@gabriel38g Thanks, David. Unfortunately someone has just pointed out that one-shot timers can get less and less accurate if there's a lot of other stuff going on while periodic timers are self correcting. Maybe it needs rewriting, she sighs😿
Nice! I like your traffic light! Timers was a good lesson, I'd forgotten (maybe I never knew, who knows) how to handle those in Python. Thanks for posting.
@leeg.1402 Thanks, Lee. I can't believe that I wrote that LED class 4 months ago! I would have completely forgotten about it if I hadn't made a video🙃 and Paul's mentioning 'deinit' helped me improve it. I REALLY MUST READ THE DOCUMENTATION😁
@@charlotteswift Aw, who needs documentation? It's more fun to struggle without it. On the other hand, you can save a lot of time by spending a few minutes reading, rather than hours of struggling (I know I've wasted hours trying to solve something where I could have saved it by opening the book).
@DrDave327 Thanks, Dr D. I've already replied to this comment but you-know-who had the temerity to delete one of _my_ comments from _my_ channel - they must really dislike me and I can't remember what I said🙃
@@charlotteswift I wonder why we are getting our comments deleted when we post links to our homework. On the other hand I noticed you left a link to your homework but didn’t get deleted. On this recent assignment, I posted my homework twice with the link, and it got deleted. So, I just posted the title of the video and it didn’t get deleted. So, from now on I am only posting the title of the video. So, in order to watch it one must copy the title and paste it in the search box, as you obviously did.
@DrDave327 Have you tried clicking 'Share' below your video (on the video itself, not in studio), then 'Copy' and then paste it into your comment? It's not foolproof but it gives you-know-who a hint that it's actually a YT video
@peterkarlsson7801 It wouldn't be a good idea in Sweden because you're all too law abiding but it would be fine in Italy because nobody takes any notice of the traffic lights anyway🚦🚦😁😁
That's a crazy traffic light to stop at. 😄 But it looks pretty cool. Excellent solution to use a library. 👍

@leeg.1402 I have to google 'How to replace the batteries in my Sky remote control' EVERY time🙃
Nice way to do it, Charlotte!

@@charlotteswift Ok. I will try that. Thanks!!
Terrific 😃👍
@bigbogeyface And short!!👍😁
I think the blinking patter of the traffic light was very confusing. I don't want to see this behavior when I'm driving...
