Really appreciate you doing this, Andy, at your expense and time. And especially giving us all the time ahead to make our choices and do our Christmas planning in good time before popular things sell out like they do at this time of year. Thank you X
Yaaaaaaaaaaaay thank you so much big Andy for making this Christmas review video I’ve been looking forward to it all day.Despite the cancer I still have a massive appetite for food (thank you God) and I will be having roast leg of lamb with my French bulldogs for Christmas ( pray God I’m still here👍🏻) I am soooooooooo excited that you will be making a Christmas dinner from scratch ACE !!!! I can’t wait to see that next month. As usual sending you so much love and respect and sincere thanks for making these videos God Bless keep safe 😘 Donna
Not to bad perhaps a tad bit expensive for a lot of chicken but the best thing was left in the tray your gravy 👍👍👍but I am going for onion bhajis, and nargis kebab starter, Balti chicken tikka madras plain nann for my Christmas dinner main
Always wondered about the three bird roast Andy, thanks for trying it out for us all. I've always bought poultry on the bone as it doesn't seem to dry out as much.
Iceland sell these meats in a tray of various kinds, they range from 500g to 525g, 2 different variants of gammon I believe (different sauces), 2 different types of pork (1 with crackling, 1 with herb crust), a butter basted chicken & a pork stuffing one (my fav). 3 for £10. That’s roughly 1.5kg for £10. I’m on my own so I like these, because 1 serves me twice. Although not ‘Christmas’, I think they’d be brilliant if you’re only having 4-6 people, bang them in the oven & at least you have a choice of meats (you could even get 4 different kinds & make up 2 other items for the £20, or put the other 2 away for New Years etc). Although this seemed ok, seemed a bit of a cop out, look how much you had to cut to get to any turkey or duck! Lidl do a very similar 3 bird roast, I’d be really interested when they eventually bring their Christmas meats out for you to compare! Thanks Andy! x
There’s definitely more chicken than turkey or duck, though it tasted nice i think if you were on a tight budget for Christmas then you might as well by a chicken, but then it is Christmas, but like you say if you are on your own the Iceland ones sound ideal, I keep an eye out for the Lidl ones 👍
Hello Andy not bad value really if you want something a little bit different for Christmas Day but I've tried these in the past and to be honest it's not for me. Just got two fresh legs of lamb out of Sainsbury's £7.35kg for just over £30 with the nectar card. I've just put them in the freezer for 🎄. For that price I'm going to get another two next week.😁👍
Looks good. Me and my young daughter live with my parents. They will end up buying about 4 joints, which we will still be eating at New Year, something like this would be more sensible, But they will insist on buying too much, I will get my dad to watch this video
Naw, young fella. Not for me. I’m a traditional turkey and ham fella with all the trimmings on Christmas Day. That gravy looked bangin. You should bottle that and sell it. I’m placing my order in now. 👍
But has you know me and Victoria have not seen eachother for a while,so I will having plenty of breast and stuffing over Christmas without even switching the oven on,so you don't really want to know what I will be having on Christmas day apart from more stuffing 😂👍
Hi andy. Wow 3 bird roast looking forward to seeing this cooked andy. Sounds ok will have to wait and see when you've cooked it and tasted it. Let's hope it's good andy. Thanks pal.🎉🎉🎉.
Firstly, it isn't what is advertised on the packaging...Not much duck, a tad bit more turkey...abundance of chicken, because it's a cheaper poultry. Secondly, though it is skimpy on the duck and turkey...🤔...serving let's say 4 people, making just under £3 a serving...just for the meat......I have to say, it is worth it. I mean if you went out for a meal, it would cost you a ten or fifteen pound per person easily.
1.2kg, you can easily get 6x 200g portions which is plenty of protein for most people. Respectfully you're eating for like 4 of them alone so no wonder you feel like it will serve less ...
78% of meat. your not looking at much duck at 10% only or really less than 120g worth due to sauce packet weight. by water loss maybe 1kg or 100g so 5 would mean 200g of meat while 6 is 166g so not much if you weigh it out And for the amount of each it may be better to just get each item separate and have more weight
Looks delicious, cheers Andy 👍 💯 💥
Thanks
Thanks for sharing Andy. Perfect for just me the hubster and doggo Christmas day😊
👍

Sounds good we will probably have lamb this year
@@fatandy lamb is so expensive these days I thought I would grab some while it's still on offer. 👍
A Christmas dinner in November, you cant beat it, Andy👍. Not sure it is worth £11 though...a fair score.
Thanks yeah to be fair the majority of the meat was chicken, but it was nice
3 birds at Christmas makes it bearable mate 😂. Just don't tell the missus 😂😂. Definitely prefer the gammon for the money. Have a good weekend mate 👍🏻
😂😂😂 yeah i would pick the gammon 👍
