0:31 Awesome! Thank you for the detailed sizing info! It's very helpful! All the other shoe review youtubers like to use the term "true to size" without providing any real reference point. For someone new to running, "true to size" means nothing.
You are right! And you're welcome! :) I've been there... With " that" true-to-size in the past... That's why I always prefer to say: _tts for ME_ and my feet and my taste... I prefer slightly more relaxed and others want them to be like socks in their feet... And I don't jugde them... they have them how they want. I just prefer to protect my feet over the maximum performance that I could get maybe having them like that.
Thin outsole is not really the problem. The glue is the problem. I have the original supernova with Continental outsole. It was thick and the grip was good but the problem is the glue..it breaks apart and separates from the boost foam. I glue them back after every run.
When the sole is too thin, the glue won't be able to "stay" in one place (being less rigid where they make contact), that is why I raised the matter with every occasion, because they do go hand in hand these two. At the end of the day... They just sacrificed the value for money, looking to cut the costs all the time... And people should know that. Thanks for sharing your experience here (and sorry to hear it ...). I'm sure that more people will find it useful your comment (I did). You just confirmed my fears about those thin soles...
I am wearing these. These are really comfortable.. OutSole is grippy and yes, its thin I got it around 50$ Using it only 10 says. Didn't faced any issues yet I am also afraid that these thinner outsole wont last But for now they r amazing midsole and other parts are working perfectly ❤
Depending of the use you are planning for them, they can last or not. As running sneakers I see them with a big deficit if they are used outside. For indoors, on a carpet (gym) they can be OK but, on a treadmill over 2 months... they might start to lose those outsoles (rubber over rubber creates more friction and more likely to start to peel off). I.E. I had Nike InVincible 2 that were amazing at first (for casual wear with joggers few times in a week) but, after 2-3 weeks of use they started to peel off bit by bit till eventually the gaps were too big for wearing them without being noticed by the people. That's why from my experience more rubber & thicker outsoles will bring better value for money in time. I even started to believe that I'm even willing to ignore better cushioning in sneakers in order to get more lifetime from a pair, if it happens to have better outsoles... but, the cushioning is not that "special". In the end foam is foam and it will eventually get softer... I wish you good luck with them and maybe you will get the value for money that you want from them. P.S: As alternative for the same price (~50€/$ with a discount somewhere online) you have Adidas Duramo RC/Ultrabounce/Duramo SL and those models have better outsoles IMHO...
They are in between 25.7-26.5cm (and around 26cm being when not swell). Remember that those values are approximated and that the feet during training will swell quite a bit. Never take your sneakers too small! They will create pressure points all over your feet. Just an advice, of course...
Hi, I am not good at understanding your language. I would like to ask you, is it new to walking and weight-lifting exercises, and is there a better option than Nike or any other company?
For walking they are OK, but for weightlifting you need different kind of sneakers. Those have to be with a firm midsole, in order to have a good stability with them in your feet. For that sport exists dedicated footwear (see Adidas "Powerlift 5"). With the sneakers from this video you might risk injuring yourself, not to mention that they are also "too bulky" for that kind of sport. This pairs seen in this video are models that I didn't like them very much even for running. The soles are too thin in them and the longevity of the shoe will be affected by that (they won't last to long). For walking & running try finding something like "Adidas Supernova M", those have better soles and good cushioning overall. I hope this comment it helps you somehow !
@@EasyLifeES Well, thank you for the answer. What do you think of Nike Air Winflo 9 or Nike Air Winflo 10 and New Balance Fresh Foam X Evoz v3? If so, do you think they are excellent for this type of exercise?
Both Nike Air Winflo 10 & NB Evoz v3 seem to be very interesting as a running sneakers (they are on my shortlist for a while not but hopefully in the future I will have them on the channel) but, I haven't checked so far... so I can't say much about them. As a first impression both look decent enough, for the price that they have. Try to find them in a store to see yourself if they are as you like or not. I mean the fit is very important. Check if they aren't to narrow or wide for your feet. If you find any kind of pressure points I recommend to skip that particular model.
I already bought this shoes at $74,24 (in indonesia) from $126,61 (higher than above before discounted) i had waited 3 months to buy this shoes because i liked the supernova series because it fits to my feet and comfortable, men i should watch this video before buying this shoes
Sorry to hear that, not all youtubers are saying what is really important for the people. I try to be different...honest and fair all the time. IF the shoe is good i will say it loud and clear and IF is NOT... again... loud and clear without hiding things from you guys.
Hello, do you think those Supernovas 2.0 would be good for badminton, on the parquet in the gym? I can get them 40% off, so I think they would be good to replace Duramo SL I use now.
Hi there, For badminton probably they have special dedicated sneakers (I'm not a fan of that sport in particular, so I just speculate). I'm saying that because there, I'm imagine you will need something with extreme control in your feet to change very quick your position from one place to another without being that footwear in your way. On parquet in the gym I give Supernova 2.0 a longevity of 2 hours maybe 1 day if you have "a lucky pair", till you go with those soles in your back pocket of your shorts considering how thin those soles are and also how sticky is that rubber composite that they have created for wet conditions on asphalt while you are running (that if you don't twist your ankle with the bulky-softer-wider midsole of the Supernova 2.0 has). I basically really encourage you to use "dedicated footwear" for all the sports that you are considering to do in the future. Those have "special properties" and are a bit more safe to use. No footwear is perfect, but at least if is "dedicated" it is still I class above over the non-dedicated ones. Can be used the normal footwear, but you will lose performance and endurance... because they won't fit your "needs" that sports are requiring. I hope this comment is useful somehow for you! P.S: Try googling "badminton sneakers" and I'm sure you will discover dedicated "unknown sneakers brands" that are making this kind of footwear probably for some years now.
@@EasyLifeES Thank you for the detailed answer. I play recreational badminton, but I will use your advice and not try running shoes on parquet. There are profi sneakers for badminton, I will try to find something.
The early Supernova, Glide 9 2017, was probably the best general running shoes ever made. None of the newer Adidas shoes can even match that magical blend of cushioning and response. The newer supernova 2, supernova + , pureboost and ultraboost are rubbish in comparison
Yes, I've been saying this for years now... They lost the quality continually. I kept hoping to see a new good product and is somehow "again" worst than before. They don't care anymore about the performance, they just care to reduce the cost by all means and still sale them at a higher price than before. They care to look cool, to have them on TH-cam trough some well-known channel's and that will be it from my POV unfortunately.
It all depends for what you need them and your weight, how is the width of your feet (Adidas runs narrow to regular in general) and few other things: - casual running/walking - trail running - semi pro running - marathons - or just lifestyle sneakers with basic cushioning. "Great cushioning" Adidas doesn't have it in this moment unfortunately from what I've test it. Other brands do a better job in that regard.
For your weight something like NB 1080v12 or Vongo v5 or even 880v13 (if you need better soles). For more cushioning Asics Superblast. None of them are perfect, but at least they are little bit more reliable when it comes to longevity, comfort and decent cushioning. Try to see yourself how is the fit for you in a store and search them online for the best price that you can find. For examples NB 1080 pair lasted for me around 2 years before the back of the heel started to fall apart... Layer by layer till it remained only a plastic reinforcement because of the friction. In comparison Nike Invincible 2 that have amazing soft midsoles lasted about 5 weeks with occasional use only as a lifestyle sneakers. The soles were still as new but started to peal of in different places in just 1 of the 2 shoes. So, the longevity definitely matters and is important if you care about the value for money that you've paid. Of course errors can happen in any brand/model, but my partner she also had same Nike model like me and her pair in less than 3 weeks of use as lifestyle sneakers, got ripped right in front close to the big toe. Again was the sole, this time it has snapped in one of the shoes. That layer of rubber is way too thin there. I hope this helps you somehow! P.S: If you still have questions don't hesitate to ask.
I encourage you to try them if you can, to check those models at the same time in a store (2 at the same time), because are differences in the midsoles and soles. In specific parts of the midsole some of them will have it more firm to make them more resilient over time and handle bigger body weight. 1080v12 has it the softest and if not mistaken is also the lightest version of that bunch and the rest of them will increase in being more firm according to the price that they have. If you try them 1 by 1 you might not "see" the difference at first. But is definitely there. Also the soles will have more or less rubber surface depending the model that it is.
What do you think of the adizero X parley shoes they have lightstrike in them and they are half off so only 60 bucks. I want to try that technology I don't have any lightstrike shoes
I only recommend "Lightstrike PRO". Those are something special! "Lightstrike" is nothing memorable. The cushioning for me was less than in Boost... So no point to be used that "Lightstrike", when is clearly a downgrade.
Usually when more weight you have more cushioning you will need to protect your back, knees, ankles and so on. Basically we don't need to be overweight to have those problems. We can be tall and slim, but IF we have over 75kg/~165 lbs we gonna need some cushioning under our feet. Unfortunately, so far Adidas doesn't offer sneakers with enough cushioning for people with "extra needs" (overweight, or arthritis etc). The models that I recommend are the ones that they are call it "max cushioning sneakers" and better IF they have a lower drop. I mean it has to have a similar number in "mm" (more or less) for height on the forefoot and heels also. Because we need to have protection for the entire footbed, not just heels... Max cushioning sneakers: 1. New Balance MoreV4 or MoreV3 2. Nike Invincible Run 2 ("3" is out, but I haven't test it just yet) 3. Asics Nova Blast 3 TR 4. Asics Superblast ... !!! Many are making the error of buying something because they see a big "external stack" on the midsole and they have a big discount, BUT... That is the best way to be quickly rip it off. I hope this helps you somehow!
@@EasyLifeES Thanks I have used Nike in past and ASICS now. I wanted to try Adidas but did not like any of the shoes. Thanks for responding to my query.
@@AjitJoshi686 For me, New Balance remains with the best value for money with "the max cushioning" sneakers. They have better and thicker rubber soles, really good midsoles... They aren't perfect, because nothing is... but I can still recommend them.
That model I don't recommend it even for 5 bucks honestly! The sole is awfully thin! I really recommend to try something with a bit ticker sole, at least. Try finding something in outlet store's. It doesn't matter that is 2-3 years older model. The older ones are much better made! Anything from Ultraboost (except UB21 or UB22) will be a much better deal: UB 1, 5, 20, 19.5, WEB... I hope this is helpful somehow!
BTW what it would be the purpose for them (running; casual use, long number of hours on feet at your job, mixed etc) and how are your feet (narrow/regular/wide; flat feet/small arch & instep/higher arch; your weight), you have problems with your feet and need extra cushioning? Maybe I could help you little bit better.
I just needed a new pair of runners because my previous ones was really uncomfortable and heavy (I think it was called the hoka 1's), after some time of contemplating what to get after watching your video on the supernova 2 I actually got the supernova plus model.
Thank you for the assistance! I've been actually watching videos from your channel and its pretty nice, very detailed reviews and it has a relaxing feel to it. Hoping you'll help more people through your vids
Sorry to hear that. That is why I keep doing these videos and trying to make people aware of the quality that they have...13:55... Thanks for sharing your experience here... Many people will find it useful! I'm sure!
I feel that I've answered to this question so many times so far, but anyway... I personally wouldn't buy them because of the thin soles that have and also I need a better cushioning for my feet... But if you are happy with them... is all good, in the end for you have to be "the right ones". For ME even if they were 5€/$/£ etc I still won't buy them, because they aren't what I need. Just be sure you like them and that is that...
01:56 Sole = Outsole (the rubber compound part of the shoe). Otherwise I will always call it ... midsole (when is the middle part, or the foam part of the sneakers). To avoid any kind of confusion, I will try to remember in the future to call them = outsoles... when the rubber soles are the subject in that situation. But I won't promise anything. 😅
They are make this sneakers in many places in the world, so that is not unusual anymore. You don't have to worry if yours is made in China or Vietnam...
Adidas in general runs narrow to regular. Now depending your age, weight, arch/instep etc those things can all influence the fit in the end. Without trying something with your feet is hard to tell if they are good or not for you. That is why I always encourage people to try them in a store somewhere, just to see if they are for you or not. I just share here my thoughts based on my personal experience with them on my feet for maybe 10 minutes of use indoors or less. At least is a starting point for many of the viewers that don't have direct access sometimes to this products before buying them. Your opinion is also important as everyone else and I'm glad that you decided to share it here. So thanks!
@@farhanbudye I've seen that many are complaining with the longevity of these sneakers (the sole is just " modest") and also some of you guys had problems with the width (for my feet that it wasn't an issue so far). They are entry-level running sneakers, so don't expect the best that you can get. Obviously others are a lot worst. These one are just OK. New Balance and Nike have better sneakers (for me) for around the same price... P.S: I'm glad that you are enjoying these videos!
@@EasyLifeES I am looking for all rounders (running + walking). I’m still trying to figure out which one would be a better option for me. As I’m from India we have less options to choose from New Balance’s range and Asics’s as well. However there’s one I’ve short listed which is Adizero SL those are quite a shoes of which I’ve heard and read about. Also I want my shoes longevity to me more, I thought supernova 2 might just help with it, but after viewing your video that kicked out pretty soon… :p. I was also considering Alphabounce +, but not sure if they’ll perform as they claim to do so and since these shoes have recently came out (Adizero SL, Alphabounce +) I’ll have to be paying full price, so thinking about waiting just that long to get best deal or buy shoes that are couple of years older but were once great to wear.
@@farhanbudye Those Adizero SL are "dedicated running sneakers" and that aspect is very important when it comes to longevity. I mean they are "probably" (I didn't try them just yet) very light weight (without even checking I can tell that they are lighter than others), sometimes are narrower, they are heavily perforated (not OK for casual use), less amount of padding (but maybe even enough for casual use), very thin soles (again... Just modest longevity). Don't get me wrong, as a dedicated running sneakers could be even awesome (I've see that they have Lightstrike Pro midsole - that being my favorite midsole found in Adidas so far), but maybe NOT the best for casual use. I might give them a try in the future to see how they are. Unfortunately I already have few more videos recorded that will be out sooner that these Adizero's if I decide to check them. So it will take some time till will be here. About the other ones, those look more casual (also I haven't try it them). Maybe going for 2 different pairs is a better idea in order to get the best for both intended uses that you need (although this is doubling the price). If you buy them let me know how they are. I personally don't care about the "5 stars reviews" from Adidas webpage if they don't go into details, so a honest opinion like yours is more valuable for me and my public.

Asics GEL-KAYANO™ 28 LITE-SHOW™ - EUR 41.5 - US 8 ok fit
From this moment in order that are posted:
- 2022.04.02 Adidas Ultraboost Predator Accelerator "HP7477" - Size EUR 41 1/3 or 8 USA... true to size, excellent comfort and cushioning in UB (very good value for money)
- 2022.04.12 District Vision x New Balance FuelCell RC Elite v2 "MRCELDV2" Size EUR 41.5 or 8 USA... tts, the best comfort and cushioning in all the sneakers that I've tried so far, Adidas Adios Pro 2.0 has slightly better bounce (as a running sneakers, good value for money)
- 2022.04.20 Nike Zoom Fly 4 "DQ4993-010" EUR 41 - USA 8... TTS, great comfort, good cushioning, cons for ME: the heel that bends to exterior if you put extra pressure on them, good value for money
- 2022.05.01 Adidas Supernova M Size EUR 41 1/3 or 8 USA... true to size, OK cushioning, great comfort, very good value for money
- 2022.05.07 Adidas ADIZERO X ALLBIRDS 2.94 KG CO2E... size EUR 41 1/3 - USA 8 TTS... cushioning almost OK, comfort good, not very long lasting, the grip is poor, value for money... not great
- 2022.05.11 Adidas ULTRABOOST 5.0 DNA - tts for me (EUR 41 1/3 or USA 8), Cushioning is OK (could be better), comfort is good, they look long lasting, value for money is OK (if you got them with some discount)... I will call them a "safe buy"!
- 2022.05.22 Adidas Ultraboost 5.0 DNA GX5255 - TTS in EUR 41 1/3 or 8 USA. Good value for money if are on sale. Comfort and cushioning are also good.
- 2022.05.28 Adidas ULTRABOOST 5.0 DNA 2022 Chalk White / Chalk White / Cloud White "GZ0444" - TTS in EUR 41 1/3 or 8 USA. Good value for money if are on sale. Comfort and cushioning are also good.
- 2022.06.07 Adidas 1.0 DNA "GX2944" - True to size (8 USA) same comfort and cushioning like DNA (which is OK, but not great) and the opening a little bit smaller for my feet. It takes more time to get them in.
- 2022.06.19 Adidas ULTRABOOST 22 X PARLEY Non Dyed / Non Dyed / Pulse Blue "GX6635" - 41 1/3 - 8 tts, I don't recommend because they don't lock the foot as they should and the toes are continuously touching the front end of the sneaker which kills all the comfort, also overpriced for what they are
- 2022.06.28 NB FuelCell RC Elite v2 Vibrant Spring Glo / White / Victory Blue "MRCELCG2" 41.5 - 8 tts, expensive but very good for what they are made (best cushioning & comfort so far)
- 2022.07.12 Adidas Ultraboost 20 "EF1042" Core White/Core White/Core Black 41 1/3 -8 US tts slightly narrow (for running size 8 for lifestyle 8.5) Good soft cushioning (but I want more stack) and comfort, sticky sole which I don't like it too much. Best upper from UB
- 2022.07.15 Adidas Ultraboost Web DNA Cloud White/Cloud White/Grey One "GY4167" for these ones go +0.5 size up for running and +1 full size as lifestyle sneakers. Good comfort and cushioning (similar with UB 1 & 5 DNA with better sole). But I still want more stack in that midsole.
- 2022.07.20 New Balance More V3 Eclipse/Vibrant Orange "MMORVO3" . Max cushioning sneakers with great comfort and stack in that midsole ,but with a big problem in that sole. The pieces of rubber are peeling off at short period of time. Otherwise are almost amazing...
- 2022.07.23 Saucony Shadow 6000 Veg Tan Leather Vanilla "S70572-3" - Awesome lifestyle sneakers, very close to perfection (from my POV) just go +0.5 size up and your good. Comfort and cushioning is great. More stack on that midsole would had been amazing.
- 2022.08.01 Adidas Ultra Boost M - TTS (wider than others) - good comfort and cushioning. More stack on that midsole would had been amazing. I do recommend this model. Expensive...
- 2022.08.11 Adidas Ultraboost DNA 19.5 - TTS like Ultra Boost M - great comfort & cushioning. I like it as much as Ultraboost WEB ! I do recommend it! Expensive...
- 2022.09.06 Adidas Solarglide 5 (2022) - TTS. Good cushioning & ok comfort. Don't like it: tongue & sole. I will skip this one...
-2022 09 23 Adidas Supernova 2 (2022) - TTS. Good cushioning & ok comfort. Don't like it: sole. I will skip this one and go for the older 2022 version GX2961 (any color) Supernova M
This is probably the first true review I’ve seen on TH-cam.. we need more like this well done 👏🏻 and thanks for the insights
Thank you very much!
I really appreciate it.
0:31 Awesome! Thank you for the detailed sizing info! It's very helpful! All the other shoe review youtubers like to use the term "true to size" without providing any real reference point. For someone new to running, "true to size" means nothing.
You are right! And you're welcome! :)
I've been there...
@@EasyLifeESo
I am wearing these.
These are really comfortable..
OutSole is grippy and yes, its thin
I got it around 50$
Using it only 10 says. Didn't faced any issues yet
I am also afraid that these thinner outsole wont last
But for now they r amazing midsole and other parts are working perfectly ❤
Very honest & detailed review. Thank you 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you!
I really appreciate it!
Nice, deep and honest review....
Thank you, I really appreciate it!
It's probably TTS for larger sizes too, right?
Yeah, I think so.
glad this video shows up. thanks man
Sure, you're welcome!
now price 55€, february 2023 at Intersport
I personally wouldn't pay 5 bucks on them... They won't last, so I don't recommend them!
They are like a very nice illusion...
Hi! Nice review! How long actually your feet? 255 or 260
They are in between 25.7-26.5cm (and around 26cm being when not swell). Remember that those values are approximated and that the feet during training will swell quite a bit.
Never take your sneakers too small! They will create pressure points all over your feet. Just an advice, of course...
Very good and detailed review
Thanks!
@@EasyLifeES
Well, thank you for the answer.
Hi there,
For badminton probably they have special dedicated sneakers (I'm not a fan of that sport in particular, so I just speculate).
@@Thommo0202 Yeah, is better if you can go for something made for that sport.
You're welcome!
You can try badminton shoes or futsal shoes in that matter cos it allows you to move and turn rapidly.
I was about to buy these shoes but now I changed my mind. ,, CAN YOU SUGGEST ME GOOD(durable) ADIDAS RUNNING SHOES ?
It all depends for what you need them and your weight, how is the width of your feet (Adidas runs narrow to regular in general) and few other things:
- casual running/walking
- trail running
- semi pro running
- marathons
- or just lifestyle sneakers with basic cushioning.
"Great cushioning" Adidas doesn't have it in this moment unfortunately from what I've test it.
Other brands do a better job in that regard.
Don’t buy adidas…
Which shoes would you recommend for around 6'2 190lbs and beginner jogger
@@EasyLifeES is there much of difference between 1080v12 plus 880v13 and 1080v11 plus 880v12?
I encourage you to try them if you can, to check those models at the same time in a store (2 at the same time), because are differences in the midsoles and soles.
In specific parts of the midsole some of them will have it more firm to make them more resilient over time and handle bigger body weight.
1080v12 has it the softest and if not mistaken is also the lightest version of that bunch and the rest of them will increase in being more firm according to the price that they have.
If you try them 1 by 1 you might not "see" the difference at first. But is definitely there. Also the soles will have more or less rubber surface depending the model that it is.
What do you think of the adizero
X parley shoes they have lightstrike in them and they are half off so only 60 bucks.
P.S: The materials on Adizero Parley are not long-lasting. Even for indoors (gym)... I would look for something different. Just my opinion.
Which will good shoes for walking for overweight people? From Adidas ie
Max cushioning sneakers:
1. New Balance MoreV4 or MoreV3
2. Nike Invincible Run 2 ("3" is out, but I haven't test it just yet)
3. Asics Nova Blast 3 TR
4. Asics Superblast
...
They aren't perfect, because nothing is... but I can still recommend them.
what do you think is it a good deal for 52$? it’s currently on sale here in my country. and i think i’ll wear it for casual and lifestyle
@@EasyLifeES thanks for the replay! this is really helpful
@@outofnowhere9915 Sure, you're welcome!
I just got mine for $50 too lol
Hope you see this comment, would you recommend these supernova 2 over the eq21?
I don't know how are those eq21. I never had the chance to try it them, unfortunately.
@@bon4112 A Ok. Great to hear that. So problem solved. :)
"Supernova +" - was a good choice over these Supernova 2's!
Thank you for the assistance! I've been actually watching videos from your channel and its pretty nice, very detailed reviews and it has a relaxing feel to it. Hoping you'll help more people through your vids
I bought these 2 months ago, the back of the heel foam is already torn apart and I don't even run much.
Sorry to hear that.
That is why I keep doing these videos and trying to make people aware of the quality that they have...13:55...
Thanks for sharing your experience here... Many people will find it useful! I'm sure!
Size up or down?
As the video says at 00:01, they are tts so no need to go size up or down with this model.
For me wasn't the case.
I bought these online for $35usd do you think I got a good deal? Thank you
I feel that I've answered to this question so many times so far, but anyway...
I was looking to buy this but I think I will go with Nike Pegasus instead. They cost the same here.
Two words: Smart MOVE :)
What’s your height?
1.76 m and 65 kg
Which sole are you actually referring to?😂
01:56 Sole = Outsole (the rubber compound part of the shoe).
Otherwise I will always call it ... midsole (when is the middle part, or the foam part of the sneakers).
To avoid any kind of confusion, I will try to remember in the future to call them = outsoles... when the rubber soles are the subject in that situation.
But I won't promise anything. 😅
Why does it says made in Indonesia?
They are make this sneakers in many places in the world, so that is not unusual anymore.
You don't have to worry if yours is made in China or Vietnam...
i bought this shoes
under price 4700 🤗

Thanks!
just got a pair for 35 usd
not comfortable, too narow and lack of bounce. but its a personal opinion
So thanks!
That’s one nice watch you have it there. Could you share the watch’s details? @easylife
Thanks!
Is Casio G-Shock GMW-B5000D-1...
@@EasyLifeES thanks very much! Great video as well… got saved from investing my money in these pair of shoes.
