- My 2007 C6 corvette completely straight piped from the headers back I think the LS2 sounds fantastic without any restrictions if you would like to see a full review/ more revs and drive by's please let me know!

I have a 2010 zr1 just installed stainless works headers, cat elimination, and it has 2 bullet style mufflers with tips and remote control silencer muffler valves. The car has bolt ons installed like lower 14% pulley, intake, tuning. I believe my car is way too loud and the exhaust note just sounds cheap. Any suggestions on how to return some clean deep notes? Those bullet mufflers were already on the car I installed the headers because I blew honeycomb catylatic ceramic out the back so figured I’d delete and add headers. It’s just to EFen loud. Suggestions?

For a full removal of the cats and mufflers and just put in piping , probably around 400 I don't remember exactly what I paid

Everybody else is cookie cutter X-pipe, Cats, Corsa bullshit.
The only thing I'd do If I were you is weld in some V-bands. The ones that fit all the way over the tube. Makes dropping the trans a lot easier.
On my truck, I didn't even do an H pipe. I thought about either an H, or a boom tube setup, but they just tend to be a bitch to install, so fuck it. True dual muscle car sound!

Is the x pipe the one that deletes the cats or is it the headers?
Technically it's the headers,the stock cats can't fit when you have the longer headers, albeit you can do a cat delete with stock headers tho

This sounds sooooo nice. I just got my c6 vette about a month ago and want to take it to get it striaght piped. What all did you tell them go do when you got there if I want your same exact sound.
when you install long tubes its gonna get rid of the factory cats so just get straight header back pipes and remove the mufflers

You get a tune after headers and they will get rid of the cel as part of the tune
Michael Johns can you just wipe the CEL with a scanner or does a shop with software have to eliminate the sensor? I want to eliminate CATS now that we aren’t smog testing in. wa but the light would drive me nuts.

Silly as it may sound, I'd really like to make my 09, 5.3 Tahoe sound like this.
Not silly at all man. A buddy of mine has the same truck with a resonator & muffler delete. Sounds badass. Nice deep rumble, loud when you hit it but tame at a warm idle. Awesome sound without wasting hundreds on unnecessary aftermarket exhaust setups.
@@lsx2ss The resonator is very smart. Most people don't know how much better cars sound with a resonator especially when the cats are removed.

Beautiful Sound. Amazing! How do you over come the check engine lights from the rear o2 sensors being deleted? I have the same set up as you, LS2, Texas Speed headers, Straight pipe all the way out the back, except I have an x pipe instead of an H. My car is dumping a ton of fuel because the rear o2 sensors think the cats arent working properly so its dumping excessive fuel to keep them cool since it thinks they are over heating. I know there are multiple solutions, I'm just curious what yours was?
Jacob David Garcia sorry for the late reply and the only way to fix it besides the obvious (putting on cats) is to get a tune ,a good tuner will be able to get your air/fuel ratio right !
