Too much of a heartbreaker I guess, it hits you like a stiff bourbon when you think about the magic of the early 70’s and the all the wonderful family and friends who are sadly no longer here 😢💔
@@1whamster fair point but all those Xmas songs can't be fun and joy , a balance of sadness like this one is important as Xmas can be lonely for lots of people who are single or seperated and this can get them through 😊
Oh what memories! 1976!!! OMG been in love with with the same girl! my wife for 47 years! we dance with this song on Christmas eve ... Oh my Sonia Elizabeth I love you so much!!! Thank you for everything! my heart will die with you! love you for ever! and ever!!! JC.
Too right not played enough on the radio Jeremy Vine played it this Monday gone and cut it short the bore it's a fab Xmas tune god bless you Dana 🏴🏴🌲🎄🖐️
One if the best Christmas songs ever. I have been a fan of Dana since I saw her live in 197 and then in 1982 at the Hull New Theatre in Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs With real Dwarfed fantastic.dhe us such a great perdon So lovely to meet as well
...you would have to be a fool to not include this hidden gem in your all time fave xmas songs...(but maybe i am biased....because i 'was there' back in the seventies...when christmas was just tinsel and sugared almonds...enough was as good as a feast...)
THIS IS A GREAT SONG AND A GREAT SINGER. SHE WAS TIMELESS WITH HER MAKE UP, HER HAIR AND HER FASHION THAT SHE LOOKS SO FRESH AND STILL UP TO DATE NOW. 🥰
Nothing to do with the boiler going on the blink either, this swooner from Eurovision winner Dana, has the potential to have you whimpering into your Snowball, if you're feeling in anyway fragile over the festive holiday's.
I think that this is because techincal aspects for a "live audio", which was unusual for "Top Of The Pops" in that days, when the playback was always for all performances. Maybe for covering technical objects, Dana was in that "jail", and probably the band was playing live, back the "jail".
I'm a proud Irishman who grow up listening to our wonderful Dana.❤❤❤
Best christmas song that never gets played.
Absolutely. I said that on another clip a while back!
My all time favorite Christmas song. Written by Greenaway-Cook.
Wonderfully nostalgic song, sung by a beautiful lady, with a great voice....
The lovely Dana and her much underrated Christmas song. But perhaps belongs to a better time and place
This is such a wonderful Christmas song.
Why the hell is this song never played on MTV it's one of the best Christmas songs ever
Breaks my heart everytime I hear it 😢 xxx
@@dianeharris1349 it's quite sad alright, I'm biased I guess as I'm Irish too 😁

👏👏😍😍
Era muy guapa y muy sencilla creo pero su belleza esta en su interior
ITS NOT EVEN OCTOBER AND ITS STUCK IN MY HEAD
She’s quite childlike too which is cute I think.
Wow brow
Who the hell transcribed those lyrics (click SHOW MORE)?? "I didn't bought a wrath or mistletoe"--really??
I didn't bother with the mistletoe...... Is what she sings lol
Don't remember this one. I was 2 at the time.
Why did they put her in a cage?
