This happened to me too. Only if was 15 weeks I never had a period, I had been stitched every way but loose and was still bleeding round some of the etched areas, we had only been together once but hey 2 weeks after my son's first birthday I had his sister at home in under an hour's labour. So there I was 2 1/2 years married 18 years old and two babies. Looking back 51 years of marriage in so glad it happened the way it did and wouldn't change a thing we grew up with our kids, both took our degrees in our chosen fields ( I ended up doing a second 17 years later) and both are now retired able to enjoy our time together and enjoy our grandkids too. Don't think you can't do it you can I completed a PhD with two children under 5 as did my husband. Today my son told us our granddaughter and husband are expecting our first great grand child those years fly by so treasure them but more importantly enjoy them. Yes I married very young I was 16 my husband turned 20 four weeks later but we grew up together with our kids, we had planned to marry after husband finished degree and I would have been 19 then but had we waited one very special person would not have been there so we brought it forward no regrets and we were 16 months married when our first came three months early after a road accident but all turned out well for us in the end it will for you too.
Man I was still postpartum bleeding at 8 weeks. No way I would have let my hubby near me that soon after giving birth. 🌸🐨🌸

I swear Peyton is the sweetest thing! Her playing in the bed with the sound machine and bag of bagels is the funniest! It's so true though, kids love playing in/with the boxes their toys come in more than the actual toy! Ha!

I wasnt breastfeeding and got pregnant very quickly. Plan B failed. My boys are 12 months and 1 day apart. Its so hard i didnt sleep through the night for over 2 and half years. My son wasnt even crawling at 12 months when my second was born. They are 1 and 2. Its so much fun though! They are best of freinds and love eachother so much. I wouldnt have it any other way. Im struggling with potty training the 2 year old since the 1 year old gets into everything. Good luck with the journey. Its really hard but worth it.
This happened to me too. I was 5 or 6 weeks postpartum😅 but honestly my kids love eachother sooooo much and they're so close!!
Edit: oh wow.... that result was not what i expected.
I was told by my midwife she wished more people would listen about waiting 6 weeks to have sex after vaginal delivery, possibility of getting pregnant aside.

My children are 10 1/2 mos apart and it was such a blessing as I miscarried after my second child was 6mos old and then I could never get pregnant again. My children are now almost 22 and 21 yrs old. ❤️❤️
Cynthia Testani my first two were 10 1/2 mos apart and my second and third were 16 mos apart. My two oldest had cancer, my daughter was a survivor and my son passed. Three wonderful children in two and a half years. Three in diapers at once!
linda patrick I am so saddened by this and sorry you had to go through that. When my son was 8weeks and I found out I was pregnant again, we made the decision that I would stay home as daycare was more than my salary. So I babysat and it went something like, my son Alex was 10weeks old, And I took five more children into my home

I feel your pain! get that birth control mamma ASAP! We are having our surprise babe off the paraguard too!! CRAZINESS I didn't believe the results till i saw that heart beat the first visit I just couldn't wrap my head around it happening AT ALL with IUD. Now the pill yes I could see it more just cause of missing or something.. But not a implanted device! We are due July and this is my last. He is also getting a vasectomy and I don't know what I will do for coverage while that process works itself out i am not even postpartum and already have PTSD about it lol! Children are amazing but we together have a combined 4! That is enough for our family.
I’m definitely getting the copper IUD when the baby is here lol. Your hubby looked like he was ready for baby # 3 😆 “God gave me two arms so two babies is enough” seriously! Your children are the cutest!
I'm pregnant on the copper IUD they're the worst form of contraception and very dangerous because you're at a higher risk of a ectopic pregnancy
I'm currently pregnant on the copper IUD, dont trust it! Get your tubes tied! Lol I'm kidding but you have been warned!
I don't know how you stumbled upon my channel but I got pregnant with Calvin with the copper IUD (paragard). Just make sure you check ALLLLL your options but you know what's best for you.

Sarah Laird oh my goodness ! Congrats on baby by the way! I’ve heard many good things about IUD but also many bad things. I like the idea of it because it’s non hormonal but scary risks for sure 😩

Aweee. I love your husband. Hes like mines he said he doesn't care were married and I'm his wife! Bc unfortunately doesn't do well for me. I had to get back off the pill recently (my son is 4 months now), because it made me gain so much weight.. we had a couple oopsies but just like he said my hubby said we will be fine either way as well. I love my hubby u should be happy as well u have a great support system! Great video! I do understand I dont want to get pregnant right away, but if it happens well it happens. So everyone no being mean to each other on this. It took us 4 years to have our recent son and we are definitely enjoying him.. but were married as she is and God will take care of the rest! The horn noise killed me 🤣🤣🤣. I'm on ny second pregnancy and I'm going on the IUD again even if I have pcos. It was good until i had leg pain but I took something for it to make the miomas smaller.
My grandmother had her 2nd and then my dad 10 mos later. She got pregnant 3 months post partum and then at 7 mos pregnant she was in a car accident and my dad was born early. So they are 10 mos apart

I’ve done this. My kids are the same age a few weeks a year. Irish twins. The third one I was on yaz and it got recalled. Then I didn’t think about getting my iud changed. It was expired and I got number 4. At 35. Birth control wasn’t my friend.
I work at a urology clinic and it can take up to a year for vasectomies to completely clear a man.
This happened to me after my 1st baby in 1973. My eldest two children are ten and a half months apart 🤪😖🥳

Omg, we literally lived the same day. Just last night I felt nauseous and I was terrified of being pregnant, since I have 4 kids under 6, with my youngest being almost 5 months. Took a test & came out neg. My husband has his vasectomy appt for next month. As you said, children are blessings, but once we know we are done, its scary.
4 kids under 6?! Girl, you're a rockstar. I don't know how you do it. Two can be a lot at times! Definitely is scary - I've had paranoia since having Calvin since birth control failed me.
@@TaylorLindsay yeah, our last baby was a bit unexpected, as I had the depo shot, but she is our biggest blessing, but yes, it is a lot of work. My husband and I are outnumbered. Haha. But we are done for sure now.

1.. you are beyond fertile after giving birth 2. Breast feeding doesn’t keep you from getting pregnant 3, you can get pregnant before having a period while BF especially after having a baby just 8 weeks ago.
Sabrina R man yes!got pregnant with my third while exclusively breastfeeding and not even having a period at ALL!
@@misspowers3857, no period doesn't necessarily mean no ovulation. There are some women who ovulate twice in one month, as well. I found that out with my third baby. I always wondered why I felt that pain in the area of my ovary, twice in one cycle, but a few days apart.

I stopped nursing my 6month old and was waiting for my cycle to return, must have ovulated next to the ONE time we were unprotected and BOOM, pregnant. Due next month #5. 5 under 6.

My daughter's dad did the whole "we're gonna have a baby" thing with a negative test and I refused to ever let him tell me again after that. So I took the test with my daughter in secret and told him when he got home lol. He WAS NOT happy to say the least, but she's here and his attitude has changed. She's his little best friend.

It happens more often than you think! Also, just because you're nursing, doesn't completely mean you can't get pregnant! I'm a retired nurse and it happens all the time. A vasectomy isn't always 100% especially when they should have told you that up to within 2 weeks, pregnancy can happen! That's why they make you follow up 2 weeks after the procedure! I'm happy for you, that would be a lot on your body!
Yes, his doctor made him well aware and he is getting tested to make sure it worked properly. And since I got pregnant with my son with the paraguard IUD I will never trust any form of protection 100%.

I got pregnant with my oldest and I was taking oral birth control pills and got pregnant with my daughter, never missed a single pill, I had my normal period for 5 months, I hadn't felt well and thought it was because my body was trying to adjust to the diet I was on trying to lose weight! I wore a bikini at 5 months! Any time we decided we wanted to get pregnant, I'd get pregnant within a week of going off whatever birth control I was using at that time! Some people are just really fertile and thats what my OB/GYN told me and to use multiple forms of birth control!

My daughter has night terrors. She would sit up and cry and scream in her bed but her eyes were glazed like the first time i ran to her and held her but it made it worse. Her pediatrician said when she does that slowly and lightly rub her arm or just wait until its over. Oh my god i freaked out not to be able to hold her until after the night terror. She is 16 now and hasn't had one in about a month. They say they usually outgrow them but i am hoping mine will. It is a very scary feeling seeing your child like that.
I wouldn't be thinking of being intimate 8 weeks post partem.

Jeannie oh for sure he’s always assume. I plan on breast feeding with this baby but will still do birth control. From what I have gathered and read if you’re solely breast feeding you can’t but I’m not 100% sure but I know the second you skip a feeding (meaning use formula or bottle feed) you can get pregnant. Happened to my mom. She solely breast fed my brother for 9 months. No protections and didn’t get pregnant but then she started bottle feeding and got pregnant. But ALWAYS use protection
MsKermithefrog this is really not true information. Some women get their cycle back at 8 weeks even if they are exclusively breastfeeding. The thought is that if you never even once go more than 6 hours without nursing for the first 6 months, you will not get pregnant. Anything after, it’s not a guarantee. But even if you skip a feeding you cannot get pregnant until your cycles return.
Only in Africa or other third world countries is nursing a form of contraception!!
My 1st 2 kids are 16months in and my 2nd and 3rdkid are 13months apart my 3rd and 4th are 23months apart
My youngest just turned a month old yesterday❤ its hard cuz im a single parent and their so close in age their almost 5 (in October) just turned 3(in February) and just turned 2(last Monday) but their amazing❤ your little girl is absolutely adorable I wanted a girl so badly but have all boys💙

@@TaylorLindsay my husbands failed as did my tubal... Thankfully we knew before hand that my husbands didn't take as that could happen as well.. so just be aware of that even surgical ways don't always work either..
My husband and his sister are 10 months apart!!
My eldest daughter was born the end of January and my second daughter was born the end of December , 11mths and 3 days between them! Was breastfeeding and was told to wait for my first period before I started contraception... Yeah it never came 😂

It happened to me! I was nursing too and they actually say you stay fertile during that time. I got pregnant 8 weeks after giving birth and found out 12 weeks after giving birth. My boys are 12 months and 10 days apart! I wouldn’t have it any other way tho! They are best buds and they were good babies to raise! I was tired tho! ❤️❤️
I had a baby 16 January & then again in December so for one month my kids are the same age
I am born at the begining of january and my sister end december same year.
My eldest daughter was born the end of January and my second daughter was born the end of December , 11mths and 3 days between them!

He's honestly the calmest baby I've ever been around. My mom calls him a "chill pill" lol.
About his jaundice... I haven't made an update on here since I mentioned we were getting his levels checked. Thankfully his blood work came back good. His levels are still elevated but nothing concerning. Thank you for asking and remembering.

Our boys are a week apart or maybe even a few days and even the thought of getting intimate with my husband makes me sick I can not go through another pregnancy , I’m pretty sure we haven’ you know ;) since conception of our son lol
I’m also nursing 🤱🏻 and no period but there is not a chance I’m having another baby no way!

Aw, so sweet. Clavin's birthday is November 22nd. Being a mama is hard work but oh so worth it! I feel you on the "snip" - I'm not comfortable taking birth control for the rest of my "child bearing years" so Jeff was more than willing to get the procedure done (thankfully!).

Should check out PVSA.org to make sure his vasectomy too. It’s a home test. Check it out. Definitely worth it!

Sometimes hormones from babies birth are still going and can make a false positive. But it’s not unheard of to get pregnant quickly after either

I'm currently 13wks pregnant and my BFF called me 2wks ago to tell me that she's expecting again funny thing is lol... Her hubs had his 🌰🌰 nuts clipped 10 months ago AND she was on birth control for fybroids and she still conceived lol she's due 6wks after me lol. And God gives you nothing you he knows you can't already handle 😉. And digital test request a heck of alot more hcg I'd get a Pink dye test.
Both of those things (nuts clipped and birth control) can fail.

If you don't want to get pregnant you always have to have some form of birth control, even when breastfeeding.

First off, I shouldn't have to lay out every form of detail about my sex life on the internet. But we were and still are using a form of birth control. You can also still get pregnant WITH birth control. I got pregnant with my son 8 months postpartum WITH the paraguard IUD in place. I had less then 1% chance of getting pregnant. No form is 100% guaranteed except for abstinence and that isn't happening as a married wife.
Why are people surprised they may be pregnant if they have sex without protection ?

My body healed extremely fast after both my babies. I stopped bleeding around 3 weeks with each of them. Everyone and every body is different.
Girl this exactly happen to me. My next baby is due 6/2020 and our current baby will be 6 months on 8/25
How will your current baby be 6 months in August and your due in June 2020? That would mean you was pregnant with one baby before you gave birth, right? I'm confused, lol. 😕

Yes, exactly why we used back up protection. I would never use that as our sole protection since I know how common it is. I mean I did get pregnant with the paragard IUD so I'll never really trust any method 😆

Did your doctor not tell you that nursing is not a form of contraceptive? I'm curious (for anyone who has chosen to) Why did you choose to have sex before the 6 week mark? Pregnancy aside it's so you can avoid getting any infections.
I knew that without my doctor needing to say anything. And without completely spelling it out in the video (not that I have to) I mentioned that we were "being safe" aka we used protection. But if you are new to my channel you may not know I got pregnant with my son while I had an IUD in place. Therefore, I now don't trust any form of protection. I was cleared at 4 weeks from my doctor since I was healed by then. But even if I got cleared at 6 weeks, 8 weeks postpartum could have been a feasible time to take a test since it typically takes 2 weeks after conception to get a positive pregnancy test 🙂

You're right you don't have to divulge into everything, but i did figure you were using protection I was just more curious about the timing but since you said you got cleared at 4 weeks instead of 6 weeks (Which I assumed was the normal protocol) that changes what I thought! Thanks for answering! I was just genuinely curious because after I had my first i wanted nothing to with sex lol
