss was just as devastating as Harry’s. It was so offensive that right at the beginning of the first episode there was all this coverage of the Queen and Diana and none of William and Charles. Harry just cherry-picks family members as MM does, and pretends they don’t exist or were nothing to him.

They usually still have their partner, other children and can (if they are young) have more children in the future if they want to. (Losing an only child would be more comparable to losing a parent in my opinion).
A CHILD who loses a parent loses 50% of their security in an instance. A mother/father can never be replaced, you only have one and can never create another. You can not handle your emotions as well as an adult, may develop anger issues, trust issues etc.
The child may be alone (no other siblings or older siblings who already moved out) with the remaining parent, copying with all the grief, having to support the parent at a young age emotionally, financially etc. It shapes you as a person and affects your relationships.
I will never understand why this aspect isn't more debated and understood and frankly I feel that many people are very unempathatic, comparing it to divorce etc which is totally different! I think you can only understand and relate if you've experienced it yourself.
