Do you wonder why Canadians are poor, will this is a perfect example. Contract out the work to the lowest bidder and get rid of the union so employees don't have the right to negotiate collectively for fair wages and benefits.
Canadians are not poor when their house are worth 800k in average genius...
so which manager runs the bargaining unit then?
The csn union is responsible for Amazon leaving. Shame on you that’s all you deserve you dummies smh 🤦♂️
can you explain why the union is responsible?
@@CheekyBird888Why do think? The fact you question it means you do little self reflection
@@user-ck6uw4rn8n rather than being condescending, maybe YOU can explain why the Union is responsible? what does "self-reflection" have to do with this anyway? Im not the union nor am I responsible, so choose your words carefully.
@@CheekyBird888look at what happened with post canada, the union was ruining them because they didn’t want to work bc of wage. Amazon doesn’t want that to happen so they’ll just close the warehouses in quebec
@ Maybe Amazon needs to pay a fair living wage. They can certainly afford it! I have more sympathy for small business with very tight profit margins, but Amazon has so much money, they don't know what to do with it. Bezos is the dictionary definition of "greed"
Great job unions. No skill job demanding everything under the sun.
Congrats you played yourself. Costing all jobs, canadian payroll taxes, and investments.
If they the workers have the right to have a union, then they, Amazon, have the right to not have one. Works both ways. It's not mandatory in Canada to have a union is it?
wrong. an employer must accept the union vote. this is part of the separation of powers.
Shes just upset union dues not being paid! Im union member, and mine has done fu k all for me other than take my 1400$ annually tonsqaubble and paybfor their convention trip on the other side of the continent!
Been there done that
And what will Unions do when all decent business leaves Quebec?
The problem here was the demand for a 30 percent increase from $20 to $26 per hour. It was unreasonable. Has minimum wage ever jumped 30 percent in one moment? If it did how many thousands of companies would close. The union killed 1700 jobs because it was unreasonable. I pity the workers who were not in the unionized locations the most. They lost their jobs because of someone elses stupidity and greed.
Now they have more free time to go after their "Rights"
Workers have the right to unionize. Business has the right to not want unions.
What do expect from a province that opened pot shops that wanted a union two weeks after opening 😂. And are owned by the government???
Anyway More jobs for Ontario!!
Well, no point having Prime now. No more One day shipping.
It is gonna take days cuz most likely the main warehouse will be relocated in Tonronto now?
We get same day shipping in Chicago cause we are at the main hub in the center of the country
They're going back to the model that they had pre 2020. One day delivery was available then.
Will buy from Bestbuy from now one for any electronics. Screw Amazon...
When they shipped my 77 inches TV they send a single guy unable to handle the package. It was puncture everywhere but the TV was not damaged because Samsung know how to package a TV.
The only ones that make money off the union or the union bosses union employees pay huge union fees for what
If you tax companies enough or the rich for that matter, they leave.
Like in France….yeh
Unions seem to think they deserve to be payed like doctors for a job anyone on earth can do!
Unions make labor too expensive to be worth it.
Amazon could come to America, pay the workers much less and get far more productivity, far cheaper taxes and far less regulation!
Company has right to leave. Union has right to fight back. Don't think this is unfair. Just pure business.
no. an employer cannot question a union vote.
This is what you get for messing with Trump. This is just the start.
This is what happens when the union gets to greedy and always demanding unrealistic things.
