Man, Buff was just great! Too bad that he wasn't younger that that time because he could have done Howdy shows for many more years! He didn't need anybody, just a fine puppettier like OLGA FELGEMACHER, and HOWDY!
Anyone remember Bob and Howdy's appearance on Donny and Marie in the 70's? On the stage with them where Pufnstuff items due to Sid and Marty Krofft produced the show.
does anyone know how to get info on the Howdy Doody show. I was in FL in either 1976 or 1977 and was o the show. I was picked and raced down an isle with two other kids, opened a suit case dressed up and ran back and came in first place. I was given a Buffalo bib record signed it was filmed at Ivan tour studios in Miami FL of Biscayne blvd and was trying to get a copy of the show to let my children and grandchildren view
+Jeffrey Cardin I think I've the show your talking about. If you look on amazon.com or ebay.com there is a set of episodes called "It's Howdy Doody Time: The Lost Episodes". I think it is on one of those discs, if not look for other "New Howdy Doody Show" DVDs that are available. Hope this helps.
This is one of their very best performances. Great songs, and OLGA FELGEMACHER was beyond superb!
Sad but true. Howdy still lives with us!
