- Pennsylvania is not one of the great spots from finding dinosaur fossils, according to Edward Daeschler, paleontologist with The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University in Philadelphia.
A dinosaur head was found up the Susquehanna river across from Wyalusing someplace years ago. I can't remember the exact name of the town it was found in. Not as far as Towanda.
Yeah I saw that, neat.
Except for the bone fossil I found in Stroudsburg...and it’s not a burrow collapse. It is co-mingled with the sea creature fossils you’d expect to see in the Poconos.
I've been finding fossils behind the hs in Stroudsburg. Must have 200 hundred
Im the only person that watched this? Wow im stoned
I found a starfish 👀 in Pennsylvania
Where at buddy
That’s funny I just talked about finding them at my work like an hour ago, before that I haven’t talked about the fossils in like 6 months 😂 I think the rocks were sourced near Harrisburg Pennsylvania from my investigation
@@AnOdinaryReaper that’s really cool, I’m from that area so to hear that a starfish fossil was found just goes to show this place was a swamp/ocean. Thanks for the info lmao
@@dontmakememad6759 No problem, I also found sea shell impressions, as well as some type of plant like thingy, it kinda looks like a coil spring it’s tiny but very interesting
I find so many sea shell fossils where I live in the state.
Where did he get that map? Would love to have one.
Do you have a google earth? You can download geologic overlays that display all of the different stratigraphic units in your state.
I found a print
Wow.
this is a cool story
Cool
