That's beautiful love it! I need to learn to do that. I've seen a lot of bad comments on that tassel thing. I love what you made your mother-in-law! She's going to love it!!!! It's beautiful!! Be well stay safe! Happy Crafting!
TY! I hope you do try a virus scarf or shawl...they are so addictive to make and pretty! I am going to make one more video on them making the "virus meets granny" style. Love them so much!!
TY!!! Cardboard (old faithful) will definitely work just as well if not better. It's weird how the inner part of the yarn is just not at the same level of the outer yarn ends. Gotta pull real tight to make up for that.
You did a great job with this, but I don’t think I would ever need it. But, I live in L.A. and the UPS man just dropped off my.Diamond Press orders from HSN Craft Day. Wahoo! Going to go spray the box with disinfectant and bring in a little later and have myself some fun today! Lol
Wow, that's amazing! I live one state over and it routinely takes 10-14 days for my HSN items to get here. My order, even today, still says "packaging"🙄
Yay!! That's so fast...I wonder where my stuff is! LOL! Yes, disinfect...even the packaging in the box! You never know, better safe then sorry! Enjoy!!! I'm excited for you!
THat's a bummer...they'll keep stuff in packaging for days and weeks at times. I'm sure yours won't be like that, but I think at times they actually do "sell out" and continue to sell knowing they can get a few more in after a while.
VianneyCreates Yes, I must definitely disinfect as I am HIGH risk because of my age (75) and heart issues. I sprayed the box with disinfectant and let sit, then cleaned everything inside with Chlorox wipes. Who knew it would come to this?
I did the second one in the exactly same way and it came out way better...like i said in the video...you just have to pull it really well when you put on the first piece of yarn (the one that holds it together in the middle). It still isn't worth the money, a piece of cardboard will make the same tassel...or better.
Thank you so much, Katie! I hope she will, she lives in Alaska and in almost 16 years of marriage...I've only ever seen her once in real life. It's hard for me to know her style, but I think she will like it! The tassel loom is super awkward, the second one came out better after I realized I needed to pull it super duper tight so the inner wrapping came up closer to the outer wraps. weird.
VianneyCreates that is sad to hear that you don’t get to be with your MIL. I was married twice, contrary to the MIL syndrome, I had 2 really nice MIL’s. I miss them both. Have a great day !
@@kathiemagee5594 That's so nice. Yeah, I don't have any of the MIL stories...good or bad! LOL! I really don't have much of a relationship, maybe that's for the best! Who knows.
Awwww.... I haven’t done a tassel in years.... thanks for reminding me how to make them ..... gracias amiga!!!!
I hadn't, either, but I felt like it needed something because it ended up being a little short....tassels hit the spot! (:
Great tutorial & tassels. I’ve had the tassel loom for a while and never used it! TFS😍
The shawl is beautiful! I might have to find that pattern. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much! I have been making these shawls like crazy! They are so addicting to make bc they are so easy and pretty!

I hope she does! I had fun making it and it feels nice. Yeah, I think people can get a better result from a piece of cardboard...and it's free!! LOL!
This is so pretty, I’m ordering yarn to attempt to make. Thank you so much!

Thank you for your review and honesty. I think cardboard what does the same. thank you for sharing.

You did it totally different by attached it to the s Craft first it makes great tassels as always you do a fantastic job

The shawl is very pretty. That tassel thingy...I know I don’t want it. Hahaha...looked very awkward to work with. Your MIL will love it !!

Liked the video. Something l would not buy. I would use the cardboard. Save money for something else. It’s pretty.
Yeah, the cardboard/old school way is easier and it's free!! LOL!! TYSM!
🤔 I don’t think this product as innovative as it is, is worth my investment.
Wrapping yarn around cardboard all the way. 😊
The old standby...free cardboard...is probably best! (:
make the tassel first, then attach it to the scarf hihihihhi
I just wanted less steps, but it's basically the same amount of work!
