The second K-level is the best. The others have too much waiting times or dont reach the greatness of the second level. It also gains a lot of points because it is the first time that the classic music is played and it fits perfectly with the fast-paced level.
There's rumors going on that the developers who made Mario Odyssey are making a new DK game for this year for his 40th anniversary, I hope it becomes true cause a 3D DK game for Switch would be great.

3-K and 5-K are easily the hardest out of ‘em all, oml. 2-K seems tricky at first, but all it really requires is *very* precise timing. Otherwise it’s actually pretty easy, and definitely the most fun since you’re constantly booping enemies.
At first I wanted to 100% the game, but then I played 2-K. Played that level for five goddamn hours and couldn't beat it. I decided from then on I'd just avoid teh collectables.

K levels have always been notoriously difficult. That being said, how else would they be these difficult
There is something really satisfying about building that momentum in 2-K.
They made Diddy severely underpowered, but thanks for using him anyway!
He used him on the only level where he isn't useful though.

i found 3-K to be the easiest by far. beat it second try on hard mode

K-2 is also an excellent level for grinding Banana Coins.

I played through the game in 200% mode and it was hell. Without checkpoints and with only one heart the worst were the bosses

2-K really sucked for me I died a lot of times in that level and many times I ended up raging at it but I was able to do it in the end
