Aeon the struggle is real, I’ve got a bookoutlet order ready for me to buy and I’ve been holding myself back but everyday I go online to check the books are still there and I hover over the checkout button 😂😂 money has also kept me hesitant after buying other books and many crates from Faecrate and Fairyloot 😭😭😅😅😂😂

I loved Mirage. Dare you to Lie is on my bookshelf (and obvs my TBR) I just picked up Shadow of the Fox. And Girl of Paper and Fire will be arriving TOMORROW. And I didn't even realise you were doing it for your Book of the Month club. Will 100% be watching that live show!! My TBR is a bit extra right now, but I can see that I have good taste 😜

I read Skyward and OH MY STARS! It's soooo good! The worldbuilding is amazing and there's one character (leaving Spensa aside) who I'm absolutely sure you'll love if you like AIDAN from Illuminae :).
You should t have requested Girls of Paper and Fire, if my guesses are right it’s coming in both Owlcrate and Fairyloot this month (and a couple of other smaller boxes too)
Shadow of the fox sounds interesting but also kinda familiar. A manga series I own InuYasha tells the story of Kagome a girl from present day who finds herself back in feudal Japan and has to find shards of the broken shikon jewel a powerful gem that can empower demons. She has to work with a half demon who's entire life's purpose is to get the jewel restored so he can become a full demon It's only a little similar but I just thought I'd share that!
Catching Teller Crow is absolutely beautiful and sometimes gut punching. It's hard to describe, because it's not the Western European based storytelling we're so used to. It's not so much the plot or the structure, but the view/understanding of the world that is different.

Most people say to start with Warbreaker (for now it's a standalone, the sequel is to come out but doesn't have release date yet); if you want to commit to a larger endeavour, then start with the Mistborn trilogy. So far, I read only the first but really loved it. He has a really simple writing style. English isn't even my first language and I had no problems understanding it.
Miriam Camoesas thank you for the recommendation. I might pick up the Mistborn trilogy since the books already came out. I prefer for the series to have a least a second book out before starting them 😅 I am too impatient to wait just in case I fall in love with the book 😅

Rithmatist is a really good middle grade which shows how he can make Eve;the strangest concept seem so realistic
