Yes, I love it! Love how they actually included the extra in the main dance than just have them dance in the background. Great character and storytelling! Love how Vito truly made her the star of this.

She's not only a brilliant dancer, but also a long-time Disney Fan. She nailed the role of Belle in this Routine. It's also one of few times I accepted a Disney Princess-Disney Villain ship. Another great Routine, but underscored this time. I hope Ellie and Vito will achieve 40s in the semi-final and the Grand Final itself.

Ellie nailed the part of Belle down. She really did amazing of storytelling. The footwork was perfection and she was light on her feet. Gotta give props to Vito for a phenomenal routine that was very detailed. Maybe wanted more Quickstep in the routine. But overall fantastic beautiful number.

Ellie and Vito are magic! They make any dance work! Their chemistry is off the chart. Tonight was so lovely and well danced. They didn't get the 40 but they are 40 in our hearts and mind! 10/10

These two are great. I thought they would be the first 40 in the series but I don't mind someone else getting it. It was also brave trying a different dancer in the middle of their routine, but they can pull it off clearly. These two are my favourites to win. Have a good day reader

Because they want people to vote for Leyton. Who is a great dancer, but a professional. And anyone who starts about Ellie having dance lessons since she went to drama school, she got her job in Coronation Street at aged 11, so not very extensive lessons.

I couldn’t watch this yesterday so I just rewatched it now and what a show! I liked this. She looked so cute in her dress. I love how they added the backgrounders to make it like they were in an actual musical. Beautiful!
I loved this. Every single performance, it just better than the last. They are been underscored and I don’t know why. Maybe the BBC had a plan for who would win and Ellie and Vito are ruining that for them. They have been my winners since their Paso! Can’t wait for the final! 💪🏽
For weeks now Ellie should have had 40,when came off dance floor , brilliant remarks on the dance , so should have got 40 , 😢Ellie is brilliant and should win .
Sorry but she was not under marked. Yes I will agree she’s had couple dance where I feel she should have got the 40. This was not her best dance. Not enough quick step content. This theme has been done 100 times on strickly maybe had they done something the judges had seen many times before she might have scored higher. To compare this to the level of difficulty in laytons makes no sense. Oh and don’t want to hear about dance experience. Elle has experience too. I’m looking at the dance as a whole this was a 9. Unfortunately a lot of fans are looking at them through a fake romance instead of really looking at the dance

Because Layton had to win this after last week being in the dance off. It is clear BBC brought him in as the designatted winner ( ringer) but last week the audience showed not to agree so this week they made sure he'd be no1 in the scoring...making sure the audience vote doesn't outweigh the judges this week. That whole pity speech of Motsi made that all the more clear

What a perfect dance - its a 10 from me to these two wonderful dancers
Can we just appreciate that they all did an amazing job especially Ellie this evening. The first time ever that there isn't an elimination that late in the competition and all 4 couples did brilliant routines in spite of Nigel's sudden exit. I definitely think Ellie is absolutely the 'Belle' of the ballroom and for me my favourite performance of the evening.

When I watched this live little did I that I would be seeing a stage version of Beauty and the Beast a few months later. The stage show was enjoyable.

Wow! Undermarked . They have such great chemistry. The connection between them was impeccable. Honestly… I think they might win because unlike Layton she doesn’t have dance experience and she’s ridiculously talented. She does have dance experience, has done Jazz, tap, ballet etc she is a stage and musically trained actress so she is not a novice at all

Hmm, it's funny we all see things differently, it was very hard to find much wrong with Ellie's dancing technically and as a performance but, it was hard to see it was a Quickstep for a lot of it and too many breaking out of hold, I like my Quickstep's to be springy, travel round the floor and in hold for a good amount of time so for me it wasn't enough. It reminded me of Fleur's last year, wasn't a 10 for the same reason. I loved the Charleston and story line but not enough Quickstep for someone of Ellie's abilities in Ballroom 😣
Ellie is an amazing dancer and she does need to win. However, unfortunately, I felt like there was too much faffing around with the backing dancers so that meant there was a lack of Quickstep content for me. However, I have to give her credit. If you think back to Layton’s Tango or Layton’s Jive, he was distracted more on delivering impressive tricks instead of delivering traditional Jive or Tango content. You can tell Ellie is definitely focused on delivering traditional Quickstep content, which is why I feel like she’s a better dancer than Layton and should win the competition.
Here is the problem with musicals, a bit too much show. They should leave AS, charleston for this week.
But i hope she will win. Perfect score next week girl !

I don't really understand why they were only marked 9s across the board. Not enough quickstep? I don't recall any of the judges mentioning there wasn't enough, maybe I missed that. However, if what is wanted is purely the dance then they need to do away with the themed dances, because the pros will try to make the dance fit the theme - because otherwise why have a theme in the first place? Maybe the format of the show needs to change to reflect what the producers actually want and the judges expect to see.

Strictly Come Dancing musical Week, Week Eleven.
First Up is Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola dancing the Quickstep.
too much faffing about at the beginning I think they should have taken less time to get into the dance.
There are two ways of doing a Quickstep, the first Is to start slow and blind up in pace until at the end were the couple are racing across the floor, the seconded type is to interchange from quick to slow to quick and so forth, this pairing picked the the seconded type which I'm not so keen on but to there credit they did it brilliantly.
I thought the acting was spot on and the two of them sold themselves as the characters.

It was the best dance by far, ballroom and latin remember dancing together as partners, love them.❤❤

HOW in all honesty is Belle a quickstep song? Ginger and Val did the same song but it was a Foxtrot. Unless Ellie has already DONE the Foxtrot, that should have been a Foxtrot song. 😢
Nvm. Don’t tell me. I just looked it up. She did Foxtrot in Week 2, HOWEVER I still think that it should have been a Foxtrot or if you’re going to do a Quickstep, do it to Be Our Guest and NOT Belle.

Ginger Zee is a Good Morning America weather broadcaster and Val Chmerkovskiy was her professional partner when she did Season 22 of the US version of this show.

Not just the song but they’re characters in the dance are wrong, I mean what’s the theme, what makes it fantastic or memorable

I loved this, but just didn’t see enough traditional Quickstep. The judges have been hugely critical of other dancers not having enough of the selected dance content with the other contestants but they didnt seem to comment here but perhaps why they didn’t get a 10. I am a huge fan of Musical’s week but maybe they need to change the rules and align Musicals to Couple’s Choice to give a bit more creative freedom to the pro and then we can enjoy the dancing for what it is rather than looking for the traditional steps…
She is so much lighter on her feet than at the start of the season! Great dancing. I think she lacks spice, but she would be a worthy winner if Layton doesn't win (and I am certain the British public won't allow him to).
Perhaps the British public still recognises a ringer and still consider that unsportsmanlike

Ok so this was undermarked. I didn't see anything wrong with wit and I didn't get Craig's "Polka" comment. If i had to nitpick a bit id say there probably wasnt enough in hold and it could have been a bit smoother in general. But i knew they wouldnt get 40 cos they were 1st out

Making sure Layton ended as no1 giving him the best chance to not end up in dance off due to audiencevotes. Hence also that "stirring" pity speech by Motsi. Layton clearly is the BBC pick.

Nice routine but it didn't look like a quickstep to me, they missed out moves that have seen other couples do on other strictly shows.
If they dont win Strictly i will never watch this show again.

I love Ellie and vito they’ve been my winners from day one but she was let down by choreography this week! A simple thing to do was just put a lot of it in hold like a quick step is meant to be and also to much faffing about - also opening the show is not a good place to be.

The dance was very good but no offense, it wasn’t fantastic, memorable, nor excellent, I mean maybe if it had Vito dressing like the Beast dancing with Ellie in a ball gown….then it would be stupendous and if they could dance to either “Be Our Guest” or “Beauty and the Beast” it would be more enchanting like them dancing to “Someday My Prince Will Come”.

Cute performance, but there was barely any actual quickstep in it. I get they were trying to give showmanship but if I'm judging a quickstep this was a 7 at best for me for how little content there was. The contnet that was actually there was danced well.
