- Join us as we say goodbye 2016 and hello to 2017 at one of our favourite theme parks in the world, Epcot at Walt Disney World! We ride all of our favourite attractions at the park such as Test Track and Soarin' before checking out the extra special entertainment held for New Years Eve. Along with 2 very special showings of Illuminations Reflections Of Earth, we enjoy many different street parties all throughout Epcot before bringing in 2017 with one of the best fireworks displays we've ever seen!

Almost 12 years since I was last at Epcot and yeah the old version of Test Track was great with amazing theming and driving through that door had a meaning to it ! Nothing much has changed in that time and thought they would add a new major attraction rather than updating things, still an amazing park

Does anyone else remember back in the 90's when Test Track had additional inline seating in the middle of the cars? Meaning that not only were there normal seats but also an elevated single line for an additional 4 people ... it was a great if short lived idea!

Never seen fireworks make so much smoke. That's probably the most fireworks I've ever seen thrown up at once during a finale. It was crazy

Woo! I'm lucky enough to have been on the old test track. I agree with Harry mostly, I think the theme was a lot better with the old one, as he said it was very interactive but this one is a bit weird. I do prefer the concept of designing your own car though. Happy new year to everyone!! Great way to start off the year with this fantastic vlog!

I know they played Hail Britannia for the England pavillion but every time I hear y'all play God Save the Queen, instinctively I sing the lyrics to My Country Tis of Thee. The lyrics to the american version of the song was written in 1831 by an american parishioner who was in England at the time listening to an Italian composer who had himself borrowed the tune to God Save the Queen for a song he was doing. The man was so taken by the melody, he wrote lyrics to the tune and it was popularized here as our first National Anthem before Star Spangled Banner in the 1930s. Just thought it was neat that once both our national anthems were the same tune.
You should visit Busch Gardens Williamsburg, that has a similar theme to Epcot's World Showcase.

There is also Disney park's margarita earth in Epcot, which is the Mexico pavillion of the World Showcase.

I think the older test track manged to fit in much much better with a 'test track theme' , but the newer version fits in better with a 'future world' theme. Also I felt the older version had a better throughput

When will you go to Cedar Point? It's my favorite park. Six Flags Great Adventure is my home park.
We have no plans to visit Cedar Point at the moment but hope to at some point in the future

As far as Test Track you ask which is preferred. Answer is elements of both. I prefer the old ride, but the new queue. Old queue was way too loud.
