“For-profit” or “insurance” two terms that should never be allow near a healthcare system. Some things in life should not be based on a “business model." For example, the fire department. There is no profit motive. There is no concern about whether you could “afford” to have the fire put out or not. You make the call and the firefighters do their best to put it out. Healthcare could be just like the fire department. No pre-authorization middle man insurance company needed.

The living conditions in those countries is also horrible. What we have here does need to be looked at and changed, it's so expensive. As for healthcare being a right, what about food?..should that be a right?..or shelter?( home), what about transportation ( cars), should that be a right? The constitution says you have the right to bear arms, however, you have to buy your own gun, they don't provide that for you. A grand jury could choose not to indict him.
And jury nullification is a real thing
Why would they choose not to indict a murderer
@@EduardO-gm7hx fair question, and there are a lot of reasons why jury nullification would be used. 1 - he may not be guilty, 2-there may not be enough ACTUAL evidence to convict, 3-he may be charged with too high level of count while being found experiencing medical trauma and pain, state of mind, or worst case 4-enough jury members (one?) do not feel a conviction is warranted.

Feel free to pay the cost of your healthcare. Even without profits, costs would be sky high
@@phil3924I pay $500 a month for insurance. I'm paying the cost of my healthcare right now. I'm paying way more than it actually.
@@phil3924 we already are paying the cost of our healthcare. your employee insurance directly comes out of everyone's paycheck. and these insurance companies also receive government subsidies, aka your taxpayer $. but sure keep defending the middle-man parasites
In 19th Century England, the fire departments were paid for by the insurance companies. They showed up at at fire and if you didn't the insurance emblem on your home (like many have security emblem today) you were out of luck. Public health care has pluses and minuses, but mostly pluses. But, it your life isn't at risk, you might wait 10 years to get surgery. Tired of waiting, many of my Canadian friends are travelling to the U.S., Mexico, and even India, for surgery and paying for it themselves.
@@phil3924I don't think any Canadians would give up their government health insurance. For profit health care is better, but costs a lot more.
CEOs and leaders of exploitative companies take note: this will continue, with even greater intensity, as injustices persist. The harm caused by Brian Thompson and UnitedHealthcare is undeniable, and the collective pain is being shared openly. Companies profiting from harm should be ashamed and afraid.
You are disgusting, thinking the solution is taking someone's life. Get help.
@@matyzasa4831what do you suggest be the solution? How long will the people endure negotiating without results? Denying healthcare is a crime, authorities not addressing a crime forces the people to take the matters in their own hands. The society has always been give and take. *Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua....all oppressed by the u.s. HAVE FREE HEALTH CARE for their populations. Because it's a HUMAN RIGHT.* Which the u.s. system ABHORS.
It is not free. What is the average salary in those countries? You don't know, but very very low because the government takes a huge chunk of the money. There is no such thing as "free health care."
With all due respect, you should go and visit the 3 countries you mentioned.. Their free healthcare is horrible compared to the high quality healthcare that we have here in the states. The point is that just because something is a right doesn't mean the government provides it for you. I have been to Cuba, and you would be shocked if you visited; in Venezuela, people are staving to death and are literally eating dogs..if you think America is bad, you have never been anywhere else. The 3 countries you mentioned would be the last places on earth you would want to live in..

Most people have no idea how obscenely luxuriously the executives of insurance companies live without working much.
When our system is corrupt and worries more about capitalistic gain rather than human life, he struggled to understand how ADULTS/Politicians that came before him implemented a system that hurts all Americans regardless of class. If people are PRO-LIFE but argue against universal healthcare, then you're really against ALL human life and their ability to live prosperous lives. When a corporation such UHC blantantly denies healthcare coverage and it's their actual business model to gain profits, then that shows us and Luigi that the system was never meant to care for human life. Rather it was built to end them.
I think he gave his life to bring awareness to the fraud of the insurance company and the people were dying or suffering because of a lack of care....
