I have 2015 Black/Black convertible. You can make a V6 permium. I did. Leather OEM from Ebay, Mustang door sill lights and puddle lights, Pioneer 4201Nex, 12" Pioneer Shallow Sub, 500 rms watt Alpine Amp, all new 6.5 inches from Kicker in the doors.... with Schosche heat (touchscreen) I also put heated seats into it. I am also the only person i know that has the LED Pony in the front. i will have to make a video to show you guys. Mine is amazing for a V6.
For 2015 and 2016 you could get the power seats and fog lights as an option. For 2017 there was no options but auto or manual and color...maybe wheels.

I think Ford is to afraid that it will over shadow the 4cyl Ecoboost that they are promoting ( was a disappoint in Chevy doing the same in the 16 Camaro) The screen is so small it is only good for the radio at best and just doesn't match what Chevy and Dodge are doing. It does make a difference, at least for me on a car, what the interior is like. Im in it, Im the one driving it everyday so it has a to have a good look and feel. At least for me. The 4cyl sounds more like a tuner car than a muscle car. For me that is a major issue and a deal breaker. You can at least with the V6 you still get that feel and a good sounds track from the engine. If I am getting a v6, RIGHT NOW. I go a 2014 Charger. You can get a great deal on those right now and I would take the SXT plus over the RT V8. I have owned both. In my opinion you got to get the premium package at the very least with the new mustang regardless if it's ecoboost or V8. I test drove the V8 base model and sure it was fast but the minute I saw the interior it was a big no for me. Also the turbo 4 has a bigger upside for performance gains such as tunning. And I get 34 miles to the gallon. And ecoboost also has more torque and horsepower
The lack of features is intentional.... They are trying to phase out that engine by making it the cheapest possible route and the most unattactive route... That being said for 25k its still has most of the things that make the 2015 a nice car...
i have a 2015 muxtang, I be glad when tthey make more mods for the car. I want a bigger screen and I have a v6. I hope they will have aftermarket parts for it.
Tiny reverse camera? It's a $25K car. BMW will charge you for one in a $45,000 car. I have an F150 with the camera in the rear view miror and it works fine. Those of us who bothered to learn how to drive don't even need one very often. I doubt you use one very often either.

Great car but i wouldnt pay 26k for it. I got my black 2015 v6 stang for 22k when it was originally listed at 25k. I showed the guy the ad they had up for 22k and he honored the price
Malie damn 22k brand new ? it must be bare bone stock. the 27,000 v6 is the 051A package with fog lights, lumbar support on the seats, 18 inch wheels , a spare tire and the upgraded security system.
Well im in a 5.0 now...but yea i got the 2015 for 22k manual trans. If anything the only thing i woulda wanted from the package was the 18 inche wheels.
I really enjoy my eco boost. But the fact they removed the v6 hurts. The v6 has been around since the beginning. Even if the first one had the strait 6 as the base model engine option. Why they removed it I’m not sure, but the ecoboost definitely won over the race sadly. But i would still buy the v6 if I had to.
Sigrafix. I hear you. I wish Ford had put a few more options in there. Nav and the larger center console screen. I did have powered seats in that car, but not heated. The seats where comfy. I will see if I can get a test drive of a new Camaro and Challenger. You can get them for around $30 grand. Also on the Eco boost. You can get all the options but, dbeardsley0 is right. You only get the power from 93 octane gas. So the cost to fill up is higher and we all know the lower gas prices wont last. I did do a V6 Camaro (2010) if you would like to take a look. I am from Canada and my local dealership says that the ordering guide does have the Sync 3 on the V6 but none of the online boards/forums second the dealership's claim. Mandeep Budhiraja No, the V6 is a base model only. If it did, I would buy one hands down. The eco boost premium and gt premium are the only 2 with that option. With the gas milage on the 4cyl on the eco boost you only get the better gas milage with top grade gas. So it pretty much negates the better milage. Why do I want a bigger back up camera and don't rely on the rear view mirror? The mirror is good for seeing cars while driving, and with the higher rear deck lid n spoiler, it is impossible to see where you bumper is. If you ever drive a car like this one or the Dodge Challenger you will see what I am going on about. Thanks for all the great comments and feedback everyone.

I'm going to radio shack and refusing to buy their radios ue to them not driving well down the road .Makes no sense right ? In a half decent sports car you only turn the radio on when either stuck in traffic or extremely bored waiting for your girlfriend to buy her make-up . You need to come up with better excuses when returning test drive cars . That Mustang is the best version since the 1968 to 1970 model years .If all goes well I'll pick one up in the summer , with radio delete if possible ? I just wish they had lower gear ratios in the axle available since it has a six speed tranny . Forget the eight cylinder they are dinosaurs from a bygone era . Other than that good review ,
You can slap a fully integrated Kenwood NAV/Stereo unit with amp, speakers, sub, and such for $1500-$2000 that will even work with sync and be superior to the OEM systems. Hardly a reason not to buy a car. If this were a Volvo and nothing was available like that, maybe. But not a Ford.

And this v6 as of Noe has zero aftermarket support and ford has done pretty much everything they can do to make the ecoboost more desirable.. reduced hp on the v6, put cheaper looking manual seats, electric only for the driver, zero options etc etc.. It's only less horsepower because they advertise on 87. With 93 it gets around 320 and just go to ford's website and make your mustang then go to a dealer. There's actually more options for it than you think and the cloth seats are a brand new cloth design from ford specifically for the v6. The 4 cylinder should not even be an option for it. All they need to do is put an eco boost on the v6 and v8 then it'll compete with the corvette both stock with a smaller v8 than Chevy as well

SolidMustangP51 Yeah, I know the power rating is only at 93 octane but that's not really an issue as I use 93 on every car I've owned so I'm used to paying extra for gas. What I am concerned with however is mpg's.. I don't buy that the ecoboost is as economical as they say it is nor do I buy that the V6 is as thirsty as they say it is.. some real world numbers would be nice. But yeah.. last week I had changed my mind from a v6 to an ecoboost, this week I'm back to the V6.. Lol. Sound is a big part of the driving experience, at least for me.. I love to hear that throaty v6, some catbacks, x pipe, long tubes and that baby sings. The ecoturd however sounds like shit, it's only redeeming quality is enhancing the sound of the turbo spool and adding a VTA bov.. but still, the exhaust note is awful, the sound symposer is not something I endorse and the engine itself sounds like a damn tractor because of direct injection. so TL:DR, still don't know what to do.
I thought the ecoboost was supposed to help with fuel econ... My 02 mustang without aerodynamic tweaks and a specialized v6 does almost as good as this
The screen is small because u have the base model . If u look at the history of ford and other models . Ford isn't the biggest technology company . If the small screen is a problem get the premium . The hood is big because it's a mustang . Mustangs have huge hoods .
im getting the ecoboost only because better gas mileage for going back and forth to school and I feel like I would be able to get more out of it with the turbo and personaly I love the sound of it with a magnaflow exhaust. don't reply with hate cause its my first car and im so greatful my dads gonna get me it. im not a spoiled rich kid either so none of that shit.
TheDino117 Yes and No on that Dino, You have to put the 93 Oc. in the gas tank to get that better mileage. It seems like a finicky engine. For a first car, hmmmm, I deferentially wont hate on you for it and I am glad you dad is able to help you out. For a first car but be careful. These cars do have some power to them. You talking about better gas mileage sounds like you have a more reasonable mind. With being RWD watch the snow but the traction control should help a lot with that. Hiren Patel Yup. You can fill 87 in all models but beware of the performance drops in the Ecoboost and V8's. The numbers Ford published for the Ecoboost drop somewhat significantly on 87 vs. 93. Numbers for the V6 are for 87 already.
I got a '16 v6 with a manual when I turned 18, but I had a year of driving experience before hand. You could handle it if you're a good driver. My first car was an '03 jaguar s type(automatic) with 240 hp. I never crashed(and still haven't). I wouldn't get one right away if you're not comfortable with driving yet. After I learned the basics of driving the mustang was easy to adjust to. It really just depends on what kind of driver you are.
+Patrick Barrett no. i was happy that i buy my honda 120hp 2004. you have to learn so many things and feel the car. and trust me, you will drive into a thing, no matter if its 2-3mph in return gear or otherwise. when you crash, you only crash your honda, but not your godlike mustang! and after that you will never make that mistake again, because its shocking :D
Patrick Barrett no I wouldn't recommend it, it has too much power and the car is big. You should drive a compact car (maybe a SUV) for an 1 year practice. Then you would be ready for it

The base rear facing camera screen is plenty. I've done some plenty fast accurate reversing with it.

the reverse camera in the 2013-2014 mustang (without nav) is smaller than that. why? because they put it in the rear view mirror.

You never buy a car in it's first year...EVER! An unproven motor is risky business. The 3.7 V6 is a solid motor and the better choice if you ask me.

im getting the ecoboost only because better gas mileage for going back and forth to school and I feel like I would be able to get more out of it with the turbo and personaly I love the sound of it with a magnaflow exhaust. don't reply with hate cause its my first car and im so greatful my dads gonna get me it. im not a spoiled rich kid either so none of that shit.
TheDino117 Yes and No on that Dino, You have to put the 93 Oc. in the gas tank to get that better mileage. It seems like a finicky engine. For a first car, hmmmm, I deferentially wont hate on you for it and I am glad you dad is able to help you out. For a first car but be careful. These cars do have some power to them. You talking about better gas mileage sounds like you have a more reasonable mind. With being RWD watch the snow but the traction control should help a lot with that. you had to angle it in and the trunk opening is small. it didn't get any better with the 16' either. Camaro is worse

Hiren Patel Yup. You can fill 87 in all models but beware of the performance drops in the Ecoboost and V8's. The numbers Ford published for the Ecoboost drop somewhat significantly on 87 vs. 93. Numbers for the V6 are for 87 already.

Do you recommend this car for a first time driver at 16-17?
I got a '16 v6 with a manual when I turned 18, but I had a year of driving experience before hand. You could handle it if you're a good driver. My first car was an '03 jaguar s type(automatic) with 240 hp. I never crashed(and still haven't). I wouldn't get one right away if you're not comfortable with driving yet. After I learned the basics of driving the mustang was easy to adjust to. It really just depends on what kind of driver you are.
+Patrick Barrett no. i was happy that i buy my honda 120hp 2004. you have to learn so many things and feel the car. and trust me, you will drive into a thing, no matter if its 2-3mph in return gear or otherwise. when you crash, you only crash your honda, but not your godlike mustang! and after that you will never make that mistake again, because its shocking :D
Patrick Barrett no I wouldn't recommend it, it has too much power and the car is big. You should drive a compact car (maybe a SUV) for an 1 year practice. Then you would be ready for it
