I myself recently saw a stretch of the transpennine route... at churwell viaduct, with what are indeed wire-carrying pentagraphs - all part of the electrification of whom coinciding with said transpennine route upgrade.
Interesting that Network Rail recently bought the land that Wortley Curve was on after it was put up for sale at auction. Possibility of direct trains to London via Wakefield from Bradford again.
Had a week off in October, so thought it was time for a few railway-related outings. Quite a lot of interesting things going on in West Yorkshire at the moment. Might take a closer look at the Forster Square and Shipley improvements soon.
I can't believe how different Hudds station looks right now. Great footage!
Great footage many thanks for making and sharing.

I smiled at seeing a 68 going through HUD again.
Think the Class 66 was dragging a Class 88, which is the dual mode version of the Class 68 with pick up from overhead as will as diesel power.
Was an 88,not 68

It's a good depot to view from public places, so all the shots are taken from the adjoining road, some on zoom.
