I found my first big score the other day at goodwill! I found a yellow vintage spaghetti spun fiberglass Swag lamp I paid $9 I sold it for $225 !!! Thank you for your videos and all of your knowledge because they give me the confidence to resell.

Your iPhone definitely has the google lens you just have to download the google app and at the top you’ll see the camera symbol it’s the same as eBay
It doesn’t show up in the Google Chrome app....which is what I had, mistakenly thinking it was the Google app. If she has Google Chrome she can download the Google Photos app and it’s in there. I use it almost daily! It definitely should be in every resellers toolbox!
I'm not sure if you have plans for the furniture that you are no longer going to use for Ashton. If you are passing it on to another family member, or selling it or not. But if you are just getting rid of it, and it is still usable, would you please consider donating it to a battered women's shelter. Most of the women there are fleeing with their children and not even a set of clothes to change into. When they leave the shelter after they find a new place to live, they have no furniture, linens, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, dishes.
12 years ago I was in a shelter for battered women. When I left and moved where I still live today, I literally only had a backpack with a change of clothes, and a mattress to sleep on the floor. I had to borrow a plate, bowl, pot, fork, spoon, and knife from my landlady. Please keep that in the back of your mind if you get rid of any clothes the kids outgrow, clothes that you don't want anymore, kitchen objects, linens, towels, a rolling pin, can opener, dish drainer (all ideas) it may seem like a piece of junk to you that you want to get rid of, but to a woman and kids starting all over with nothing, it is priceless.

That was a great mid century bedroom set!! Ashton's a lucky kid! I believe the vases you found at 7:01 and 13:38 were both by Bennett Welsh - Pacific Stoneware from the 1970's. Although not very expensive, he is a highly respected and collected potter. Laura at Left Coast Revivals collects his work. I think the pieces you found were priced appropriately, perhaps even under, but at collector prices, not thrifter.

I liked so many things today. I can’t believe you were looking at that yellow ashtray I had that exact one in my hand yesterday and I kept trying to figure out if I wanted to get it but I did not. Loved the fish paperweight, pink bowl, swirly green bowl, fat cat lol, and the black road runner.

Jocelyn, I found it interesting that you poured all those trinkets into that beautiful American Brilliant crystal bowl. From what I have been researching, an A B bowl like that could be worth anywhere from over $100 to at times over $1K. I think it depends on who made it. Just thought I'd mention it to you.
