"Strength is never a weekness", words to live by. Coincidentaly i used that quote today with the kids i coach in the gym!💪 that aside i have a houbei that my girlfriend got me for christmas years ago, my favourite wallet to date and probably the last wallet i will ever need. Keep doing what you are doing man!🤘
That's such a great video for a newbie! I wanted to start leatherworking, but have been totally overwhelmed with tools selection. Now I know what is truly necessary for my first project! A big thank you!
Thanks a lot for the video! Super interesting and informative!💪🏼 Do you have any recomendations for making a punch bag (boxing)? Leather type and thickness, treatemts, thread type and stitch patterns, as well as needles? Thank you🤝🏼💪🏼
Hand stitching a punching bag would be a major task! I’d use a milled leather around 5-6 inches. Milled leather would be a little softer when hitting it without gloves. I’d use thick veg tan skirting for the attachment points. Stainless steel rated d-rings. Solid copper rivets to attached veg tan to the body of the bag
Brother I had no idea you had a youtube channel. Really cool buddy. It will be nice to watch you work. I recently bought one of your topsider minis and let me tell you brother that little thing is amazing. I had a minimalist wallet already but got even more minimal with your topsider mini. Keep killing it brother. 👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸👊👊🤝
Great video and info, thank you for sharing - what would be an inexpensive (size) needle to start off with(beginner); even a John James needle size(s) that is/are used most often, standard ?
Brand new to leathercraft and building my toolset. When you talk about pricking irons and mention 3 or 5, do you mean "mm" or "#" as listed on the websites you've linked? Thanks for putting this together, being brand new this is super helpful.

Any tips on burnishing ‘Crazy Horse’ leather edges?
Thanks again.
Don’t? Haha jk. But seriously chrometan is a pain to burnish. Definitely recommend painting or dying those edges instead.
