  • Back to back cruises are a fantastic way to maximise the length of your holiday with as little hassle as possible. They also allow you to experience more ports and itineraries than you could on just one cruise.
    Watch the video to learn more about back to back cruises and why they're one of the best ways to cruise. Have you done a back to back cruise before?
    I cruised on a back to back voyage on Radiance of the Seas, starting with a 14 night cruise to New Zealand from Sydney return, and then an 8 night cruise to Hobart, Adelaide and Melbourne, returning to Sydney again.
    The next back to back voyage on my radar is an Azamara Mediterranean adventure for 22 nights, starting in Lisbon, Portugal and ending in Civitavecchia, Italy for Rome.
    I hope you enjoyed learning more about back to back cruises. If you have any questions or comments, please let me know below. If you haven't already subscribed I would appreciate if you could!

      It’s a great way to cruise! It doesn’t need to be too pricey, sometimes it can be great value too. Maybe one day you can give it a go 😊

    Just booked two 9 day Back to back cruises on NCL Viva. Lisbon to Rome Rome to Venice. 9 days in the Haven and 9 days in a suite. Normally we cruise on RCL and love Star Class service but the new Prima class seemed to be as good if not better. Love the race track! Hoping to compare the Suite with the Haven and RCL with NCL. It is a win win situation no matter what! Any day cruising is a great day!

    We've booked a South Hampton to Rome combined with Rome, Greek Isles to Barcelona for Fall of 2022 on Norwegian. Have done many cruises but this will be out first back to back.

      Fantastic. Back to back cruises really are so good - knowing that you'll be continuing on at the end of the first cruise is an incomparable feeling.

    G’Day Mate, I have booked a B2B cruise from 10th to 13th May for a 3 night comedy cruise then a 12 night Fiji cruise from the 13th to 25th May. We r departing from BNE in both cases, do you have any insights for the process at the new BNE Cruise terminal. Cheers Tony

      Hi Tony! It depends on the cruise destinations normally, and in your case it sounds like you’ll need to disembark fully in order to go through immigration for your second cruise. But they’ll confirm all the exact details onboard. Happy cruising!

      It’s a beautiful country, I loved it. The sounds down South are incredible but the whole country is amazing, so picturesque.

    I'm keen to see how back to back cruises will operate in Australia, with new covid requirements. Will be interesting to see how the cruise lines deal with the (expected) need for a negative covid test within 72 hours of the second cruise - will they test you onboard? Keenly awaiting news of how this will work.

      Agreed! It’ll be very interesting to see how this is handled going forward. I suspect we’ll need to first know what the approved operating policies are for cruise lines in Australia - and that will likely determine how back to backs will be treated. Interesting times ahead.

    One thing I may not like when we do our back to back is that new friends we have met will be leaving!

    • @TheCruiseandTravelGuy
      @TheCruiseandTravelGuy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This happened to me! Our first cruise was so good - met amazing people and made friends that I'm still connected with today, but the second cruise was quite different. We ended up missing our little group from the first one 😆

    Do you get a discount for taking a second or third cruise in a row?

    • @TheCruiseandTravelGuy
      @TheCruiseandTravelGuy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately not directly from the cruise lines. However I can organise competitive pricing, and if it’s a back to back then I’ll have a little more room to move with pricing too.

    How do you book a back-to-back cruise online?

    • @TheCruiseandTravelGuy
      @TheCruiseandTravelGuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You just book both cruises as you would book an individual cruise. The trick is trying to allocate yourself the same stateroom on both voyages. It can help to use a travel agent as depending on the cruise line, they can see the backend of the booking system and it’s easier for them to see a range of cabins that are available.
