I hate to admit it, but I'm starting to fall in love with my best friend.. We have been friends for almost three years now but I've never seen her as more than just a friend until now.. I clicked shuffle and this song came on. I can't help but ponder on how much this song fits in the situation that I am in right now... After my first huge break up(4yrs ago), I never thought that I was ever to reincarnate that feeling of love again. I thought that the only way I would fall in love again is when I least expect it. Now, that's exactly how it is going for me. Over the past months, we've been hanging out a lot lately and getting much closer than we have ever been before. That car ride back home was when I came to a realization that I am falling in love with my best friend. I was so lost from the lyrics of the song that it felt like I was floating and I totally lost complete sense that I was driving a vehicle. Fast forward to a week after that event, I can't help but think about her every minute of the day. The only problem is that... wait for it... (picture me in tears right now) she has a boyfriend.... I respect everyone's relationship and I don't do anything that would ruin her relationship. That means I cannot ever tell her how I feel about her. It just pains me because I have to distance myself from her because I just can't help but fall in love with her. All I can do is whisper how I feel about her in the wind hoping that someday, when the right time comes, she will hear it.. .

Two years have passed since I wrote this comment. It's hard to believe how much time have passed. Although, fortunately, time have been on my side all along. A whisper in the wind, I thought, was too insignificant to make a change, too discrete to be heard. Three word were all I needed her to hear... Maybe these three words bear a weight too heavy to be carried by the wind... A year passed and I finally had the chance to make a move (she was now single). We started hanging out even more and in those times, it felt like a movie. There was something growing between the both of us like a growing flame that can't be extinguished. It was beyond my awareness that those three words that I have been wanting to tell her would arrive to me. "I love you" she wrote. I was shocked at first, but after all the times we have spent together, I knew we both felt the same way towards each other. We made a year two months ago and I have never been so happy to be in love. The adventures, the new experiences, the dates, the laughs, every minute with her is like a drug. I need advice for me is the other way around I’ve been talking to this girl for months and we ft a lot we have mutual feelings for each other and we both know that but I never told her I loved her but she told me she loved me I’m just confused abt my feelings really i don’t know her in real life and I’m not the type to look for people online but it just happened at first it felt like we were both using each other for are own reasons but now we know each other really well and we have a genuine friendship but it’s more than just a friendship at the same time but not a relationship because I want to meet her in real life and see if we feel the same Way in Person it just happened unexpectedly like I said and I feel like I want her in my life but she doesn’t fit the description of the type of girl I want to be with in a relationship she’s like 5’8 and I’m 5’4 and she weighs way more than me cuz I’m skinny af and she’s thick but I always wanted a girl shorter than me and not someone who could break me with their body weight so idk if it would work out she not fat but I’m just really really skinny I feel like it wouldn’t last plus she’s not emotionally stable she suffers from bipolar and depression I want to help but I’m not the most mentally stable myself so I don’t want it to affect me as well and I just feel like i want someone very woke and mature and she’s pretty mature but I feel like I want someone who I could have deep talks with and that we could learn from each other but she’s not really the woke type anyway overall I do really like her and I appreciate her and We almost stopped talking and I had her in my mind and needed a distraction so idk what I should do ig u don’t really pick who’s right for u but I don’t know if I’m just attached or If I’m unknowingly using her still for when I’m lonely or if the feelings I feel are genuine any advice would be helpful also my feelings change a lot sometimes I feel like I really like her other times I just really want her and then at times after certain things happen a lot I kinda lose interest and when I hang out with my friends a lot and drink I kinda don’t feel as strongly abt her like it starts to feel dull and I start to not really care abt spending time with her I just want to go out and have fun with my friends and sometimes I want to talk to other girls when I feel really good and she starts seeming less attractive to me In a way but I still care abt he regardless of how I’m feeling at the moment that’s the thing that also confuses me then when i go back to being on my own I start to miss her that’s y I don’t know if I’m using her specially because I’m not really around girls like that and I’ve never been close to a girl so maybe it’s cuz I feel like I don’t got many options all the time and cuz I get bored and lonely when I’m not with my friends but like I said I never stop caring abt her and sometimes it feels like I’m just distracted in the moment and drinking makes me care less abt a lot of things so idk cuz at times i feel like I could never find another girl like her again

I'm not a very lovey dovey person myself (I've only had two crushes)...AND I'm pansexual so I don't really have types, or care abt types, I go for the personality, but i think you should possibly wait it out, maybe try to find a way to meet her IRL, and possibly get to know her better then you do now, maybe ask her what she thinks about your situation? I'm a bit young so Idk if you want to take my advice, as I have never really dated anybody (okay so me and a girl said we were, "dating" but that doesn't count, all we dis was hold hands and give each other pet names like strawberry and stormy), try to at least conversate with her abt it, doesn't have to be direct, split all the things abt her into pros and cons possibly? She's taller then you so she can reach the top shelf for you, or maybe you can steal her hoodies and be all snug in them, you know, things like that. Again, I'm young, don't take my advice if you don't want to, but if you want clearer or better advice maybe ask an older sibling that has had a relationship or two, or a friend who has been in a relationship. So yeah.
