I also watch Pokimane, the shark girls, Bunny Girl with Carrot and Ironmouse - I may have fallen inside the VTuber rabbit hole and can’t get out
I've just recently found myself getting into the indie vtuber scene and my favorite ones aren't generally streamers! There's starting to be more and more vtubers tackling different media in different ways (video essays, character design, etc.), and im excited to see where else people go with it! I myself am dabbling in making a vtuber to advertise my future dicemaking endeavors ✨️

I think detailed characters are okay, even if for personas! Some people just prefer a lot of detail and that's okay, and the characters can still be recognizable.

I'm pretty sure that Vtuber models are complicated because of their lore/backstory, vtubers are just people acting as their character (if that makes sense)
