It doesn't erase the original time, just creates an alternate branch with different outcomes. We already know this from the Loki show and other movies. Cause even Peter Park from the first Amazing Spiderman, is the one who has already fought all these villains before, he even talks about it. It was only the villains who were pulled just before their final battles against spiderman.
Remember, they all got transported right before they’re death, so most of these guys are still fucked
depending how close "right before their death" were talking; like for green goblin, are we talking right before the fight with Spider-man that caused his death, right before the glider impaled him, or is he already a shish kebab and in his death rattle?
I always had the head cannon that the moment Goblin was returned was not even a second before getting hit by his glider. That being the moment in the movie when he says "Oh."
Woah that’s rly cool to think and makes sense cuz there’s a weird cut, obvs didn’t think of that when they made it but it fits nicely
Its sad because Doc Ock had a good heart in the end. And would still die. Out of all the villains. Hes probably the only one who deserved life. It was nice to see him and pete talk as if old friends but not enemys
Ock’s fate is likely much different a note is that since time isn’t frozen in the MCU dimension it reasons that it wouldn’t be frozen in any other meaning that the machine was essentially left abandoned for Peter SM2 to deal with which would be much easier without a Doc Ock trying to kill him whether he could is another matter altogether. So Doc Ock might come back to either a flooded lab or an enormous crater where new york used to be
My understanding is the time rift actually sent them back to the exact moment they were taken from. Only if it were just a rift in space would your version be true, but it was clearly a rift in both time and space because the villains all got pulled from different times within the same space for many of them. So for Doc Ock it kind of retcons the ending to the events of no way home being the reason for his change of heart after being placed back where he was plucked from dying his tragic death of drowning.
In connection to how across the spider verse sets up “fixed points” that if altered will destroy a universe.
Wouldn’t sending the villains back fuck their universes up
i mean norman osborn was taken out of his timeline r9ght before his death
so when he goes back he is gonna die as well...
It wasn't immediately before his death. Otherwise he'd be absolutely covered in dust not to mention his mask would've been destroyed. Norman went back before the final fight with Spiderman so he wouldn't go back to die.
Not really time isn’t frozen so Norman comes back to discover he was the subject of a missing person hunt which would still probably end with him turning himself in for being the Green Goblin
Plot Twist: Goblin's "oh" before his death is him turning a new leaf, but no longer has the strength to dodge his glider
Now that Doc oct is in charge of his arms again could he set the arms to sink the sun without him being apart of them?
smart man
That's not how mcu doc ock works. The only way for him to controll the arms is via a chip. The arms are hardwired into his body. Even if he could remove them from his body he then wouldn't be able to control them
No, being attached is the only way they can operate. Actually it seems that the arms never actually had a mind of their own but the unregulated sensory feedback from the broken limiter chip induced a state of schizophrenia in doc Ock with the classic schizo voices presenting as the arms (essentially being like sock puppets for the voices in his head). Restoring the chip limits the feedback to manageable levels and removes the induced state of schizophrenic psychosis.
WHY DOC OCK??? ITS ALWAYS THE BEST VILLAIN THAT DIES! WHYYYYYYYYYY!!! 😭
This shows what can happen with Peter Parker.
Why was Venom missing in the entire movie? He should have been there along with ther villains.
Venom is actually an antihero, not a villain. So, it wouldn't have made much sense.
what about venom?
What I don’t understand is why they didn’t just put them back anyway, sure Norman would be dead but everyone else was already either cured, changed their ways, or died, spider man was FUCKING pointless
wow
:)
