I like your crochet pattern. I'm going to try this because I love microbraids but it is becoming very time consuming so this seems like a nice option. We were doing crochet braiding when i was in high school in the 80's and I hated being able to see the obvious crochet when the hair starts getting old. After about a week or two it seems all you end up with are obvious cornrows with hair hanging off it it. Thank you for showing us how to keep the hair looking more natural and how to keep it from sliding out. If I decide to do this over the weekend, I'll let you know how it it turns out. Oh, and im doing the hair that gets curly when wet or. Not as tight of a curl as what you installed on this video so, hopefully, it wont slip out.

These braids are so beautiful. Thank you for sharing your techniques. I always wanted to know how to keep the hair from slipping. It makes sense to tie the additional knots to secure the hair to the braid. Also, thanks for the tips on how to prevent the frizzy hair when splitting The curly hair and also putting the hair through the braid and not under the cornrow braid

I haven't done crochet braids since maybe 2000/2001. It was easy to dip them because the head I was doing was smal. My baby has a big head AND she's crazy tender headed. THANK YOU for a different way to braid her hair before installing the hair. 😍🤗😍

My apologies if you have already covered this. First, I absolutely LOVE this style! How do you care for it? Is there a certain way you should tie it up at night to keep it from getting frizzy? Should you use the mousse to style it so it doesn't get frizzy? How often should you use the mousse? And how do you take them down? Thank you!
