Serpentine Valentine defenitly pulled me to the dark academia side as well. Another dark academia I read last year that I loved that gave similar vibes and is way under hyped imo is Virgin Sacrifice by L.M. Ramirez. It gives contemporary Dark Academia mafia esque vibes with a Why choose scenario happening and it was a really great time! Thanks for the vlog 🖤🖤🖤

Loved the video. Personally, I enjoyed “A Study in Drowning”, but just wanted to clarify it is not Dark Academia book - it is gothic fantasy romance. Dark academia usually features and revolves around the education and the glamorisation of the institution.

If you want to try an independent author I read a dark b*lly romance that has dark academia vibes. I think I recommended it to you already but it's Churchill Bradley Academy series by L Ann and Claire Marta 🖤
