I’m in my mid 20s, came across cut copy in GTA V and have adored them since. The music always sounded familiar and nostalgic to my childhood and I could never pin it exactly why.. I always attributed it to fond memories of gaming but one day I put bright like neon love on in the car with my dad and he casually goes ‘oh nice, cut copy! I remember seeing them shortly after this album came out.. always used to play this to you as a kid!’ My dad has the best music taste, exposed me to so many great artists as a kid.
Cut Copy, Holy Ghost, Fred Falke, Miami Horror, Bag Raiders, and all of the early Kitsuné Maison Compilations definitely shaped my musical taste. Late 2000s/Early 2010s was a great time for indie electronic music.

For sure!
Very underrated band, and, as you clearly felt, way ahead of their time.
