Jeez, are American valedictorians usually just ego-centric? In all my experience, valedictorian speeches are *supposed* to only be about the class as a whole, and optimism for everyone's future. I've personally never heard a valedictorian use the speech as an opportunity to self-inflate like they won an award. It's such a bittersweet time when you're saying goodbye to all the friends you've spent years with; if anything it's an opportunity to compliment all the people around you.

If people are PRO-LIFE but argue against universal healthcare, then you're really against ALL human life and their ability to live prosperous lives. When a corporation such UHC blantantly denies healthcare coverage and it's their actual business model to gain profits, then that shows us and Luigi that the system was never meant to care for human life. There is no profit motive. There is no concern about whether you could “afford” to have the fire put out or not. You make the call and the firefighters do their best to put it out. With all due respect, you should go and visit the 3 countries you mentioned.. Their free healthcare is horrible compared to the high quality healthcare that we have here in the states. The living conditions in those countries is also horrible. What we have here does need to be looked at and changed, it's so expensive. As for healthcare being a right, what about food?..should that be a right?..or shelter?( home), what about transportation ( cars), should that be a right? The constitution says you have the right to bear arms, however, you have to buy your own gun, they don't provide that for you. The point is that just because something is a right doesn't mean the government provides it for you. I have been to Cuba, and you would be shocked if you visited; in Venezuela, people are staving to death and are literally eating dogs..if you think America is bad, you have never been anywhere else. When our system is corrupt and worries more about capitalistic gain rather than human life, he struggled to understand how ADULTS/Politicians that came before him implemented a system that hurts all Americans regardless of class. Rather it was built to end them.
