This latest album does seem to have a theme of waking people up to reality, and being present. The Dragon Cries is in English and is a great look at the state of our world.
The Dragon Cries (MV) is all in english. Produced by Tony Viscontti (David Bowie, etc). Hard blues/classic rock sound. Their live stuff is amazing though! Check out any of them.

Welcome to the Band Maid Army. To me they are a progressive rock band, in that they encompass so many genres from metal, hard rock, punk, jazz, blues, and catchy choruses that they make into their own with a distinct sound. You always know its Band Maid. This is only the tiny tip of the iceburg. I apologize in advance for your addiction. You will also find that they are the Queens of abrupt stops, just one of a million cool things about them. Also all the videos and there are quite a few don't cover the entire library of music they have and it is substantial. When you start purchasing their albums you will find little gems that are not on video, anyways enjoy the ride. Challenge for you....Band Maid mix in the car, crank it up and try not to speed....

As far as English in their songs goes, often they use words that sound good within the flow of the song, not necessarily because they mean anything profound.
