I am a big fan of Xpand2 and am delighted by the superb presets you created - they have an incredible 80s flavor to them that is very appealing. Thank you so very much for making them available - you are very generous! Massive kudos to you for your work and dedication to Sound! 🤟
@@XavierRadix ended up being exactly the sound I wanted. heres the demo, listen to it at 2:10 or so soundcloud.com/horseshoe2/something-copy-copy-copy-copy
Hi, lovely video this is amazing stuff. I had an audio sample in wav format which I need to import as a preset in Xpand, to .tfx format. May I know how I can do that? Any help would be much appreciated
Thanks! I don't think you can import your own samples into Xpand!2 as far as I know. If it is, then I have no idea how to do it yet. Would be a fantastic function to have! I think you can only use the internal sounds. The .tfx files are just data for presets, they don't contain any audio.

Thanks for the kind words!
These sound great. The ones for the DX7 which are also compatible with Dexed are great but the one for Synth 1 are sublime.
Beautiful sounds my friend nice work.
Sounds really nice, I love xpand as well, such a great VST for so many sounds, well done!
Thank you very much!
AIR make some great stuff.
Nice little Intel reference!

EP 5 is so good

@@XavierRadix Yes it definitely would be! Thank you for your response
Sounds great! So this is kind of a ROMpler by architecture, only you can use different synth engines in each "slot"?
I wouldn't call it an "engine". More like a sample with some tweakablility. Not bad at all especially if you picked it up for $1.
It's a glorified preset machine ROMpler. You can play up to 4 sampled instruments at the same time, basically.
@@XavierRadix Ok, that's a classic ROMpler architecture. :) I like those...
Just wish the UI was resizable and preset menu was better on this.
I agree :). Not the best UI.
