I know I’m two months behind but here you go thab Executing a 900 in "Twisted Edge Extreme Snowboarding" for the Nintendo 64 involves mastering the game's controls and getting a feel for the physics. Here are the steps to help you perform a 900 on the N64: 1. **Select a Character with Good Spin Stats**: Choose a character that has high agility and good trick performance, as this will make spinning easier. 2. **Find a Large Jump**: Locate a large ramp or jump on the course that gives you enough airtime to complete two and a half rotations. 3. **Gain Maximum Speed**: Before hitting the jump, make sure you have as much speed as possible. Use any slopes or speed boosts available on the course. 4. **Prepare to Jump**: As you approach the jump, get ready to press the jump button (usually the A button on the N64 controller). 5. **Initiate the Spin**: As you take off from the jump, press and hold the spin button while pushing the joystick in the direction you want to spin. Typically, you will hold the R button for spins and push the joystick to the left or right. 6. **Control the Rotation**: Keep holding the spin button and joystick direction to maintain the spin. Ensure you do not let go too early. For a 900, you need to complete two and a half rotations, so hold the spin long enough to complete this. 7. **Prepare to Land**: As you near the end of the spin, start aligning your snowboard with the slope to prepare for landing. Release the spin button and center the joystick to stop the rotation. 8. **Land Smoothly**: Make sure your board is parallel to the ground to land cleanly. A stable landing prevents crashing and ensures you successfully complete the trick. 9. **Practice Makes Perfect**: Repetition is key. Practice on different jumps to get a better feel for timing and control. The more you practice, the more intuitive the spin and landing will become. 10. **Use Training Mode**: If the game has a practice or training mode, use it to hone your skills without the pressure of a race. Here’s a summary of the button sequence: - Gain speed and approach the jump. - Press A to jump. - Hold R and push the joystick in the direction of the spin (left or right). - Release R and center the joystick as you complete the spin to prepare for landing. By following these steps and practicing, you'll be able to perform a 900 in "Twisted Edge Extreme Snowboarding" for the N64. 8:02

naw thats 1080 by a landslide. game has more advanced physics and controls (which leads to deep gameplay) than any other snowboarding game including anything modern. 1080 and excitebike 64 are similar in how their physics model creates a very deep game that is rewarding to master. like snowboard kids is pretty fun but it’s nowhere near as groundbreaking as 1080

I rented this game from blockbuster as a kid. I completely forgot about it. This video reminded me of that forgotten memory. So, thank you, I guess. I am curious what it is that makes 1080 Snowboarding a better game than this. I suppose it is the interesting course designs, music, and the controls, while challenging, are fun to master and understand. Where games like this and coolboarders were just boring because of how basic the controls were. I will always lament at how god awful the trick system in 1080 was though. Like how I can do 4 180s in a row and it doesn't turn into a 720. It was nonsense. Anyhoo I love your channel and this N64 endeavour. Heard you on IGN voice chat podcast recently too. After this, you should spend the rest of your life and your children's and grandchildren's life completing every PS2 game.

There is no story mode in the game. Was never even a design for it that I saw. There are ton of cheat codes in though for things like Canada mode (trippy colours in honour of the snowboarder sent home for drug use at the winter games), Midway mode (the board trial is red - blood was the idea - and the snow particles were red too) big and small mode (you grew if you landed stunts, shrunk if you didn't), ant mode (tiny snowboarder) and others plus several board designs you could unlock. Too long ago for me to remember them all or how to access them. I know not all of them were found.
